First game back today and it was fun ! My take on a BHD ranger , yes I know that colour of BDU’s is much later but I couldn’t find my period correct ones ! ?‍♂️ and just for Shits’n’giggles me and my bud taking a breather on patrol in the ‘Mog’ ??

Again nothing toooooo epic , First game back this coming Sunday , SOOOO question is what to take ? decisions decisions ! ? At this point best bud who I’m going with pops up and says “let’s do a BHD loadout , we haven’t done a ‘film sim’ in years !” Ok I can dig that , he then says “let’s go rangers every dog and his mother does DELTA” yea a VERY true point there . Got most of the kit bar the helmet so I got a choc chip cover for a mich2000 I had squeezed it on but doesn’t look right to me SO yet another expenditure on kit !?‍♂️ Luckily not a great one as USMCPRO has a good sale on and picked up a cheapo M88 for not a lot of ? tokens . Got rid of the horrible black chinstrap , made a new more accurate one in Olive . happy now(ish) ! One does so hate being a Geardo ! ?

Cheapo M88 helmet , choc chip cover , dust goggles and ‘cats eyes’ band for a BHD loadout .

I’d say this fine chap sponged the colours on , could be totally and utterly wrong but if pressed that’s what I’d put my money on .

One of the biggest reasons they Say this seems to be letting the buyer choose the delivery method instead of setting it them selves wether by parcelfarce/ Royal fail or Hermies/etc me I just do Royal Mail/Parcelfarce as my preference for who I’ll send via and that’s that you want anything else ? Similar event for me , got one of the briefcase sized divided boxes to put all my hundreds of dremel bits’n’bobs in spent a good few hrs transferring from half a dozen different packs and kits and what not so there all neatly sectioned off by use and then couple o wks ago I decided to balance it in the corner of the breakfast bar while I did a piddly little job and promptly knocked it off and there’s Dremel shit everywhere ! So yes I am a knobhead ! ?‍♂️

Not a particularly epic make just a small alteration to make a rig more useful to me . I’m not a great user of pistols always carry one but vary rarely extra mags so the ones you often find on rigs aren’t much use to me . Bought a mini rig of @lucaslu1709on theses very forums (cheers bud?) which had two pistol mag pouches on the front , so split the two centre seams on the elastic , stripped the webbing panels off the front of the pouches then stitched two sections of elastic to make one single and used the shock cord from the top of the pistol pouches to make the bottom retainer . Simples !

Famous last words ! ?‍♂️??? with coloured kit try washing it inside out and at a lower temp , will help the colour last longer ?

And because who ever has changed the inner hasn’t shortened it so you can’t actually run it with out the bloody suppressor on it ! As to the ‘custom paint job’ was it done by a professional painter(can’t see Geartech mentioned any where) ? Where the paints individually Mixed just for him ? Think it’s safe to say as if ! so no it’s not a ‘custom paint job’ All he’s done is just lay a scrim net on it and given it a couple of squirts with a rattle can ! ?‍♂️
