That would be my first choice too (the CYMA variants are very good too), plus the M14 just feels "right" in the dmr role, something about the traditional battle rifle shape makes every shot feel like your picking targets off, rather than jizzing all over them in a hail of plastic death lol ?

As for the kit, it's meant to be used, & will look just as good on the wall even if it's stopped working, so again no excuse to not get out with it. look at sites with a good reputation for ensuring fair play, doesn't matter that site "A" has more features than a Swiss Army knife, if it's badly managed & full of teflon warriors then a bad day is almost guaranteed, so choose carefully, even if it's just bog standard woodland running some simple old skool capture the flag type games etc. Which site is that ? last few years ive experienced similar feelings, but after 20+ years of ptsd & its associated effects, as well as other physical health problems, Airsoft has always been my "medicine" to let off steam so to speak, my real fear now isn't not wanting to play, but having the choice taken away from me, literally today put on a waiting list for a new knee, In addition to last years minimally invasive cancer diagnosis becoming a more pressing issue requiring drastic intervention this year, wtf, more than ever I need to pew pew.

I'm with @Druid799 on this, I've used a number of UK Airsoft retailers over the years, & more often than not they've been piss poor, everything from non existent stock, what they have got is often priced above RRP, & don't get me started on the shit eating attitude towards customers that many of them seem to have, you end up ready to slap some manners in to these twàts. I'm not a sheep, I have a bad experience, whether it's a site or a shop, you'll not get a second chance. so then my my hard earned goes elsewhere, if that means out of the UK, so be it.

Guess the only way to do that would be a fixed piston or draw stop, matched to your spring power ? Was at longmoor & someone had a rifle nicked (allegedly ?), The day overall was shit but I will commend the organisers for stopping the GamePlay & organising a search of the area & vehicles attending, thoroughly conducted by some plod players. Nothing found unfortunately & later the loss was considered "questionable", due to the past antics of the "victim", but I know I'd want the same effort made if my kit went walkabout. @loctez, what site were you playing at ? EDIT: Reading this back I realise it looks as if I'm talking about a recent game, it's not, it was years ago but the post about kit being nicked makes it a relevant experience I thought I'd share.
