  1. If you can, get it printed in ABS. It's BB resistant, looks great and feels a lot better in the hand than pla or petg
  2. Sounds like you guys need to check out the Facebook group Airsoft 3D Printing 2.0. a lot of people there are doing kits for the AAP including stuff that sounds a lot like what you're describing.
  3. Clearly you're new here. You're supposed to kick off, arguing with everyone and calling us various names (bonus points for DMing people offering to fight them) before giving up and disappearing off the forum forever.
  4. Ah shame. Figured it wouldn't last thou. Seemed like a good deal.
  5. Sounds terrible. Feel free to dispose of it in my garden.
  6. Love an SVD. I'm tempted by the we one on the classifieds, just need to work out sourcing a set of wood furniture for it.
  7. That's some helpful feedback, you should let him know. I'm working with him to bring out my SCAR rail and he seems like a very helpful and understanding guy.
  8. You can buy the STL here. Don't know if he wants to start making kits to sell.
  9. Thought I'd promote a couple of things my friends have five for the AAP. First is a tdc kit from Airtac UK https://www.airtac.me/aap-01 And the second is my dad's Battlestar Galactica inspired sci fi kit https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/gadget/aap-01-barrel-mod-b
  10. This one isn't mine but my dad's just got the AAP-01
  11. Looks sweet. I'd get a cantilever mount for that red dot though.
  12. Finished my version 2 SCAR rail. This version has a monolithic rail to replace the wobbly front sight.
  13. That sounds pretty good but I'll wait for the long term reviews. I heard nothing but stories of the first gens breaking, nozzles, tappet plates and magazine followers.
  14. I keep going back and forth on the VFC ones. Are they really that much better than the WE to be worth the extra cost? That's kind of what I meant. They're so disappointing ootb that people don't see the point in putting the effort in and cut their losses
  15. I've been wanting an MP7 for a long time but the money never seems worth the final product so I want to do this too. The we ones break so often that they turn up on the forums for peanuts pretty regularly.
  16. I need to get back to Ironsight. Last time I went was to a Christmas game a few years ago.
  17. The WAS universal and FRV make a great pair, very solid.
  18. This is exactly why I only buy my AEGs boneyard. I find that's the only way you know exactly what you're buying
  19. Right? If you're going to have an upper without forward assist at least make it smooth sided
  20. I never liked the idea of the bad lever anyway. Lots of extra surface area to get caught on stuff and weight to stop it from working properly. Much prefer the PDQ style one on the MTR16. Trouble is for that it's just about the only though about it that I like!
  21. Picked up some brass 14mm CCW threaded inserts yesterday. Perfect for making custom muzzle breaks and suppressors
  22. Last time I had anything delivered by DPD they "lost" a £60 motor. At my old job more often than not if something arrived from them it was damaged.
  23. If I get it to work I'll post it on the What have you made thread.
  24. Thanks. I'm designing a trigger guard holster for my MP5 so hopefully that'll mean I could run around with one of these on my hip
  25. What make is that one? I got a hankering for an mp5k last night
