My opinion personally is very rarely does anyone shift on a "good" and working gun. I appreciate there are hard times etc but a DMR is much like a bolt action sniper, usually get thrown together, don't work properly and the owner claims it's the best thing since sliced bread.

If you're going into DMR land, just sell the gun you're selling and build one up so you know where it's come from, what it's got in it. As said above, they aren't the best bases to work from and there is no mention of any gearbox work.
Maybe press for some more details on it, absolute full breakdown of parts etc. If you're buying/trading it then you have every right to ask.
Huge barrel for a V2 so hopefully a full cylinder in there.

Mine work absolutely fantastic. I do however own an OFCOM license to use them on dedicated frequencies so I can sneer at the peasants who don't.

General rule of thumb is about 60-70% of retail price. The additional mags unless mega rare are probably more of a "nice to have" rather than adding more value. 
I'd probably be pitching £350 if you actually want to shift it and even then you'll likely get knocked down. It's quite a niche weapon so the general skirmisher probably won't be too enticed by a higher price tag.

You realise how CTCSS works don't you? It doesn't stop other people hearing you. It means that everyone can still hear you but if you set it then it filters out everything that doesn't use the same ctcss code.
Try it - Set your radio to transmit with CTCSS and then get another to receive on same channel but without CTCSS and low and behold you can hear it!

Which can lead to much hilarity and head scratching when Alice can hear Bob, but Bob can't hear Alice.  It's easier to just try another channel without CTCSS, it's not like you'll have more than 16 channels in use on a typical airsoft site other than some massive milsim or festival.

You get alloted 7 or 9 frequencies to use and then it's fight over them as the chance of people using those is significantly lower than the PMR stuff.
 
You do get individual frequencies though if you register as a site as the spectrum is then allocated on your location (assumed the site isn't moving) but the "light" license a lot of the groups use is this self coordination stuff.

@Steveocee I ran it as an AEG as Phoenix don't knock down HPA users and AEG's can run at 370! Gives me  a nice advantage over most AEG's as you'd expect them to be sub 350 as per everywhere else.
 
Now DMR's are 450fps at Phoenix. My mate ran his MTW as a DMR and had a blast!
 
I'm tempted to try DMR next time I'm there. However being a bushman, I got a good 20+ kills within 20m. I went invisible and hit a 10 kill streak. Had the other team moaning at eachother thinking they were getting team killed!! 🤣🤣

God I wish you hadn't drummed about how much fun DMR with HPA was....... consider yourself a bad influence.

Had to comment, mate, love the vid, the ideas for where you're going and the consistency of what you are doing is class. Genuinely are an inspiration and it's a pleasure to watch you both on cam and behind the cam shooting at people. Keep it up. It's because people like the customisability and versatility of it. The amount of time and effort people put into making and sharing their own designs and products, most of the time for free is quite staggering!
 
Plus it's a cheap £80-90 pistol that can quite easily (using readily available AA parts) be turned into essentially a DMR with full Auto capabilities. 
 
I know most people own more than one of them (me included) but you could use just the one pistol as a DMR in the morning, rebuild it into an SMG after lunch and then use it at a pistol by just whipping off (or just folding) the stock and use it as a secondary.
 
I do understand your point totally, but why do we do any of it? Why do we mooch about in the woods or abandoned buildings shooting eachother?

I would say the only thing needed is the hammer, the AA one is better for a "perfect" fit, the CowCow one is a touch cheaper but has fitment issues with the Mamba uppers if you ever strayed that way.
 
Other that that, nothing is needed on these pistols. They'll happily hop up to 0.4's out the box with no mods. Sure you can upgrade the barrel for small % improvements in grouping at range and you can stick H plates under the hop arm to hop heavier ammo and you can short stroke for a mega ROF. None of it is really needed, they are a fantastic pistol......kinda makes me want to buy one again.

@AlphaBear looks like a gen2 hammer. So stock and still just as chocolatey. Get one of the CNC ones in there and the problems go away.

Ive grown very fond of the “surprised Pikachu” face on people when a guy pops out from behind a tree and tags them from comfortably out of range of their AEGs with a pistol. Makes me feel warm and tingly inside  The Limcat especially seems to send Geoff’s 0.36’s a long way in a straight line.

Steve, Kyle is the bad influence. Every time I buy something I think is pretty swish, he sends me a picture of something rare, discontinued or so nicely done that it puts me to shame! I couldn’t believe that even his grip safeties on the Silver and Gold Battlecat he did were AM, that thing must have cost a small fortune! 
 
Like you, as soon as AM have 4.3 STI frames. The Battlecat 4.3 is having one. With the Mi3D outerbarrel and the primary adaptor having a lightweight Guarder body, it’ll be a seriously lightweight build that’s going to be my dedicated indoor pew. You’ve made me have an epiphany regarding BB weight indoors, why am I shelling out on .28 Tracers when the max distance for a shot is going to be under 20m and without wind? As you’ve suggested, the reduction in time to target might even just give us the edge in the split-second nature of CQB
 
Very annoying to see AM’s Facebook update the other day was a valve tool and not the effing 4.3 slides.
 

Completely agree dude. There should be more availability now places are opening out a little more as well. I'm pretty pinned for the August month (kid duties as it's 6 weeks) but after that should be quite flexible. Maybe look for a site mid way between? Where abouts roughly are you as I'm Derbyshire based.
