  1. Depends how authentic you want it to look. I made one out of a wire coat-hanger. Its strong enough to hold the AEG on a single point sling. (Bent prongs point backwards)
  2. I can recommend Skirmish Wycombe in High Wycombe. Not too far from you. Just to ram it home even more... Rent for your first 3 games (at the same site) Then you can get UKARA registered and look to buy the toys. - First get good boots with ankle support. Either army surplus or more modern comfy ones. - Secondly get good eye protection. (full face or separate lower mask is recommended to protect the teeth) Aim to spend around £40 or so for good eyepro and some anti-fog wipes. (Someone chime in with the best) - Don't bother with a pistol until later. They are fun but add extra hassle to loadouts, need more preparation and not that important for woodland games.
  3. Yes, the whole point of having a ported cylinder is to allow the piston to accelerate before beginning the compression phase. (Short stroking may be more useful with pistols) I may have heard that cats like short stroking... 😄
  4. If you like different, may as well go all out with random all the colours 😄
  5. Yeah the lettering and top logo came out really well. I just put in a bit of 'Aluminum Black' to match it all up
  6. Duno if it helps but I recently got one of THESE (Not this seller) and it works fine.
  7. No, unfortunately I don't have one to test on.
  8. Some more examples: CYMA CM033 Thompson CYMA CM032 M14 Testing on a 40mm grenade
  9. I've used https://ast-gun.airsofttaiwan.com/ a few times with good results

Its not yet mandatory to add forum name and date to adverts but its certainly recommended
  11. I think that was because they were bad for certain types of rubber used in seals. But I don't know if its still relevant since seals aren't made of rubber anymore and use synthetic compounds instead. Basically I use oil for light parts including seals or silicone grease on heavier metal to metal contact. Haven't had any issues yet...
  12. Yep 3in1 is a good oil as well as GT85 You might want a thin layer of grease which won't run everywhere. Apparently WD-40 was developed to protect missiles in underground silos from rusting 😄
  13. Duno if its good or bad but keep in mind its quite viscous and sticky. Could be worth a try but I would say normal grease would be better.
  14. You say its 15c but pic shows 20c I guess its not enough power for a hi-speed motor so you might need a 25c battery. With the MOSFET I don't think you can use 11.1v
  15. Sounds like its stalling. What spring and what battery?
  16. Its much cheaper and safer to buy from Asia than US. Most Airsoft stuff is made in Asia anyway
  17. Duno what you mean "motor randomly begins spinning" My guess is that the new motor may be a different type and throwing off the MOSFET. Depending on its TPU. Is it a high-speed or high-torque motor?
  18. NEVER look in the classifieds 🤔
  19. I'm still around 😁 Though I haven't played since before Covid either 🤣
  20. Can do 😉 Here's my Hi-Power Unfortunately I had to go over the crappy scratching done before so its a bit messy but it does look better in person.
