  1. Can you still fold the stock with the paracord? Don't want to spend all that time doing it if it ends up needing to come straight back off.
  2. If you want an M4 base you can't beat the MK12 Mod 0 for looks. The Double bell one is apparently pretty solid so not a bad base to upgrade.
  3. A lot of mental health practitioners have taken to calling it mindfulness exercises to separate it from the stereotypes. I've used it to clear my head at night and it really works to help me sleep through the night. I should really start doing it again...
  4. Hiding in the undergrowth with a small group I'd teamed up with that day waiting to spring an ambush. It had been raining all day so a lot of people had given up and gone home which meant at such a large site the action was very spread out. It was a fall back game and we were defending. At the start we pushed forward as fast as we could and took up concealed positions close to the path. We waited for them to push past us to the front line then opened fire from the bushes. By the time they respawned and came back for us we had already pushed round, cleared most of the enemy push and rejoined our team. The atmosphere of waiting in the rain watching the enemy pass by in spitting distance reminded me of every Vietnam movie.
  5. I know this isn't exactly what I started this thread taking about but I believe mental health is as important as physical health, of not moreso, especially in this pandemic. I keep seeing people talk about their lack of motivation and some have opened up more and a lot of what people are talking about sounds like the early signs of depression. So I'm sharing this group started by a good friend of mine. It's great as a place you can go to vent, get a second opinion or just talk things over. It's helped me and many others and I don't think it's hyperbole to say it's more than likely saved a few lives. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2322408757979991/?ref=share
  6. Maybe try going back to basics. Take the bare minimum kit, go with a few friends and just strip it back to the core experience.
  7. Negative airsoft put a video up today explaining his improvements of the AGM mp40
  8. In the last two weeks I've lost about a stone and an inch off my waist. It's amazing what eating better and getting out for regular hikes can do.
  9. I would get one of these but the tac-41 is out now too.
  10. Now you need to start doing impression kits. Sci fi, historical or just cool.
  11. There's no time to think, only buy There's no time to think, only buy There's no time to think, only buy There's no time to think, only buy
  12. I did once have a sniper come find find me after a game to find out what I was shooting at him with. He had a good laugh when he saw that was a little 10" M4.
  13. I'm going to go ahead and apologize as I have a feeling this may be someone I directed here from Facebook.
  14. The 74N is the best looking AK. Really want to get one myself at some point.
  15. I guess children aren't allowed to own Airsoft guns but apparently they can run multiple sites.
  16. Can't stand drums so can anyone recommend some extended mags that work with the AAP?
  17. One of the reasons I'm sad about combat south closing is their less common DMR rules. 400fps, semi only and no med. Since that's basically how I play with a regular AEG anyway I figured I'd build a DMR to make the most of their rules but they closed before I could finish it 😭
  18. I feel like if I had the disposable income I would absolutely be in the latter half. Instead I have a few guns, one for each "role" that I have put a lot of time and effort into making them totally my own and I've done my best to keep the budget of each gun to under £400 including the base gun and all the upgrades. Each base gun I've picked up for less than £200, often as boneyard guns or as parts. The actual upgrades were all the best value for money stuff rather than the absolute best parts, so a lot of ZCI and SHS/rocket.
  19. I've got a couple of friends who need to work hard to keep the weight on. From what I've talked to them about what it basically comes down to is to live like you're constantly bulking. So high calorie, high protein diet and working out for size over straight strength. If you're really struggling I'd suggest talking to your GP about getting a dietitian for the best and healthiest way for you.
  20. You can't fix stupid but with enough duct tape you can at least keep it away from a keyboard.
  21. It took me such a long time to realise the worth of decent trainers. I couldn't understand for the longest time why I kept getting shin splints after I ran. Turned out it was the lack of proper heel support.
