Heavier IS better but you don't HAVE to use them.
Use whatever you have and see how they fly.
Make sure to adjust the power according to the weight you use.
If you got a good balance charger it may recover the nuprol battery enough to use.
Keep the other names in mind when buying any new batteries. (its always good to take a few batteries on a game day)

Very hard to tell if the components will work well together but the functional parts you listed should be good.
I hope you have a chrono to test fps before and after.
(Remember all site limit fps are with 0.2g)
Oh, and what spec batteries are you driving it with?
Before uploading, resize them to the smallest you can accept depending on what its for.
High quality would be around 1600 and lowest 640
Note: You can delete photos from your storage and they remain posted in the forum.

Depends how authentic you want it to look.
I made one out of a wire coat-hanger. Its strong enough to hold the AEG on a single point sling.
(Bent prongs point backwards)
I can recommend Skirmish Wycombe in High Wycombe. Not too far from you.
Just to ram it home even more...
Rent for your first 3 games (at the same site) Then you can get UKARA registered and look to buy the toys.
- First get good boots with ankle support.
Either army surplus or more modern comfy ones.
- Secondly get good eye protection. (full face or separate lower mask is recommended to protect the teeth)
Aim to spend around £40 or so for good eyepro and some anti-fog wipes. (Someone chime in with the best)
- Don't bother with a pistol until later. They are fun but add extra hassle to loadouts, need more preparation and not that important for woodland games.
Yes, the whole point of having a ported cylinder is to allow the piston to accelerate before beginning the compression phase.
(Short stroking may be more useful with pistols)
I may have heard that cats like short stroking... 😄
