Purchased & installed this riser for the CTR. Comes with 2 separate risers (lower one installed).

Decided to purchase a CTR stock and buffer tube. With a little DIY, I've managed to fit it to my PDW, whilst retaining the side folding capability.
 
EDIT: Realised that the stock wasn't entirely straight, but I have since rectified that issue. The stock/buffer tube is now very firmly on there, without any permanent modification being done.

Not sure how big the picture is gonna come out but here it is at the moment!

Unfortunately, the upper/lower is made specifically for the PDW which is why it's a little more tricky to do. The lower is designed to take the folding stock instead of a buffer tube. It's a nice concept, but the stock makes the rear end of the gun look very unfinished and there is no adjustment options (aside from folded or non folded)

ebay is probably your friend here - look for closed cell foam sleeve, or neoprene sleeve.

There's almost nothing you can buy on Evike that you can't buy from continental Europe or Asia - It's cheaper to look east for purchases the majority of the time. USPS have a bad reputation for things of great expense never arriving in the UK when they come from across the Atlantic. I frankly trust EMS and others more than I do them.
 
Unless you want some of those knock-off PDI designs that Angel Custom make do some deeper Googling. Evike have good SEO and pop up frequently at the top, but that absolutely doesn't mean they're the cheapest or have the biggest range. UNCompany and DENTrinityshop are great examples of sites that never come up in search results but stock things almost no other retailer does. Same goes for European websites - most aren't natively in English so Google doesn't show them nearly as high as American websites, so you need to be savvy and get onto the 7th and 8th pages quite often to find the good stuff.
 
Also using Google advanced search tools, looking up product IDs and part numbers (rather than what you think the name is). It's all experience, but I can assure you that buying from the US is almost always a dumb idea (especially when they're producing close to 0 of this stuff themselves anyway).

So, I finally switched the HPA!
I bought a custom made drum magazine for the Vector, Ninja LPR regulator and a HPA tank (no idea what make!). Do excuse the lack of optics, I am currently in the process of obtaining something along the lines of an EOTech 55 series. Got a few more bits I want to buy for this, but I am very pleased!

Bought a KWA Kriss Vector with 3 mags, a Madbull SOCOM stock and a 335mm suppressor! I plan to get the suppressor with the integrated inner barrel to put on my Vector (heard the FPS shoots up! Makes the gun fire hot though so not for skirmishes). But yeah!

Having the same issue with a hicap pmag in my Raider. Guess I'll give this a shot!

It doesn't matter whether it's hpa, split gearbox, quick change spring, adjustable spring, gas type, there will always be easy ways to "tweak" a gun's power, but it's not the tool's fault, it's the players. Cheaters who want to hurt other's should be removed not the tools.
 
Any site that bans a type of gun which can be used to facilitate 'easier' cheating should be boycotted.

they are everywhere, most in my mancave - kids old playroom next to garage
most still in their box or have kept boxes so stacked up (high)
my son has his own little armoury in his room
(basically anything really good some how finds its way up there)

7 FH's - well it was the first RIF I bought after ukara and we both wanted one when we first saw it
so LWA ballsed up my order so Mack pointed me to Pro Airsoft and I bought 2 of them....
a while later Airsoft World had one left at a slightly cheaper price than others so bought that
 
Then after a good month at work and selling some consoles I thought lets buy 3 - yes 3 from Z1
thinking I might pop down there with a free skirmish voucher to offset against silly purchase
 
turns out those later 3 were the toned down version that fires slower than the original FH's - damn it
really like the TopTech original FH's but got 3 lesser FH's I later found out
still a nice gun but after that the novelty of the dinky m4 wore off so it was a silly daft purchase
only bought the hc05 coz I felt compelled to get the new one to see how good it is - not great btw
 
So with my luck on breaking things - which has improved a little btw
I still set my limit on any gun to £150 (dsg was £155 and think a mk18 was £155 but £150 from Airsoftworld)
I ain't good at this stuff - I really suck at it, but I like to break and mess with stuff
I wouldn't do that to a TM but then I probably wouldn't buy a TM coz I know I'd probably just make it worse

3 x 1st run TopTech FireHawk's - stock as is though 1 has new better bucking
3 x regular FireHawk's with slower gearing - 1 has been around a bit lower, as receiver & box swapped about a lot in other G&G models
1 x HC05 DSG - tweaked to 40rps on 7.4v - still no semi coz G&G didn't do it right or use Riot/SHS/Modify gears
(not buying any more FH's - certainly not the dsg one)
yeah - got carried away on that one I know - but not saying any more.....

As mentioned, airsoft players love talking about their loadouts (costs quite a bit and it gives an opportunity to talk about what they've done). Another interesting way is to have a pretty interesting loadout yourself! Although this is quite unnecessary, it will still turn heads if you've got something that looks pretty unique (in a good way). Maybe a few will come over and ask about it, just like what you could possibly do with them. Once you start really looking into guns, you can see just how different they really are, which makes interesting conversation.
 
Best of luck with you! I too have no friends interested in airsoft (they have decided to spend their money monster PCs for gaming, or drugs... The latter being the people I don't usually talk to anymore, why buy drugs when you can get airsoft stuff!). Sure, curiosity is sparked when they see my guns but the price throws them off.
 
It is fine to go alone, but try to start some small talk or something - it is easy with airsoft players. Just walk up and compliment their gun :L
