We do not have ‘operators’  in her majesty’s armed forces (we leave those titles for the uncouth Americans) , we have swimmer canoeists in the SBS and troopers in the SAS !

Scuffed 5.1 Hi-Capa with no mags.  If it could shoot, it would shoot at 320fps though. A steal at just £200.

Hurry, hurry, he's only been trying to flog it since March, it could go at any second.

(Or, buy one brand new for £128)

I'd say two-thirds of the cheapest current retail price, including from TaiwanGun / GunFire.

I mention this because I can only assume that some of these comedy ads are from people who didn't bother to shop around, and who don't think anybody else will either.

It's funny, but also a little sad that folk are apparently paying way over the odds for cheap guns.  Rip Off Britain writ large.

And another contender, joined an hour ago & first post is to flog kit for more than the new price... love it 😉.
Maybe mods should think about a minimum post count before being able to sell ?, might discourage the fly by night chancers who don't actually contribute in any way.

    Important stuff in bold.

You can buy a new AF-UK patch using the link in the top menu. They're due for dispatch this month (assuming no delays in production)
The new official AF-UK patch has been going through some design iterations these past few months and also a lot of colour changes to get it where we're happy with it. Though the patches are still in production (now the full batch, rather than pre-production samples), I'm expecting them to be about some time this month. All of the 'pre-orders' will be dispatched at the same time as soon as possible and you can request a refund at any time up until this point.

The price is £6 - up from £5 for the old patches
They're also now PVC and available in two different sizes (and four colours).

You'll get a marker/icon under your name for buying one
A small reward for supporting the site, but also so that you know who to look out for (read avoid) in the safe zone. This icon might change a bit over time if it's becomes obnoxious (i.e. it might get a bit smaller or be moved elsewhere in your profile).

Me thinks I may have found another “try my luck and see what happens?” Sales post
You’ve got a high powered torch (always useful) and a ‘seriously’ powered laser (bit worrying as it’s a green) but £45 you’d think not too bad a price for them both ?  And here’s the BUT if you look at the pic in the ad the logo’s shape (blurry but you can see the shape) then look at the logo on my torch , think it’s safe to say there the same ? My torch cost £8.99 from fleabay with the mount as well ! So £36 for the laser ? Make up your own minds I think 🤔

Like new? I can tell from the pictures that the material has extensive bobbling, the label condition clearly shows it's been washed at least twice. As new? This is a clear definition of "second hand" and also a dreamer.

Exactly this, I don't know that the "tech" tech that upgraded the gun is any good which is why I rarely buy guns second hand unless I've used it before or know the history/it comes with the invoice to prove that the tech work was done by a reputable person (even then I'll be wary) still think this recoil is going for more than its worth as a friend has just sold a similar package with more than just the standard upgrades and 7 mags and a whole plethora of other bits included and he struggled to get £500 for it. Not saying this wont sell but with it barely having anything bar what it came with new the cost is way past what it should be selling for.

I freely admit I’ve been a total TM recoil whore basically since the first Socom came out , but i always advise against buying an up-graded one (bar possibly hop , inner barrel and the deans mod) me personally I just wouldn't go near one . Big problem is a player or a tec may be an absolute god on ‘normal’ gearboxes but the recoils just aren’t the same , you go on ANY TM recoil forum and you’ll see the same up-grade questions coming up again and again AND then a few wks later you see exactly the same people asking for advice because “X isn’t working” or “Y keeps happening when it shouldn’t” etc etc , and again it’s the same questions again and again ! And don’t even get my started on the all powerful ‘Btec spectre’ mosfet ! You’d think it has the powers of an AI computer the way the fan boys go on about them ! hence they ask stupid money for them .
For me I do think a lot of the up-grades that players recommend and go for are just a case of ‘the Emperors new clothes’ , the fan boys have it so it must be good and I must have it as well ?

Probably the standard upgrade service firesupport offer which I think is £55 so cant include much unless he had a BTC fitted or the like but even then don’t think this warrants the price considering other packages go so significantly less with more included

For anyone debating one of the ICS pistols. I can assure you they are solid shooters. Fairly decent range for an out of the box non tm pistol, decent kick. Come packages with a thread adapter and bigger back strap. Chrono around 300ish on abbey red gas.
Apart from an air bubble problem that formed in the mag and was quickly fixed. I can safely say one of the better pistols i have used. Yes i have the BLE XAE but thats just the fully ambidextrous controls version. Been running mine for about 4 months now.

Does just look like a very meh non discript ‘glockish’ looking thing , but I’m inclined to say nothing wrong with it mechanically as I can’t see firesupport shifting a lemon on to there customers , Now any business with ‘BBgunz’ or any other variation of said title in there name ?
    Yup 100% they’d stiff you with a PoC ! 🤦‍♂️

It's a JG AUG rebranded as snow wolf.

    Any good in what way?

If you mean compared to other brands - TM are the best out of the box but you will pay tripple the price of that one.

APS and JG are almost equal with a slight nod to JG. The JG has a marginally faster motor, and a better stock piston head.

Body  wise all of the augs are near identical, JG and TM use identical bodies, APS use a slightly different one with a raised pistol grip and body area.

To use, that model is the best current variant. It has the best rail position and front hand grip options. And the QC spring. Provided you get the short variant. The one you have linked to is the long variant with the A1/A2 hand grip.

The A1/A2 don't have the  solid front hand grip. The A1 has no rail, the A2 only has a short high rail

The A3 is badly balanced, and looses other features like the tool-less barrel swap.

The Phantom/sniper variants are all stupid long, and generally have cheap junk extras, like crap scopes and bipods that don't offer the gun anything.

Augs are not like M4's. Nothing is bolted down internally (it's designed that way). They have an issue with BB's getting into the body on mag swaps that can be removed with some shimming. The battery compartment is small but will take a 7.4v 30-35c 2200mAh block in most cases.

The dual stage trigger can be sorted so it has a single only position with basic tools.

Out of the box the JG guns generally arnt' that bad. Cheap upgrades work with them, And the gearbox is solid.

A standard upgrade path would be:

ZCI stainless inner barrel 450mm (509mm is stock you want it slightly shorter). £25
Decent bucking (maple leaf ect). £15 with omega nub
    Mosfet. £15
    Shimming.

As a gun there noisy to the shooter:

So optional upgrades are a silent piston head and cylinder head (plastic type are quietest Element ect) SHS bore up kits with the silent heads are also an option but they have more weight in the piston and will slap but not as badly as a flat alu piston head.

The JG  is a decent out of the box gun, but there is a lot of room for improvement with upgrades. The BB's getting into the body can be frustrating but you can live with it if you love the platform.

Speaking of the platform the AUG is a tweakers wet dream. V3 boxes are fantastic to learn on, and putting in a fet is easy as all the wires are external. The gearbox is removable in about 60 seconds. The hop is one of the better AEG designs, and the barrel/hop are removable without having to strip the gun. It makes for a platform that saves a lot of time if you like to play with different internal options.

This is the model I would buy.

    https://gun-fire.co.uk/product-eng-1152215959-SW-020T-Carbine-Replica-Tan.html

Everything above applies apart from the barrel length for the upgrades. It comes with a 320mm inner and can be left stock,  or upgraded to the ZCI 320mm.

You can see it has the more solid hand grip, but still retains all of the features of the longer variant.  If you want to have the long barrel, then I would suggest a 2inch barrel extension and a suppressor to make up the length difference in the outer to 450mm.
