  1. Nice! Mine and my dad's builds have Had a couple of mentions in US Airsoft before
  2. I love mine. It's the smallest gun I've owned and I don't think I could go back to a full sized pistol now. That hasn't stopped me wanting to stick a huge suppressor on it though lol
  3. I had a pair of Kombat boots back when I was a cadet. The soles shredded after 6 months of light use.
  4. There's a reason the most expensive bit of kit I own outside of rifs are my pair of really nice Altberg tabbers boots. They've saved my ankles more times than could count at airsoft games, on hikes, at festivals and in snow. They're also the most comfortable footwear I've ever owned and being hand made with real leather and solid soles I wouldn't be surprised if they outlasted my legs.
  5. Happy to donate my closet space for some of those
  6. £300 for a WE M4? But it's got a PTS grip and trigger guard so that's ok. Looking back he was trying to sell it for £600 as a BCM build he'd built but never skirmished. Seems like someone just wanted the rail so he decided to split it all. Trouble is he's expecting to make back all the money he poured into it. https://forums.zeroin.co.uk/forum/classifieds/rifles-smg-s-for-sale/gas-gbb-rifles-smg-s/3232731-we-m4-cqb-unskirmished https://forums.zeroin.co.uk/forum/classifieds/rifles-smg-s-for-sale/gas-gbb-rifles-smg-s/3230670-we-bcm-mcmr-build-as-new
  7. I figured no one is going to release an airsoft BRN-180 any time soon so I'd make my own
  8. My dad had the same problem. Last game it just went poof. No warning, no discernable reason, nothing. I'm going to keep using mine as long as it works and if it dies in just getting a warfet.
  9. My old bike is sat languishing at my mum's. I'd dig it out but it needs a new chain and tires. Not that I have anywhere to put it at the moment.
  10. I'm getting the tac 41 later this year. Seems like the best option on the market right now. I want to try doing a printed chassis for it kind of like what you've pictured.
  11. I looked at converting my SCAR H to a V2 5 gearbox to justify the extra length but it's really not worth the effort.
  12. I'm the same. You end up with a bunch of dead space and extra length. It'd be better if you could make use of that extra length like with a tracer unit or round counter hidden in the gas block or something
  13. That makes sense as the ones I'd seen had the hose running into the receiver. I want to making my own GBBR bullpup using printed parts and G5 internals. Not sure how well that'd hold up though.
  14. From what I heard it's the mags. Apparently you can get it running alright with HPA though.
  15. Progress is still progress. It's all a process so even if it doesn't feel like you're where you should be, you're still not where you were.
  16. GBBRs make more sense than AEGs for bullpups but aside from SRU kits which aren't my cup of tea, your options are limited to the Groza (hen's teeth), the Tavor (hen's teeth and also crap), the WE L85 (spotty but ok unless you're a lefty) or the GHK AUG (good if you like that sort of thing) It'd make a pretty good airsoft gun and with the modularity if the real gun it's a marketer's dream with all the aftermarket parts you could sell for it.
  17. It can't be overstated how the state of your mental health directly affects your physical health. Sounds like you're in a better place now though.
  18. Following because I've got an idea for a custom helmet/face shield thing.
  19. I'm no expert but if you cum black you should probably see a doctor
  20. There seem to have been a lot of horror stories just recently. Airtac UK is collaborating with another guy to make impact cap grenades to use with a co2 shell which seem really damn cool and a lot safer.
  21. 100% this. The tag rounds don't seem that bad out of the tubes instead of the MGLs. I badly want to do a US grenadier loadout having seen this picture. That's a case of "this is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine" lol. I'm that same with my guns. The one time I was hit by a shotgun, it was a TM Beecher, HPA tapped with M4 mag at 10m. Perfect triangle straight to the forehead.
  22. I'd love one at some point but they're not cheap. My next purchase is a TAC-41 so maybe next year lol. I'm happy to hear that the gen 2 fixes the problems. In the mean time I should really finish this thing I came up with after the initial disappoint of the gen 1 received_138942641487103.webp
