  1. Thank you sp00n, isn't the TM hop normally quite good? Nevertheless I'll probably add that to the upgrade list.
  2. Yes, I do understand how it is a good tuning kit. But, I'm not spending that much in a single purchase. Also, as this is my first sniper rifle, and it will be my first time upgrading, I'd quite like to buy parts separate, and due to me being a teenager, I don't have much money. And so the plan is to buy maybe a couple of upgrades a month and do the rifle up over time. Plus, it is all part of the fun upgrading, I'm looking forward to it all. But thanks for your input.
  3. Emailed fire support, as I tend to go with fire support now on, as I've never had a bad experience from them, and told them to get their stuff in stock. May not work, but worth a go.
  4. Probably won't be making the trip then lol. Unless I walk there, I would spend more money on travel then the items I buy. Then getting there to realise there's no trigger stocked there.
  5. I'll have you know, I worked hard for the money I have. I'm not at all a teenager who feeds off my parents, as myself AND my parents think it is bad to give money to their kids for slacking about. Any money I earn is either worked for, or, well, any potential birthday money I have. I am certainly not the sort who says to their parents "yo, could I have 20 quid". But, on the other half, I agree, I should really look for reviews or compare with the high end models. I'll have a look into where their shop is, and see if it is possible to make the travel. Thanks.
  6. Ah, ok, thanks. I think I'll buy the whole set, and use the spring, guide, trigger, and piston, hopefully the parts are decent.
  7. I know... old but gold.
  8. Doesn't the 90 degree trigger from airsoft pro come with a spring, and a piston and guide? And I'm not sure, as I'm reasonably new to airsoft, but isn't the zero trigger the same as the airsoft pro trigger? Thanks.
  9. Ah right. I was looking at some earlier. Definately going to use those ones.
  10. Weapon of destruction. P* has met its match. (From a video on YT)
  11. Ah, I'll be starting my upgrades by doing the zero trigger and piston first.. Probably the most expensive upgrade..
  12. PT247, I'm probably going to upgrade the trigger and piston first. (90 degree piston and trigger) did you buy the two as a pair, or as two separate parts. And cheers dex, you going to upgrade any further?
  13. Yeah, aha, reading my original post, I made it seem as if you mount optics on the rear stock.
  14. Meant to say fixed carry handle soz. I think I'm now generally known as the noob of this forum.
  15. The gun - has a fixed stock apparently, may be something you want to watch out... Wether it is actually fixed on, I don't know, but it does say. Just saying, maybe you want a scope/red dot. EDIT: carry handle* not stock .-.
  16. If I can actually find one in stock, I'll be upgrading this lil guy. I know there are thousands of guides on how to upgrade, but, I'm not fussed about them, I've read a lot of them, and are all very useful. But, I'd like to know what owners of this gun (or anyone who knows something) have done to their gun. I know the FPS is very low, due to the Japanese laws I believe. And, I hear the hop up is quite good. Any feedback/tips are good. Thanks for taking the time to read.
  17. Ugh fek... If your sniping, a wider bore is best, instead of a 6.01 diameter, change to a 6.05 if sniping, this is because, with a wider bore, the bb has more air around it, so the backspin on the bb is more consistent. This is all knowledge I have looked up and researched. Thanks.
  18. Ipswich town, the home of exciting football... Not.
  19. I found breathing out my nose really helped... My goggles steamed up, so after the game I wiped them, then proceeded for the next game to breathe out my nose, worked like a charm
  20. Thinking of buying this gun. The things I am probably going to upgrade are, the barrel, the spring but I think the spring is quite powerful, if I upgrade, I'll upgrade the cylinder & head.. Just thought I'd let you know good luck with your gun Edit: I don't actually think you'll need to upgrade the cylinder, as you won't be firing too quick, unless the cylinder is broken or worn down... Maybe the piston could be an upgrade, as I think you're using a powerful spring, as I'm pretty sure the gun comes with a powerful spring..
  21. LOL, i am so stupid, I was trying to say, that it was clear that the gun was a single shot type gun, sniper etc
  22. Ah right, THANK GOD! Haha. To me, a 14 year old, I have a basic understanding of it, and I'm 14... People should be able to get to grips with it... But anyways.. The only thing, which is good for people who own snipers is that they have powerful guns, which breach that limit, but they have a rule, of 20 meter minimum engagement. But their guns have to be like designated DMRs or snipers.
  23. It seems to me, technically, the limit should be in joules? If a sites limit is 328 FPS (0.2g bbs) then, the joule limit is 1.00. Therefore, if to use 0.25g bbs in game, the FPS will be lower BUT whatever FPS you use, It has to be under or on 1.00 joules. And based on that chart - if you used 0.25g bbs, the limit you could use, would be 290 FPS as that is 0.98 joules, which is under the limit of 1 joule for that site. Ladies and gentlemen, I may have hit bullseye.
  24. Yeah, I'll research more, as I agree with you that I am taking a gamble at everything. Last game I played (last Saturday) was at gunman tuddenham, brilliant site, great marshals, fixed a problem with my gun's trigger jamming, due to I think the gears not tight enough (something like that) I understand buying a gun that is meant to be a DMR is better, but, I don't particularly want to invest in another stock weapon. Also just to clear up about this pain business, one point in the game, I was near someone not seen, and I walked up to him and said surrender, I could've shot him. But, I really am not about pain and all.. EDIT: Thanks prof, that image helped me understand. It makes sense, if I was to shoot someone with a bb that weighed a ton (example, not possible) it would hurt a lot, but with a 0.2g it doesn't hurt. At the game on Saturday, there was this sniper, he had about 450 FPS on his weapon, and I think was using 0.4s so his FPS was lower with 0.4s was lower, and he was told he could only engage at 20meters minimum, can't be closer. Which makes sense, shooting someone with a 0.4g bb @360 FPS or so from 5 meters would hurt a lot. I guess if I took the crono, and I used 0.3g bbs and got a reading of 350 FPS, I'd be told only to engage at minimum 20 meters. This would be fine. As the point was to make the m4 into more of a DMR.
  25. Jeez guys, no need to be so harsh...I'm knew to airsoft, and I enjoy the game and I would like to learn about it. But, sorry for being dumb.. Maybe I'm just not right. Anyways, thanks for bothering to reply. Sorry.
