  1. being newish to this, the read was interesting, at least i know there is a reason behind them.....just thought it was some gimmick like car bumper stickers with the amount ive seen on websites!! wouldn't mind a few action shots, let me know if and when your at Urban Assault or Tuddenham, i'll dress up a lttle better!
  2. ok that's the sling ordered!....just need my weapon now!....im like a fat ninja with foam swords....look the part but cant hurt anyone!

Then you get gun and realise that some of the kit is not quite right, then see some other bits you like the look of, want to tweak your loadout, see a discount code...lol

  3. and another!....saves new topics! These have been out a while but are these rails available anywhere?, not had much luck yet? http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/topic/191367-review-mtek-fast-g3ag3ct3c-facial-armor-system/ http://www.airsoft2day.com/news/454-airsoft-face-protection-the-fast-t3c.html
  4. that will do....think ive got some vouchers/codes to try! completely forgot to look on their site thanks for that cheers, i thought i had seen one before, just wasnt sure if it would fit. might try the tape idea and see how i get on
  5. sorry another question.... pressure pads....how would you fit this one? just some velco or tape can you get grips with a universal groove to fit this in? http://www.torchdirect.co.uk/xtar-accessories/xtar-pressure-switch.html already have the torch for other no airsoft reasons so this would be ideal instead of a new one
  6. ok looks like i'll be sticking with my lower mesh it seems this was the helmet thing i mentioned http://www.airsoftpeak.com/airsoft-helmet-armour-protective-face-mask-with-velcro-multicam-p-9915.html and wear a mouth guard as well for additional protection on the off chance i ge one slip through... a guy wore one at UA last time, said it was great, never had a problem, im just cautious!
  7. post here instead of a sling topic! looking for a single point sling i guess (is that the term) i can run from my back plate for my 901 chest rig, up, through the shoulder or attached to the shoulder strap and down the front....bascailly fixed to the back via MOLLE loop, up and over... or something similar, just to hold the AEG
  8. Yeah they use those masks at urban for hire guns Few guys from FART Inthink, I tagged onto wore them last game, seemed to be ok And an addition to my purchase with the scope haha
  9. Chees guys, I'll keep playing with my mesh mask, it's the v2 one or something, with ear pro as well, it's just the nose annoying me a bit but I'll go to b&q and look around, may also be I had it to tight on my head..... I'll try it a bit more before next game, prefer the mask/google pro but good to hear what the alternatives are like.....plus helps other noobs
  10. just though id let you know, those lights are no longer there...well they maybe but the A11 is dual now from Barton Mills! nope ,wont be off to Norwich this weekend. Tuddenham next month i hope
  11. wondered that, just a cheap one from sports direct, sounds too easy, wasn't sure is anything to look out for? or avoid? eyes and teeth, wanna keep them
  12. i know, full face masks are good.... but a lot of you just wear glasses....and we have goggle fogging etc.... so for you that dont protect your face as much as you prefer glasses for the comfort, do you use a mouth guard??, if so, any particular ones? only ask as at the moment i have the lower face\ear pro and mesh goggles but finding in a bit un-comfy on the nose so looking at alternatives like glasses and just lower face mask or goggles etc also the face guard you fit to the FMA/Viper/Emerson helmets ive seen look to aid in deflecting bb's....but then worried i WILL get hit in the mouth, its the law of the sod!!, but i could then wear glasses and not have the fogging and nose comfort issue??.... mmm decisions!
  13. planning on using Tuddenham as my regular site soon as there are sunday games!. Plus they have a loyalty scheme and other bits that help out had a good chat with someone whose name ive forgotten and cant access the email, and has sold it to me really like the idea of the fun milsim type events they also hold
  14. email the guys here enquiries 'AT 'gunmanairsoft.co.uk i was worried about that as well, but its not as serious as you think, they have a medic game and also ask you to bring some other items of cloths so you can swap teams but other than that sounds pretty much like fun! This is a reply i got back when i asked a few questions.... Our open milsim weekends are designed as an introduction to milsim, rather than a full on one. As such, hire guns, two tone guns and hi-cap magazines are welcome, all we ask is that you try and role-play a bit (shouting "aaargh!" instead of hit etc and be a bit more tactical in the way you play, as well as trigger discipline (short controlled bursts or single shots rather than spray and pray). We also try if possible to use camo for team ID instead of tape or armbands. This does require that people are flexible in what they wear, although if it's a problem we do revert to tape. So im in
  15. if anyone asks i spent £3.82 at Firesupport......

    1. Sitting Duck

      Sitting Duck

This is where it gets interesting

You search for some storage or hiding places for your stuff only to find $hit loads of the other half's shoes/handbags you never knew about

haha, I know!....I have some top wardrobe space where my £15 WAS vest currently sits...... might use the loft

  16. im planning that one in november if the wife says yes
  17. too much from Firesupport.....but worth it in the long run..... how many days until 17th October!!?
  18. Tuddenham is here, i would't class it as Thetford as i think there is a site there called Combat paintball??.....or i could be getting my wires crossed! https://www.google.co.uk/maps/search/gunman/@52.3085187,0.5630769,13.5z
  19. will do, they run Sundays which is ideal for me and only 30mins away
  20. UA is 328 and its classed as CQB, im looking at the ICS CXP UK1 as i like the idea of easy swap parts......just no one at time of posting i have found has the upper parts in stock...yet! Then id only need one to take it to 350 for the other sites i plan to go to....and swap out as needed. 300 sounds nice but i guess that's only ideal for indoor only sites???
  21. i think a sticky, if not already, topic for goggles would be good with a few comments, i for one am looking at swapping mesh for goggles/glasses but not 100% sure what as want to keep my teeth but also protect my face... maybe a topc with make of eye pro, good and bad, recommended anti fogging device (spray, wipe etc) ok may not be ideal for all but will help us out eventually, even if the topic creator can update the first post each time?....cutting out OT stuff! any, like the look of the glasses that wrap around a bit more
  22. aaarh so your part of Tuddenham....planning a milsimy type trip there soon
  23. welcome, Bug is one that's very very hard if not impossible to remove! im about to get my first AEG, and believe me i have asked, researched, asked again and probably annoyed a few on here with questions....and still do but the place is full of experienced personnel who have been in the same boat so have invaluable advice If you can try others out first, do so, if you can get to a shop, even better, i popped to Firesupport and my ideas of what i wanted were changed once i held a few other models and makes. If you have a set budget that can also help as it will limit your options away from the higher spec guns.... if you want to borrow my son for your shop trip you may end up buying a SAW or a Garand as your first!! haha so does the £300 include the batteries, charger, extra mags and other bits etc or have you got a budget for that as well?
  24. cheers Mr D, you do give some great opinions to a difficult subject! luckily I have time right google time while kids are out with wife!
  25. yeah I have been 'restrained' on looking for pimp ideas but have them, trust me....of course need some mags just to fill those WAS pouches I bought!...haha yeah that xcortech is nice, that will come, and only 40mins drive so can drop off for fitting if needed son has said it has to be tan now, at least he has an idea of the range im looking at at not the SAW!
