  1. Fair enough. As I said, it's cool asking if they're any good (protective, comfy side of things). But aesthetically, it's up to you. I've added that suit to my list.
  2. Are views should mean bugger all to you. Unless it's saying "don't get this item because they are unreliable" it's a matter of perference, if you like the colour green, but I like the colour orange, and you say "what colour helmet should I get" and I say "an orange one" well, that's stupid, as you won't like it. And you've just agreed to some random guy on the internet. It's a matter of preference, otherwise, I guess asking for views on what items are good. As in comfortable, protective etc is a good idea. But on the aesthetically pleasing side of things, it's your choice. One thing I would say, is, a balaclava and a helmet, it might get a bit hot and sweaty. I'm sidetracking, you obviously have to buy what I say. This is a good bit of kit, all weather kit, makes you feel like you're in Mexico, also it blends in with the surroundings (as long as you play airsoft in a hat shop) uhh what else... Apparently, you can amaze your guests with this item of war. Well that's a bonus. http://www.partyrama.co.uk/sombrero-straw-hat-single-assorted-colour/?gclid=CKimw8G5qsoCFcgYGwodmYEJig#fo_c=488&fo_k=2138a05c23d9f2716271b0220513fa40&fo_s=gplauk
  3. "Combat Action Games" it's in Norfolk I believe, near thetford possibly. I don't know if you've been there, or live near, thanks for helping anyways!
  4. I'm trying to broaden my sites that I'll play at, as I often find the day I want to play I have a football match or something like that. So is this site any good? Any one been? Thanks.
  5. I own a VSR, it's stock model atm, but will soon be upgraded. If you do buy a TM VSR, first thing you'll notice is that the FPS is like 280-290. This is due to laws over in japan, (where they're made I think) or whatever country they're made in, the law is that a gun can't shoot over 300 FPS or something like that.. With 0.2s. So you'll most likely want to upgrade... 2 main upgrade paths. Mancraft SDiK (took me a while to realise this was the way forward) Or the spring route. (Spring, piston, spring guide, trigger etc) I'm sure most people who have TM VSR's will either recommend the SDiK or the spring route. From people who I've talked to, most have either said "yeah go down the mancraft route" or "I'm p*ssed that I chose to fully upgrade my internal parts and didn't go down the mancraft route" Goodluck my friend. EDIT: another problem you'll realise, is that the upgrading will take all your money (lol)
  6. Grrrr, haven't played airsoft in a while. Waiting up for those upgrades, then I'll play... I don't like the wait ;(

Well yes, very true, but not much cash going out, could quickly change for ME if I play an airsoft game. It's only 20 pound or so, but when you want to save up, spending 20 pounds is like saving up for a BMW and buying a fiat..

  7. That's what we like to hear good job my friend.
  8. Buy whichever, the other gun will come soon down the line.. Honestly, just buy the one you like... Unless the other one is significantly better (but I have no experience in pistols)
  9. You must've seen me on a game day then... Jokes, of course not... I bring 3 .-.
  10. Maybe that is a problem. I'll start a thread about it immediately! Alright, I'll look into the biro mod, I've heard about it somewhere, maybe even seen a vid on it. Yes, I was slightly worried about mixing and matching brands, probably comes from when I was upgrading my pc, I didnt want any bottlenecks... I actually emailed Gunman Airsoft just to ask them about the SDiK stuff, I told them it's possible to switch about with the FPS. See what they say, and I'll get a tournament lock, I think I might aswell get one anyways... They're like 50 polish watsits. That's like 10 pound or so. Thanks again.
  11. Thanks again proffrink. The only problem I can see is buying bulbs. But, I suppose I could buy in bulk. And that should last me. It's good seeing you can just do a little twist in the regulator and the cold gas problem is abolished. For those big tanks with which guns, well they were mainly with auto guns. This is my list, for when I choose to do this mancraft thing. SDiK conversion kit for TM VSR non 90 degree version Regulator CO2 adapter Maybe some o rings, just in case. Extras (still good though): Soft bucking, just one of the top brandy ones... 6.05 barrel, same as bucking, just a top brand one. I still believe I may need a hop arm to lift those heavier BBs. P.S it would be quite cool if you could link me to the CO2 bulbs seller, that'd be great. Thanks for the help. It's much appreciated
  12. Thanks proffrink. It really does sound quite good, seeming as you can keep the stock spring and trigger aswell as the cylinder. So you have a bulb, which holds the gas. These sort of things http://www.airgundepot.com/2311.html but isn't it right, co2 isn't the best in cold weather? As the cold slows particle movement down. Resulting in low pressure? Or is it that in this setup it doesn't muck up like that. But if I wanted to use HPA, would I have to have HPA bulbs (if that's a thing lol) or a large HPA tank? I've seen people with large tanks full of some sort of gas, does this mean they have no bulb in their regulator? This seems pretty cool, but only worry is, in england it's cold, so there's a co2 problem there I think... Unless it doesn't apply in this setup for some reason. Thanks once again.
  13. You keep telling me to go mancraft kit. So I will take it into account. I'd like to know a few things though. So this mancraft kit, is it just using some sort of gas? Would I need to lug about some sort of massive tank? Basically how does it work? What does it not need etc. it's not the most common thing on the web. And would it be just as good performance? It's quite a lot to answer, but I need some help. Thanks
  14. Alright thanks for that. It probably does make sense to go prom barrel and prom bucking.. Is there a best size, for range and accuracy on the barrel? Thanks
  15. Oh, it's a springer. A TM VSR pro
  16. Hey, I'm upgrading my sniper soon, and I was going to chuck in a 6.03 barrel. I think 6.03 is the right choice (from what I've read), for further range and accuracy. If anyone has better ideas for barrels in use for accuracy and range let me know. But I was looking at some things and people said stuff like "finally got that hop unit, can now use my ORGA barrel" this sounded to me as if there are compatibility issues with certain types of hop unit and barrel. So, I was thinking to just keep the stock hop chamber, new hop rubber, Prometheus soft. And a 6.03 barrel, I believe PDI do some.. So would I need a new hop chamber, or can I keep the same one. Or just bugger the whole thing and keep the stock barrel.
  17. Hire a gun, wear some ankle supported boots, some cargo trousers,t-shirt and a hoodie, full face mask, some BBs you're ready to play, gogogo
  18. Yeah, I'd say accessorising is the better word. I agree with you, adding an optic for example would potentially help. Or adding a foregrip could make the gun look cool.
  19. Really? I bought an ICS M4 at 200 quid, I have used it, and I'm not going to upgrade it (internally), I have out an optic on it, but, I'd call that an accessory. Unless you want to have slightly better accuracy, from maybe a better hop unit. But say you bought a 340 FPS gun, with what ever range, if you wanted to upgrade range through the FPS, you might aswell not bother, as you risk breaking that 350 FPS limit most sites have. (Of course some sites will vary, but it's generally around 350) If I was going to upgrade my M4, it would probably be DIY stuff. Teflon taping, air seal etc. I wouldn't spend money on upgrades for an AEG that is pretty decent (200 pound ish) just because if it plays well in game, and is fairly accurate, i wouldn't spend money, as I'd find there's no need, when I was having fun skirmishing. I bought a 200 pound gun, I will not be upgrading it. However, my VSR sniper, I will be upgrading that..
  20. I know that you most likely know this by now.. But eyepro is the most important thing. You only have 2 eyes, if you lose them, you won't be popping into ASDA to buy a new pair.. For clothing - I used to want to get proper military clothing, vests, helmets etc etc - but, all I run is these Camo coloured trousers, in the colour of dark greens and dark browns. Some hiking boots, some t shirt, and a green fleece from an outdoors shop. You can carry mags in trouser pockets, but some prefer not, so they invest into a vest with pouches. For mags, I'm a scum bag and I use a high cap (they came with the gun) On a (so very) serious note: you'll be wanting to carry atleast 5 high caps, as when you see the enemy, you'll be wanting to let rip all 450 BBS in your magazine, as this is quite clearly the only way to get your target. (I forgot, when you've shot 40 BBs or so you'll have to rewind your mag, so, well, you may look like a plonker, deciding to be like " rahhhh " then "oh sh*t, wait" it doesn't matter though, just rewind that sucker, and then let rip again. Spraying all your BBs across the map. And also, if you want this to work, you'll have to buy a vest with 10 pouches, if you own an M4 you'll be wanting AK mags in your pouches too, just to look like a l33t 0p3rat0r. And one of those legitimate gun sound emitters are quite obviously necessary for airsoft, as airsoft isn't a game, it's war right? Oh, also, a reason to have high-caps is because, they make a noise that will just annoy everyone, but also gives away your position, it may give away your position, but it results in more enemies coming closer to you, therefore, you get more airsoft kills. ugh. On an actual note, people will say that you have to wear vests to be cool/good/ a l33t 0p3rat0r etc, well they're wrong. Don't listen to them, it's more of a "I like that thing, I'll buy it" not a "this will let me murk everyone on the field", vests and accessories (I like to call them) is your choice, it's not a requirement. Just enjoy the game and have fun, that's the best way to play airsoft.
  21. Drones are good IDEAS. But when I play airsoft I like the proper military feel to it all, I'm sure other people like that sort of feel to it too. Drones seems futuristic IMO, people will have objections, that's what's good about ideas and thoughts. As you may know, technology advances this is evident over the last 250 years where we have really advanced from wooden clubs and wooden tables, now at large rockets which can fly over to the moon! What I'm saying is that drones in airsoft, will soon advance to something else, I don't know what. Air strikes in airsoft? It's mad I know, but technology advances (we already have air strike capabilities, but I'm thinking more for airsoft). I know this thread wasn't stating wether it was good or not, but here's my opinion aha.
  22. Wanting to play a game of airsoft, but, got my VSR to upgrade. I want to play a game, but the same time, I want to buy upgrades for the gun. This gives me sleepless nights..

I know that feel bro been wanting to skirmish for ages but gun could do with new LiPos and charger. Should have bought em ages ago but spent my money on unnecessary stuff rather than upgrading / maintaining guns n now I have time and cash to do it I can't right yet

  23. This. If you want the ULTIMATE speedy loadout. aka the sonic loadout. You'd mostly want as minimal kit as possible. As kit (plate carriers, helmets, pouches etc) is weight. Weight will slow you down. When I play, since I have pockets in my trousers, that's where I store my mags. It's not a nuisance. Also, helmets, I'm not a fan of either, as I seem unbalanced when using them, and they just are annoying... But plenty of people think they're good. If your desire is to have helmets and plate carriers, make sure the plate carrier is nice and tight. Make sure the size is right.
  24. A tip for the forum. If you want to know the answer to something. Search it on the forum first. If you post a thread, but there's already a thread on it, you'll get a bollocking... But, you should be fine.. Chances are they'll answer it anyway (we usually do) It's a good forum this, you'll like it
