  1. For those who want to EDIT an advert or DELETE old ones so you don't get further enquiries Click on 'Advert Actions' 'Hide' will remove the advert from everyone including yourself so essentially deleting it.
  2. They will not give personal information but will confirm details you provide. When you call you ask if a UKARA number is associated with 'name' and/or 'address' and if currently valid.
  3. Welcome back 😁 Might want to check the dates you put. Did you start in 2004 perhaps? Check out places near you HERE
  4. I can add to Lord_Poncho's comment about the WELL MB01 I got one to try out as it was cheap and wanted to try a boltie just in the garden. I was lucky enough to get a relatively good one. It shoots almost exactly 450fps(0.2g) stock and is accurate enough to reliably hit a tin can at 15m which is the max distance I can shoot in my garden. (I use 0.3g BBs) Haven't tried it in an actual game but for a bit of plinking fun its quite satisfying. (Tip: Pull the bolt as close to the body as possible to avoid too much side torque) BUT if you're after accuracy then stick to air rifles as airsoft is nowhere near as accurate.
  5. Duno if they're good sites but he might be able to check reviews of some nearby ones. https://playairsoft.uk/map
  6. Might be worth actually posting in the 'Wanted' section... Good lad
  7. There is meant to be but might be worth talking to the site to work something out
  8. Don't worry, we were all noobs once. Dealing with problems is how we learn and improve 😉 Its either a simple fix or something is broken. If it all seems to fit together properly and you can't get it to work then its best to take it to the shop. 25mins is really close, you're lucky there. They may not even charge you if its a simple fix. (Make sure to keep it well hidden when transporting)
  9. Its really weird. (It does seem to be quite dirty and worn for being a few days old) Is there an airsoft shop nearby you can take it to? If you have a small file try to make the area circled a smooth ramp
  10. That's quite a resurrection! 😄 1995 I started on a CBR 400RR, then a CBR 600F, then a GSXR 600 K4 Now its a KTM RC8 😍
  11. Taking out the hop-up unit and inner barrel is not a big deal and shouldn't cause such an issue. You may have not reassembled it properly. Could be an issue with return spring guide rod position. Try to redo everything and make sure it all fits back together easily. Make sure all visible screws are tight. Where are you based? (just in case)
  12. Interesting One could say its more realistic because you can't see real bullets
  13. Totally up to you. Use whatever does the job and makes you happy to handle. Of course if its too heavy or too cold to use GBBR then go to AEG...
  14. Exactly 😄 Not forgetting shaking hands of the other team after a game 😁
  15. Specifically targeting youngsters with ads will land you in hot water with the lefties saying that you're trying to radicalise them and indoctrinate violent behaviour. Anything gun shaped is a no in today's society. Ads would have to emphasise the camaraderie and team building but avoid showing the 'toys'
  16. Yeah, we got carried way off topic. Lets stick to what we've got and forget making it more mainstream 😁
  17. Yeah that's definitely a good idea if they can get enough numbers to make it sustainable. The problem is I imagine most parents of kids that age would steer them away from such realistic weapons to nerf/paintball being preferable.
  18. Yeah, I imagine it would feel quite different and not necessarily better. I was just saying that its the only way to make it a more legitimate 'sport'
  19. I'm sure the technology has moved on since the last generation of kit Yeah, maybe they could have the two different modes 😉
  20. Yeah, I go to Rykas in Dorking most Sundays. We gun nut bikers are definitely the worst 😜
  21. Yeah, there are definitely two sides 😉
  22. I hope someone can help and look forward to seeing the final results
  23. Yeah, of course the acceptance of gun culture is MUCH higher in the US. Prices seem on par with over here, maybe a bit lower for BBs and RIFs. Only $300-800 into your RIFs? If only I had that much in em 🤣
  24. Foil & Saber fencing use simple electrical circuits in a limited space where the two participants are tethered with a cable to the control box. I've thought about it before and honestly don't know how accurate scoring could be achieved with airsoft. The closest related tech would be laser tag but that is obviously more accurate than blowing BBs out of a tube so they wouldn't be compatible. Personally I'd be happy to drop the whole BB firing thing to be replaced with low power laser or IR and mechanical recoil. It would essentially be a version of laser tag with more realistic weapons. I'd miss making holes in paper targets of course but worth it I think to eliminate the honour system. (And no, I'm not going to bugger off to play laser tag instead because they don't use RIFs 😄) But having a robust scoring system would be the first step to making it a legitimate sport. Although the premise of people 'shooting' each other in mock combat for fun may still have some opposition.
