  1. Well, the gun I use is a CXP, so it's small and the EOTECH takes most of first rail place. Its right up close to where the iron sights should be, and, being small, I have the stock retracted, I think I'm way too close lol. I'll try being further back lol. Thanks.
  2. I never use two eyes. It just seems to be wrong... I can't seem to get the right angle sort of thing. He was talking about ALL 1x optics right? I'm using an eotech replica. Oh well. Maybe it's because I get too close to the optic..
  3. Those peltor ear defenders, I've been looking at them for a while. The headband thing that connects the two ear mufflers together looks too thin and flimsy. I've never used them, so are they actually flimsy? Or are they strong, and won't snap. Since you use them for airsoft, I'm assuming they probably won't break. Thanks.
  4. Hey, as title says.. : Baseball cap Eye protection Mouth mesh guard Headsock/balaclava Some sort of ear protection. Anyone wearing this sort of thing?
  5. Oh lord. You have a nice budget there, just for the airsoft gun? Or for BBs, face mask etc If just for the airsoft gun, for around 200 ish you can get yourselves a nice ICS gun (I actually have one, and from what I can say, is fairly good, had on problem but, sorted that out.) http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-metaltan-m4-ris-airsoft-gun-aeg that's the one I have, I also have another ICS gun, but it's a different model. Or, G&G do a lot of the m4 type guns, but they call them combat machines - I think. http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/ics-metaltan-m4-ris-airsoft-gun-aeg there are loads of G&G guns to look at, I'm sure someone else on here has some good ideas. I'm sure someone will give a better gun than what I have suggested, just look at some other G&G weapons, maybe from zeroone. Good luck EDIT: if not, just watch the football, leicester are on fire atm.
  6. Super Bowl thing tonight? Never watched it, infact never watched that NFL business. Is it worthy of a watch? Apparent

  7. Thanks cheese, I know how it worked, was just unsure on some things, thanks for helping out on what bulb mode was, I had no clue what that function was. I'll head out tommorow, maybe take some long exposure sea pics or star trails... I don't know Thanks a lot.
  8. I am lol. I'm planning to take a picture of a star trail, which will need some photoshop editing.. But, should be good. One thing I've realised is that for this picture, I'll need the camera taking constant pictures for 30 minutes. The shutter speed will be at 30 sec, aperture and ISO will be set. So after the first picture is taken, the camera will need to take another pic, and so on, till 30 minutes or so have gone by. How can I get the camera to keep taking pictures, I know there's like some remote things, but meh. If I hold the 'take the picture' button for 30 mins that would work right? I'd use duct tape to hold it down maybe.. Thanks.
  9. Bought these at the start of airsoft. From fire support. When I mean "are they any good" I'm talking protection wise, will they shatter, anyone had them shatter on them? I think they're fine for airsoft, but I'm not sure. Thanks http://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/guarder-x800-type-goggles
  10. Before anyone says the usual "airbana" stuff. I've looked there, and had a look through the sites around east anglia. Ones I've played at are tuddenham and ravens. I prefer tuddenham and because of this, I only really want to play games at tuddenham, ravens is just a massive forest, and I never seem to get any action. What other decent sites are there in east anglia? Anyone know of some sites that you play/played at? Thanks.
  11. Might just call the "waiting for money to upgrade my vsr" to a halt. I can't love like this anymore lol. I will probably play a game...

Was shooting an apple yesterday with it..

  12. But anyone remember how a good ole school was like, this is how it went "you hit me, so I hit you" "You burn my badge, I shoot you with a high RoF gun" You know..
  13. LOL the funniest thing I've seen in ages. Especially timed well with the amount of Star Wars I've been watching due to the new one that came out.. ADD: though it's not really necessary, but what can I say, I laughed...
  14. It sounded to me as if you were saying you had to be 16 to have a debit card.
  15. If you're saying you have to be 16 for a debit card. You're wrong.
  16. I bought a gun from firesupport once. I think you know, I'm not over 18.. Can't they check the age by your debit card? Well.. The gun was delivered to my door, so..

    UKARA Question

    Thank you very much.

    UKARA Question

Hey guys, I realised, months before I attempted airsoft, my brother bought a RIF, to play with, he bought it second hand... He wasn't signed up to UKARA, or wasn't on the UKARA database, so he owns a RIF without a UKARA number, if I go to a skirmish, will the airsoft site ask "have you got a UKARA number" or will they ask us? We are in process in getting the UKARA, but, it takes time. Thanks.
  19. One thing to bear in mind. Is it's quite an expensive sport.. You'll probably end up buying a gun, presuming you like airsoft, then you'll want either a different type of gun, different model, maybe a different style of gun (sniper, DMR) then upgrades. Then you break something, then you fix it, then you break again, then you buy a new gun, then you want scopes, red dots.. But, it's great fun, I find that I can't play too often, as I'm waiting for some money to buy of which is essentially an 'upgrade', so I just set up some cans in the garden... That's generally fun, and gets some use out of the guns.. Welcome to airsoft and the forums, it's a good place to be, and a good forum to be in. Have fun.
  20. Yeah, haha, made me laugh. What I should of made this whole thread about is, "do you think this setup of clothing would be good" not "here's a chance to ruin me, and call me a ponce" lol.. Thinking - a UBACS top with a baselayer (under armour thing, but no padding) and a fleece, this way, I stay warm, I will definately feel my hits, and still get hurt. As I think that feeling of 'I know what it feels like to be hit' makes you play more sneaky.. Instead of running in like a banana out of its skin.. I probably won't invest in a PC.. Yeah, I don't know when I'll next be at a tuddenham game... Waiting for some money to get this SDiK for the vsr. Otherwise you'll see a 5ft 2 inches dude with a ICS CXP.. Hopefully I'll see some guys at tuddenham next game... Potentially see you there, are you regularly playing there now? I remember you had your first match there like a month ago or something.. Thanks again.
