Dude, as Adolf Hamster has pointed out, those kinda holsters are notorious for releasing the mag when your on the move, but there's loads of hard shell holsters available for not much money, even a nuprol Hi-capa holster would be less than 20 quid, still cheaper than replacing a lost mag.

Looking through them, nothing there screams "build me", I know they're all real steel but all are a bit "agricultural" ?. I'd like to see something sci-fi ?

To be fair, it was probably 12-15 years ago, didn't have the choices in primers etc, plus it was a bit more lax regards h&s, things blew up beside you, quick count of fingers & toes, & played on, while probably laughing manically 🤪

I'm happy with my present list of guns (maybe not my ak74, bit meh bout soviet kit😕), & even though my head says "you don't need any more guns, they all do the same thing", still have a couple on my wish list of that I want to own. 1. L1A1 SLR 2. MK5 STERLING 3. TM AA12 1 & 2 I want just because they were the main weapons I used when I served, spent many a night in my sleeping bag cuddling my weapon 😘, & I want 3 just because it screams "COME AND GET SOME😈". unfortunately they all seem to hold their money, &every time any of them come up, I seem to be in the middle of a big financial expenditure lol, with no wriggle room for toys.☹️

IMI also do some nice hard holsters, the molle mount only needs 3 molle row width compared to the 4 row width that serpa molle mounts need, plus the holster angle is way more adjustable than a serpas.

For the pistol, get a serpa (or similar clone), generic cloth holsters have a nasty habit of touching the mag release, proving expensive if no one hands the mag in. Hard shell holsters will never do that thankfully, also if molle mount is what your used to, then stick with it for Airsoft, muscle memory is a good skill & definite leveller in most situations. If you get another pistol, just get another holster, the clones are cheap as chips but actually generally good quality & more than up to the job of fortnightly (?) use.

How about we also remove their trigger fingers, just to be on the safe side😏

Not entirely sure why you guys are still debating the pro's & cons of UK firearms ownership, ain't ever gonna happen, will only get worse in fact in the case of law abiding citizens who would be prepared to go to the aid of others in the event of the kind of emergency situation being discussed. Will that concern criminals or lunatics though ?........ Don't be silly, those intent on doing harm will always succeed, in much the same way that is Airsofters are the pretty much the only people affected by the vcra.

My family live in Missouri, my baby sister legally bought a .357 magnum, to replace her old gun which was stolen in a burglary, she was 20 & not legally allowed to buy a six pack of beer, that's some twisted logic right there. As for the "checks" they do, it's harder to get a contract mobile phone in the UK than it is to legally buy a firearm in the USA. Any lunatic that doesn't have a criminal record can get one. While I can't comment on druids playing style etc, personally I only generally use single shot, especially gratifying with my M14 & fal, & hopefully my new G3, & all my guns are sub 1j, all running between 300-335 FPS (but well sit up hops) & do well in a sneaky dmr stylee, if a knackered old fartknocker like me can get by with less than 1j, then surely it won't hold back fitter livelier players. The point I, & I suspect druid was making, was that in these anti gun times, if the sport was threatened in any way, a 1j ruling would be one possible way to placate those who lobby against us ?
