  1. But the TM is bit vanilla. If they started doing Gucci versions, then yeah. Or just do a 416a5 MWS and then buy an island with the profits.
  2. It will copy the MWS in every way.... except for materials, dimensions, tolerances and QC Update: Back on sale: $455 shipped
  3. First time out in about a year due to covid, concussions, wife's car needing basically an engine swap etc... RIFT Comsite 2. Very sunny day but just enough of a breeze to cool you without making your shots curve like an Angelina Jolie movie. Lots of players on the deck, i'd say about 150ish. Land Rovers for both teams. Usual gripes of overshooting and hit taking (rentals and seasoned players alike), but due to the weather movements were generally stagnated and lead to teams being pinned down at either point. Until one team decided to do a 50 person attack and basically went from one end of the map to the other. Then with people running out of ammo/water/energy, headed to the car park and the other team countered in similar style. This was kind of the theme for the day of one team getting somewhere due to the other team waving a flag and heading to the safe area - which i don't blame them. I ducked out before the last game as I needed to get back home but the car park was about 80% full still which wasn't too bad. Only moan personally is the turn around time between games. The morning was 2 hour game before lunch, but getting people to the brief area took aaaaages. Personally i had a good day with one rifle that is fresh out of a tech's workshop starting to bed in and the r-hop finding it's groove. The single shot was a bit dodge with it firing a 2-3 round burst coming out of safe, but i think i need to fine tune the pre-cock and active break. New pistol was the tits, and the aliexpress shooters belt worked lovely. 8 fields pistol taco's, for a fiver each once adjusted were as tight as a conservative government helping a poor person,
  4. Am I going senile, but do crye pants have a waterproof gator bit around the ankles?
I think i remember my G2/AC pants having a waterproof ankle bit and a bungee thing to tighten, but after a year out, I can't remember if it was my good ones or cheap ones that did

Gen 1s had cordura around the ankles, which is waterproof generally.  Other than that one instance, nope, not at all.

I must be imagining it then. I just remember last year putting on some pants, and noticing that a draw-sting was missing inside one ankle, and not the other.

edit: it was indeed my cheaper ones. Which is odd as you would expect the super army soldier version to have it

Just to add to the pot of bubbling confusion I have a pair of OPS trousers from many moons ago and they have waterproof gators inside the ankles .

  5. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Hayden Not saying there's a correlational between people like that and tactical Thompsons, but I'm not, not saying it
  6. Should be fine over wires. Alternative that is a drop in fit without having to do stuff https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/tokyo-marui-rear-sling-adapter-rsa-for-recoil-m4sopmodtm416delta-ngen-next-gen
  7. The summer holidays, followed by the autumn of lightly upgraded and overpriced sniper rifles
  8. Yeah it was more thinking out loud more than a business idea. I suppose the easiest route would be to find a BTC mk2 or a couple of jefftron a and send them to be reversed engineered
  9. I know ngrs fet's are a different beast altogether, but apart from gearbox shape, what would stop them making one? The Titan is the current go-to for most, but a cheap mechanical fet to stop spamming lock ups (i think) would sell well

    THE TM MWS thread

Yep. TM mags do tend to piss gas everywhere when filling. Pop this over the inlet valve and push down with the gas filler nozzle, and hey presto, silent filling. If it's leaking from under the filler valve (which if new it shouldn't do, but could) they are simple enough to fix. You can even add a drop of silicon oil over the valve and that should feed down any gaps and expand the o-rings.

  12. The urge to get this is strong, and with a fixed stock and sure fire grip (damn you Dog Soldiers being in telly the other day) But itch scratched with a TM FNX. Also - whoever the fuck designed these mags, I hope you step on a plug
  13. I really shouldn't have watched dog soldiers last week....
  14. Wow, a 25 year old rifle in a fancy frock for £900. I might contact the seller, I have a bridge to sell.
  15. Looked at the price, thinking it would be a longsword build or full shebang. Nope, just the price of buying it new.
  16. Now now, lets not have a go at her. Especially when you have such a colossal bellend of a target in the first place.
  17. I just... just... can't... what? https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/11-gun-bundle-sale-or-swap-lots_i39366
  18. At that price, not surprised it’s limited https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/spring-powered_2/limited-edition-srs-sniper-rifle-90-100m-range_i39215
  19. Big in Japan still, but dont really bother with international markets nowadays
  20. I remember when these and WA were the only 1911 style pistols. Pre hi-capa and WE days. But WA were too nice to skirmish and JAC too expensive. So i went with a KSC USP compact, and loved it (around 2002-2003 i think)
  21. Any recommendations for G3 cut trousers, that come with the option for leg length apart from Crye themselves?
  22. Its still going, if you know where to look https://echigoya-tokyo.jp/products/list.php?name=boys
  23. This thread is unlocking long dormant parts of my brain.
