While I'm all for a bit of "tinkering", why make a molle bandoleer when there's already a few on the market, some of which are fairly cheap but still well made, & as for the back, well just get two & put them together ?. Personally, I love the bandoleers, been using them for years, got 3 I think?, & knowing how much stitchwork goes in to them, I'd never try to make one, not a cost effective use of time & materials.

The Most Boring Noob Question - Knee Pads?
Tackle replied to 38super's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I've seen people mod trousers with a couple of improvised belt loops sewn on the seams either side of the knee, then your kneepad straps looped through them. Means they stay at the right height, but also don't need to be stupidly tight, virtually cutting off the circulation. -

Mate FFS, this is probably the most knowledgeable & helpful forum around, yet your just pissing over well intentioned advice with smug insults & hearsay, not the way to endear yourself in the future, last time we had one like you was a guy called Duff, got on the wrong side of literally everyone, & is now conspicuous in his absence lol. Me, I have no understanding of the science of piston volume Vs barrel length etc, but I do know about decent hop set up trump's pretty much everything else, but in 20 years of playing I've seen long barreled guns with the accuracy & range of a garden sprinkler, & short barreled guns, such as my mates TM MP7 AEP, that had the range & accuracy of a NASA laser. So take a chill pill, accept that all our "guns" are glorified catapults, there are no guarantees, even with the most expensive ones, & enjoy the forums. -

Hands up who gets a nice warm smug feeling on game days when you pick off other players with their "Uber leet upgraded to the eyeballs" expensive guns, in the knowledge that yours is a cheap as chips stock gun, running on semi lol. Me ?️?

There's no right or wrong way, just what suits you & sometimes the situation/scenario will dictate what works best. as a young squaddie we were instructed to have our mag pouches (58 pattern) on our sides/hips, mainly because the "reaction to fire" taught was to drop to the prone position, obviously mag pouches on our front would have been inaccessible & also increased our target profile, not good. but as an old knackered airsofter, if I drop to the prone position, I ain't getting up, so I don't do it & therefore can justify having mags on my chest. end of the day we're just playing at it, whatever works, same goes for the rigs, for some players this is a glorified fashion show, much of what's worn & carried is unnecessary, but it looks the dogs bollocks lol ?
-
Most definitely wouldn't touch that either, definitely taking the piss & probably only a small step from fully live firing.
-
Obviously I'd never encourage anybody to break the law, & therefore my question is purely hypothetical BUT If a genuine airsofter, someone commited to playing & furthering the sport, was to butcher a deac in order to put Airsoft gubbins in it, & then use it for genuine skirmishing, who would care enough to report it, after all it's still non lethal & subsequently even less likely to be modded for live ammo. Also, what does "Shoot & Scoot" use for his smle Springer's etc ?, Denix replicas ?

& They say the old ones are the best........ Wtf do "they" know ?

Lol, so your the jammy git that got it ?, did it go for the advertised price ? -
Also, given what we now know, the cynical side of me wonders whether "don't come to my house because of covid" is actually code for "don't come to my house 'cos you'll see how shit it is" ?

Dude, as Adolf Hamster has pointed out, those kinda holsters are notorious for releasing the mag when your on the move, but there's loads of hard shell holsters available for not much money, even a nuprol Hi-capa holster would be less than 20 quid, still cheaper than replacing a lost mag. -
They're all wearing them in Colchester ?
