  1. Internet team assemble... So I've got a broken NGRS MP5 here and it's blown a component which looks like a diode and I'm struggling to identify the numbers. If someone has better eyesight than me or has a MP5 board lying on their bench can you confirm the markings on the diode. So far I've got 30aS 1913 or 1915 30eS 1913 or 1915 306S 1913 or 1915 308S 1913 or 1915 30 something else S 1913 or 1915
  2. looks like orange mags are on there way. https://impulse101.jp/en/gbb-rifle-magazines/tokyo-marui-akm-akx-gbbr-bakelite-realskin-35rds-spare-gas-magazine-5809 Got to love TM's attention to detail including the proof house stamps and the colour/streaking looks spot on.
  3. What issues are you seeing with the DE mags? I've got 3 here and they all work fine but I've not spent a massive amount of time with them yet. I'm curious if the issues you are seeing are fixable.
  4. I've got one here. Initial impressions are it's a good copy of the MWS. Everything works as it should and the parts that need to be steel are steel. Negatives are it's very dry out the box and needs a good lub. I have a horrible high pitched ping from the recoil spring but I think a bit of lub will sort that out. The other thing to watch out for is the QC. I've found a few loose screws straight out the box so it's worth giving it a once over when you get one to make sure everything is tight. It might even be worthwhile using loctite on anything that is loose out the box. Also worth pointing out with mine that the FPS is very consistant with very little variation between shots which is nice.
  5. 43 shot Saiga 12K magazine. Takes a CYMA MP5 midcap (130bb's) inside and uses the other parts of the Saiga mag. I'm not sure if I'll get the full 43 shots per gas fill but I'll find out this weekend.
  6. well...this was meant to be a parts gun. I needed the internals for a project but looking at it I thought it could do with a different grip, stock and flash hider, then I thought maybe some accessories, oh and a bit of paint so now it's not a donor gun.
  7. UKMCPRO are shutting down and bargains to be had with up to 50% off stuff. https://ukmcpro.co.uk/?goal=0_7511e29801-90a17c6c49-28381917&mc_cid=90a17c6c49
  8. yes mate, your timing is exellent as I finished making 4 pairs last night. PM me if you want a pair.
  9. I have a simliar tale, didn't want to spend UK prices so about a week ago I got one from WGC for 363 quid shipped. When it turns up I'm expecting customs charges and if i'd only waited a week I could have picked it up from Bespoke for 350.
  10. I used the smoke silencer in anger today and had a blast. I really need to sort out a tracer as well as at one point I was in a dark corridor in a prison and firing semi with no idea if my BB's were hitting the target because of all the smoke and flash (this was a whole lot of fun and no I wasn't blind firing, I'd put the red dot on the target and fires a couple of BB's but fook knows if my BB's went on target as I couldn't see a thing because of the smoke and flash effect). Oh and I seem to have ended up with a Spectna Arms Mk18 with the Gate mosfet fitted.
  11. not for everyone but if someone is interested in a GBLS then you can pick one up for less than $1000 (about 770 quid minus shipping and import fees) from JKArmy. This is about $500 less than the normal price https://shop.jkarmy.com/gb001480307.html
  12. Pro's: it looks as cool as fuck with a few shots in semi there's a nice cloud forming at the muzzle but doesn't stink of cordite the amber light hitting the cloud gives a good flash effect it has 3 settings for volume and on the 3rd setting it pumps out quite a bit of smoke Con's: it has no practical purpose, a bit like an airsoft gun it doesn't have an on/off switch, you need to disconnect the battery it will run out of liquid, even with the 2 supplied bottles with it so a source of liquid will need to be found (mind you 1/16 scale RC tanks use the same liquid for the tank exhaust so shouldn't be hard to find). It doesn't have a tracer built in which is a shame. on that last point I'm going to fit the internals and a spitfire tracer into a long silencer to make it even cooler, just as soon as I can find the blooming thing. Even with a broken bone in my wrist at the moment, I'm going to fit it to my MK46 recoil on Sunday for shits & giggles.
  13. it's called a smoke wolf silencer and I bought it from top boost toys but I won't recommend them. I can't find it anywhere else but maybe you will. it looks like boost have a few other sites with boost in the name so be cautious. PXL_20230901_190130070_exported_stabilized_1693596207776.mp4
  14. well...you can't beat a good airsoft gimmick. Got to say this is more fun than it should be.
  15. Glad the glasses are working out for you. I just had to order another 20 fans as I can't make them fast enough at the moment.
  16. No it probably won't help. It would need to travel to the stomach and then take time to break down in same doses as it enters the bloodstream. Chewing an asprin is much better as you break it down quicker and likely to have more effect on the condition.
  17. the pin looks like 3 possible things, the pin from the G36 mag release, the rear lower receiver on a glock or the lower receiver gearbox pin from an M4
  18. next time you have it open snap a picture of the bottom board, in particular the square mosfet near the wiring solder points. I can't find a decent picture online but it looks like a 3503 mosfet maybe?
  19. And this is probably a good point to get across in this topic. Leave first aid to trained professional if at all possible. If they need your help they will ask for it. To give an example, an old bloke, not unlike myself, falls over and stops breathing. You arrive on the scene and decide to administer chest compressions after doing the ABC's. Now some of the older gentlemen on here will jump in with 15 and 2, some of the slightly younger peeps will go for straight compressions and the new kids on the block will be doing 30 and 2 as per the current guidelines. It turns out that it was in vain and the old fella never recovers. sad times all round. Now, the old fella was a top bloke but his family turn out to be arseholes. All 3 options above showed a willingness to preserve life but only 1 was concurrent with the latest guidelines so anyone doing either of the first 2 could be liable to a negligence claim. probably most of you reading this will be thinking, "I'd do it anyway" which is the right answer but just remember the world is full of arseholes. Also don't be handing out over the counter drugs to people as you have no idea of their medical history or what other medication they may have taken.
  20. Just go buy a MWS. get it out your system as they are really good. Just make sure you buy a Bavtac 140% nozzle return spring for when the TM one breaks (and it will eventually). Once you get over the MWS start to have a look at something a bit more exotic like the GHK Sig 552/553 or the Archwick ACP9K (on pre-order now it seems). I've been running mostly gas guns this summer and if you find yourself at UCAP vendetta then feel free to ask for a shot of the GHK 552, ACP9K G, TM AKX or whatever I've decided to try out that day.
  21. This is the one I use: https://grabcad.com/library/airsoft-gearbox-v2-g-g-1#! looking at your model it looks like the V2 will be too tall so you have to get creative
  22. apart from the missing parts, what's the actual fault with the pistol?
