I love the rifle!!
-
My mate got the desert/tan version which I think is the same as this really nice pistol
-
Finally got one Absolutely beastly bit of kit it's my mates and unused I tried it Wednesday night and just wow got quite a few kills and the sound scares the enemy in the dark haha so I bought it off him Highlight was hearing an enemy player whimper after I cocked it " he's got a shotgun nooo "
-
5 shots 5 kills Guys ran towards me and didn't see me, the lined up to rush the next room and I just picked them off Made me very happy

Last Wednesday playing I lost all my lives in the last game we played so was walking off at the same time someone else was doing the walk of shame found out he had another life but ran out of ammo so just gave him my gun and a mag so he could continue. Best bit he was on enemy team and killed my mate with my rifle hahahaha The guy gave gun back and was really grateful didn't cost anything and made someone else's day easier
-
That's good advice I bought a pistol immediately when I started and struggled a lot because I bought the wrong gas for my enviroment

I'm fairly new to this sport and started on electric with a mate. Since getting my ukara I went and bought a gun I love the vector which is a GBB and if I'm honest I love it far more than my electric UMG or M4. I think the whole feel and sound of the package makes you feel a bit giddy when using it. The cons are Smaller mags Gas usage Weight Maintenance I use the nuprol red gas for cold and it worked fine last week emptied a 49rd mag on full auto no problems, and if red struggles I think there is a black gas version. The smaller mags are a bit of a pain but you play differently I got more kills with the gbb than I normally get with the electric and I put it down to picking my shots better rather than a line of cover fire. The weight of the mags is fairly harsh though I have 7 vector mags and they do weigh a fair bit. I'm still learning so maintenance so far has been spraying moving parts with oil and keeping gas in mags but I'm sure ill move into greater depth as time goes on. I think what people are saying is right start with an electric one and see if people at your site use gas have a look at them ask their opinions and make an informed choice. I love gas my mate who joined at same time doesn't like them his pistol mags are leaking as is his shotgun *touch wood* mine are fine Its chalk and cheese I guess

Tried a mix last night of pure aggression and hiding in the shadows worked really well ended up with 8/9 pistol kills when hiding and plenty of SMG kills when aggressive. Have got the mother of all welts on my abdomen though good shot by that bastard!
-
Hahaha I'll give it a go and report back

Sooooo Used my Vector for the first time last night and what can I say other than what a great bloody gun. I was a little worried at how it would work underground in the cold but on nuprol red gas it was sublime. Didn't miss a beat all night and on full auto could easily empty the 49rd mag with enough gas to fill again. Such a relief to have something work and live up to expectation. The main shock was the weight of 5 mags and the rifle compared to the other ones I used... Drew a large crowd as well which was nice I am a happy man

Saw one of these in action tonight at Epsom Was really impressed by it! Great weapon

You just won the internet with that

Spare room on the desk luckily missus isn't to fussed by em and have no kids. The only annoying this is one of cats sleeps on them hahaha the other hates em. I do want a rack or cupboard of some sort so my friends and her friends don't think I'm some crazed lunatic

All I have played is cqb this seems to work well for me Never run or move without gun up always have the gun vaguely pointing where you are looking helps with snap shots or unexpected guests Corner checking cant stress that enough majority of my deaths are because of this Patience as well if you hear enemies but not sure where go low and wait until your sure what direction they are in If in a group of 2 or 3 always have one on your shoulder and one watching your rear It's hard to really give tactics If I'm going round a blind corner that I can't poke my head around I'll use a grenade and run at same time idea being when grenades goes bang you are round corner firing got many a kill this way
-
Cant do it I have realised I only seem to like and own black weapons. Had a tan scar just couldn't like it... I think I have something wrong with me
-
I pretty much have a default setup on all my guns They all have a pressure pad torch All have some sort of red dot optic or holo Al, have silencer or tracer unit They are your guns so pimp them how you want id say Just read about that xcortech temptation indeed i love the burst fire mode

How do you fit Airsoft around work and home life?
MrMcG replied to Raggedy_man's topic in General Discussion
I'm lucky to a degree I travel a lot for work do on call and such much like the others but my missus is chilled with it and I normally go on a Wednesday night. Will see how easy it is to balance when I do a few weekends but it's my only real hobby so I make the effort when I can. Compared to RC this is a lot easier to manage -
Great pistol really like mine
-
Not sure if it's been mentioned but offering someone to take the hit if you snuck up on them If there is no engagement distance rule or bang rule it's a bit of a personal thing I crept up on 3 people held rifle to them And said do you want to take the hit felt bad shooting them close up However the same person didn't give someone else the same choice just unloaded at him. Up to shooter of course but I'd rather the option as several bbs in the arse at close range sucks

Have you actually tried telling the shop or asking the shop as I think it's them who update and add the ukara details to the website if you send them proof of I'd and new address I don't see why they can't update However I could be talking bollocks and hopefully someone can confirm or help

Hahahah I'm looking forward to this

First time Airsofter, in Surrey (and need help!)
MrMcG replied to Tamberlin's topic in New Players & Arrivals
If using gas at Epsom tunnels you need green or red gas as it is cold down there so not a gas guns friend -

Hi mate I play down Epsom tunnels a lot and will be there next week. John is right have a couple of games to see if you enjoy the whole thing as that's important. If you decide to come to Epsom next week ( Wednesday night ) bring a good set of boots But more than happy to answer any questions you have and help if I can -
