  1. Multiple uses 🤣 Note: "External use only" so no good for cleaning inner barrels 😄
  2. Yeah, Isopropyl and Isopropanol are the same chemically just different names. https://www.chemicals.co.uk/blog/isopropanol-same-as-isopropyl-alcohol#:~:text=Isopropanol is also called isopropyl, between isopropanol and isopropyl alcohol. They'll both get you equally high 🤣
  3. No Bit of thin cloth with Isopropyl and twist as it goes through slowly. Stop when it gets to hop (slight resistance) Clean hop end with Q-tip I only take the barrel apart when I polish the inside (which I've done on a couple of rifles and a few pistols)
  4. Did you get the P35? Its exactly the same design as the MK3 Personally I like KJWorks and wish they would produce a Hi-Power MK3
  5. The slide is fine but the hop adjustment is incredibly basic and annoying to adjust. (Not a deal breaker as at least it stays when set) The biggest problem with the current WE version is the valve knocker design that will snap VERY easily when a magazine is inserted (Uncocked). Most pistols have a hinged knocker that folds up when a mag is inserted. Make sure to rack the slide to cock the hammer (and striker) BEFORE you insert a mag!
  6. All I did was rack the slide and not overly forcefully. That part is quite thin and made of really poor quality pot metal. (afterwards I broke a part of it on purpose to see how strong it was) I've already bought a replacement from KYAirsoft. (Postage was more expensive than the part of course) I also plan on strengthening it a bit with some JBWeld Maybe next time I'll make a post to see if anyone else needs parts and we can put them all together into one order 😉
  7. Funny coincidence, mine just broke yesterday 🙄 (trigger bar)
  8. Sorry to hear. I hope you left appropriate feedback
  9. As all the above. I have a few GBBRs but I still haven't used them in a game yet because of the necessity to bring loads of mags WITH extra BBs and gas into the game. And you'll still be outgunned by anyone with a couple of hi-caps If you really want an entry GBBR to use in the garden then the cheapest option is the WE G36 BUT the internal parts will only last a few thousand shots before the trigger sear wears out so be prepared to buy spares from KYAirsoft
  10. Hi Gasman, Sorry to hear the news. Keep the good memories close.
  11. Even though they make decent pistols, I'm not interested in plastic slides
  12. Sorry Oli but the truth is that's just a toy and not real airsoft. There's nothing you can do with it. The cheapest pistol you can get that's actually worth having is THIS one or THIS full setup.
  13. Agreed, if its coming out the top then its the exit valve. Remove valve and inspect the o-ring. Hopefully you sort it out quickly as Co2 leaks get expensive fast.
  14. Some more examples: (PM me if you want something done) Right side designed by me And a classic
  15. My son is at Bristol UWE and we checked if he could keep some pews in residence since they supposedly have an airsoft society but NO weapon shaped objects are allowed on uni premises. He didn't want to pursue it further so don't know if they have some storage facility.
  16. I'd have to agree tho. Springers are just not meant to last. Even the metal ones fail quite quickly. My son had a metal one as his first pew and even though he treated it carefully it only lasted a month before something in the mechanism broke.
  17. I don't have any specific experience with the SCAR line but I can say that WE are decent for the price 👍 The trigger components do tend to wear faster than with more expensive GBBR companies but as Gavin said, parts are available from KYAirsoft. (I have bought quite a few bits too) You can also get a Steel trigger pack from Ra-Tech like THIS (Reliable shop) So keep it serviced and enjoy 😁
  18. Should be able to find something here: https://www.leespring.co.uk/compression-springs
  19. Heavier IS better but you don't HAVE to use them. Use whatever you have and see how they fly. Make sure to adjust the power according to the weight you use.
  20. You'll have to open it up and check for anything broken.
  21. If you got a good balance charger it may recover the nuprol battery enough to use. Keep the other names in mind when buying any new batteries. (its always good to take a few batteries on a game day) Check here: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/batteries-chargers/batteries/lipo.html https://www.vapextech.co.uk/batteries/airsoft-batteries/li-po-packs?product_list_order=price https://www.componentshop.co.uk/batteries/airsoft.html
  22. Yes, they do usually come with some shims from factory but quite often just a basic level which can usually be improved.
