Well, spank my nuts and call me a scutter.  Dispatched and apparently in transit.  I may have got the last one after all.  It's unlikely to arrive by the weekend though, let alone the indicated date of tomorrow, but it's the thought that counts.

No, wait, the other thing, it's having the item before the next game day that counts.

My two has been sent as well but the date indicated was the 12th!

I ordered yesterday the notification gave me it will be processed on the 6th as on out the door. Is anyone else get that?

I cant find that notification but my first order is now shown as packed and ready for shipment. 2nd order is still in progress.

😲  Wow.  I got order 61707x last Thursday night.  How far have they got since then?

I don't mind too much about the dispatch and delivery time, as it's still much cheapness, many bargains  Just as long as they don't foul it up like my previous order and go incommunicado.

Friday dispatch and (this) Wednesday delivery was indicated when I ordered, so that's when the PayPal dispute will start.  I love PayPal so much, it means not having to care about retailers' incompetence or excuses.

My first 61716* and my second was 61773*. Just got to put up with it! I don't desperately need anything in the orders for another 2 weeks.

Huh, the 10% discount code is now front and centre and applies to everything.  That's some seriously cheap gear at the moment - if it shows up.

No updates on my order today, I expect they're victims of their own success again. 🙄

If I remember right, it did say when I ordered that nothing would be shipped out til Monday. I just ordered another RIF today and the order number is up by about 600 more then the order I made on Friday... So I may need to wait a bit longer to see the second one!

No worries it's fun to chat about. I only replaced the O-ring. As for the motor, the reason I know the SHS high torque one doesn't fit quite right is because I bought it and it doesn't fit quite right! It cost £30 so I put up with it being a fraction of a millimetre too high, it doesn't seem to adversely affect anything but my OCD. If you want to know anything else feel free to PM me!

Cheers for letting me know. I might just go with a new piston assembly but we'll see how good the compression is out of the box. I'll take this discussion to its own thread.

A year ago I bought a new Swiss Arms F2000 harness, which turned out to be a P90 one. At least I have a use for it now!

Cylinder head was fine after PTFE tape, the o-ring on my piston was just barely too small and sometimes failed to seal so that needed replacing. The nozzle was a lost cause so I just got a replacement SHS one with an O-ring. That took the FPS up to 270.

A new motor, the stock one is so weak. Don't get the SHS high torque 16tpa though, it's a good motor but the screws on the back of it are weirdly chunky and pushes it up too far in that particular motor cage. Some epoxy to stick down the bushings might be good. Could also get some 16awg cable for rewiring and smaller cables for trigger.

I actually think the stock hop unit is fine although I did replace mine without knowing what I was doing. Something I didn't realise at the time is you only change your hop unit for stable hop application if your stock one can't do it. There's no good upgrades for the P90 in this regard because the Prowin uses the stock arm anyway. You can argue airseal for changing your hop chamber but that's generally resolved with PTFE and/or the dental floss mod.

As for the bucking and nub I just went straight for maple leaf because I got over excited. I wasn't blown away with the results but it's good, like a good stock gun. I suggest trying it out and making your own call or turning to others with more experience on that one.

I found the stock gears are fine;  I might not be the best person to ask because I prefer ~20rps. Getting silly RPS just because you want to see how to do it is a good enough reason to me though. Try stuff out, break it, fix it again, learn stuff, they're cheap! Good luck.

Sorry about the questions. Did you replace the O-Ring or the entire piston? Luckily I picked up the SHS nozzle myself. Do you recommend a particular motor? Cheers for the advice!

Nice choice, that's the only AEG I've ever worked on and I really enjoyed it. Plus the compression on mine was utterly tragic out of the box (150-180fps on 0.2s) so I had good reason to mess with it.

Drunk me impressively remembered that V6 Gearboxes are the easiest to work on. Did you end up replacing the compression parts or did you PFTE it up?

Any other bits you think I should order? Worth getting a better hop unit along with the bucking and nub? Worth changing the motor or do you think the 14:1 gears will suffice?  For £75 quid brand new cant go wrong with the P90! Though it apparently is 400FPS out of the box.

  8. Drunk purchase from last night. My brain decided that I needed to learn how to work on a gearbox and decided to buy the following:

    CYMA P90 CM060B.

    Specna Arms 14:1 Gearset.

Element 6mm Steel Bushings (Should have bought bearings).

    Xcortech XET304u Mosfet

    SHS P90 Air Nozzle

    FMA P90 QD Sling Mount

    Element Gearbox Shim set.

    2X SHS M90 Springs

Going for a high speed build, not sure whether to short stroke and go for 11.1v or just go with a standard 7.4v high speed build. Considering I have never worked on anything like this before probably will go 7.4V. I also have a TM Aug barrel that will go in this.

G36 to M4 Magwell conversion adapter

    One point bungee sling

Dump Bag for my SL8 Low Caps.

    11.1v lipo with deans.

Back on topic, because I'm cheap and I don't learn well, I've put in another small order with them.

One thing I'll note is that they seem to love discount codes, which are fairly easily found with a quick "gunfire discount code" Googol.  10% off what's already the cheapest EU prices that I can find was too much to resist.

Order went in last night, I got the initial acknowledgements, but nothing today.  I've again (I really should listen to my own advice) gambled on a "very small quantity of stock" item.  Taking bets on when I get the "Dear Customer, unfortunately there is problem with order..." response. ;)

Put in a small order of a cheap Cyma G36c and a mushroom shaped Flash Hider at midnight last night. Mine status is currently at processing, will let you know if it changes.

  10. Picked up a Cyma CM.011 G36c as Birthday/Christmas present for my SE tour Battlebuddy. I do not drive and without him I wouldn't get to see so many sites, never takes a penny for fuel or the dart charge despite offering every weekend. He loves the armed police look so I know he's been ogling the G36c. It might arrive a bit hot on the FPS front though! Let's hope the compression isn't great 😉

Also picked up a 5KU Cookie cutter B flash hider for my thicc boi M4 to complete the blocky look.

  11. Hey gents.

I hate M4's but I jumped on this one last year as it was going cheap brand new at a local shop. (ICS CXP-15 Proline metal). It was a pistol style only M4 with no stock. I bought it to be upgraded straight away.

    Prommy Tightbore barrel

    Maple leaf flat hop.

    ICS Metal Hop unit.

    Short stroked piston.

    New spring.

New ICS pistol grip (Old one broke during the upgrade process, the new style grip needed a lot of fettling and swearing from my tech to go on)

    Mosfet.

    ICS QRS Stock

    SRU foregrip

    Holo sight.

Canted Ironsights (Because they look kickass.)

Managed to blow the fuse first game as it was the one for 7.4 lipos, need to get the 30A. Also the ICS high caps weren't feeding fast enough in full auto so had to use my Nuprol midcaps.

I also have the Mag short midcaps, which looks better do you think? If I am to use the Mag short midcaps i'll need to get a stronger spring for them to feed well.

For an M4 it looks alright... I guess...

Scrolling too quickly - I thought that was a StormTrooper E11 Blaster!

In other news - I've ordered another Warrior Universal Holster for my G22 for the weekend.

It certainly does have a resemblance! Especially with no foregrip!

I had considered getting an AEP this month, but decided to do the sensible option and double down on KSG accessories. Ordered the side rail, sling swivel and the quick release. (Even though I ordered the DTD M4 mag adapter, I would like to use shells easily on occasion)

Never ever got to any site that I’m playing at (or my team mate) with one of those crime against all that’s good M4 adapter abortions stuck in your KSG(when you get it of course) as we will hunt you down and we will shoot you AND keep on shooting you till our loading arms can’t load our KSGs anymore ! 😱

As you may guess I don’t like them .😉

I will at least get some VN style straight mags for it 😉

I may just play with it with standard shells for the mall this Saturday as I am not sure I'll have the time to install the adapter.
