I'm really happy I bought a helmet tbh It was about 50 odd quid maybe more but I wouldn't go without it now for several reasons - You can mount cameras lights on it etc It protects you from BB fire which can hurt let's be honest Protects your head from hitting things no matter how careful we are this can happen if you play at Epsom tunnels it's dark and easy to walk into things Let's not forget you don't have to hit your head "hard" to cause damage it just has to be the right spot your head is important you should protect it I'd rather look a plonker in a helmet but not run the risk of putting myself into a coma or something similar from being unlucky Just my 2 c Admittedly I do have a tendancy for clumsiness/bad luck at times almost all hobbies or sports I have done I have been whacked in the head so a helmet is nice to have

cheers mate i had a look and took it apart and thats in place So i regassed and tried again got about 6 shots then the gas fell off quickly So i think maybe im not filling the mags properly or the gas isnt up to the job How long or how do you know when the mags are full

Hey Guys, Got a problem with the pistol wondering if its to do with the amount of hits it took to the floor yesterday.. It doesn't seem to load the next round in the mag after a shot is fired so it blank fires when you pull back the slide you see the BB but it then tries to load another and it all goes tits up. Also how do you tell when the mag is fully loaded with gas im doing the oscillating thing to put the gas in but its hard to gauge Sorry for questions Cheers

Yeah thats kinda what happened to me hahahaha I guess i can use different gas but playing underground with a full metal pistol prob didnt help ill look to get another maybe I think the desert eagle is completely ABS Was really impressed by some of the electric guns and the sound they made when firing

Thanks Guys Are all Tokyo Marui pistols ABS or do they have a ABS base and metal slide ( assume a metal slide wont be to much of an issue ) I did think i had it adjusted wrong but had a few people look at it and they agreed it couldnt be adjusted anymore the top strap was fine the lower one was the problem and the actual clip to hold pistol in place. Will try and get a pic of it later to show you all. Was a shame with the pistol as i only got to fire a few rounds before big plume of gas hahaha

Soooooooo We went to our first game last night at Epsom tunnels and well what can I say WHAT A RUSH! Managed to learn a lot from the main guy there and fellow players everyone seemed friendly and approachable and luckily it wasn't just myself and friend who were new two other guys were there as well. What I managed to learn - Gas pistol with full metal construction = Useless in the cold, My hand gun gassed out several times and when you looked at it the slide was frozen up and the whole slide was freezing!! As I was wearing gloves I didn't really notice. So is their a different type of gas I can use that will combat this or is the safest option an ABS constructed pistol I fired one of those and it was a lot better tbh. My drop leg side holster not for me I didn't find it comfortable or nice to use my pistol came out a few times so not much cop really, I will remedy that at some point. Other than that I am really pleased with how it all went, I bought cheap gear to start with and now I can enjoy upgrading my gear. Must say I was also really impressed with the performance of the AEG weapons my head has been turned I will admit. Now this morning I find myself sore and covered in a few welts hahahaha

I work for BT global services in Global banking and financial markets. I essentially deal with - Networks/Cisco Voice recording Telecoms Project management Traders etc..... Lets me travel the globe ( 6 weeks in sydney was a high, 4 weeks in saudi arabia was a low LOL )

Thanks all Looks like i have my first game planned with my mate next wednesday at Epsom Tunnels just making sure we can make it at, Looking forward to it get these 3 games under my belt then I can purchase my own weapons. As for loadout and gear I cant help but think of copying the SAS layout from the OLD cod days with the gas mask hehehe I guess thats what this is about enjoying and mimicking who and what you admire.

I can see myself setting some targets up at home for "sweeping" haha I think i have managed to convince one of my friends to come he is a large fella so was worried about the running around and being a big target but from the vids i have seen that shouldnt make a difference. I did wonder about the gun issue and its one the reasons why id build up a mini armoury i think at least then i can pick what suits me best, like you I will prob use an SMG but i do love the look of the Scar/Famas aswell so they can be a party piece I have seen some full face masks which i will buy i dont fancy telling my boss i cant come to work because i got shot in the eye with an airsoft gun ( him being an ex sergant major ) i would be hounded for days on end hahaha. I cant see myself not enjoying it and its a great way to meet new people so its win win.

Brilliant, There is a few models that i like P90 Scar or Famas Colt 1911 and a smaller h/g Sniper rifle of some sorts I think thats what i want to build my arsenal to and maybe the good ol D'eagle for laughs. Im sure over time that could grow massively hahahaha I can imagine my partner shaking her head already lmao

Thank you for the input, seeing as that place is in croydon its even closer Also looking at that shop online some good stuff in there! I will most definetly rent first probably the first couple of times as ill need to buy a two tone gun otherwise and then either spray it or get another when im allowed to get the replica models. Hahahaha it sounds like my other hobbies more gear than sense ill just hide it all in the loft then it wont count right!?!? I have only done Paintball once and although i enjoyed it I felt a bit letdown by the whole experience the replica guns used will add to that for me. Thank's for the advice i would call all shots as you say its for fun and once one person starts to "bend" the rules it can quickly escalate and ruin it for others all i want is to have a laugh at the weekend. The place I have seen for airsoft at the moment is this one if anyone has had experience http://www.surplusstore.co.uk/ I havent dealt with them before so if anyone has that would be cool or a shop or two that i should look at. I dont intend on going gun wacky so to speak but have seen a few AR and Rifles that i like with a couple of hand guns to compliment I have an army surpluss store near me so I shall happily raid that for clothing my missus will think im nut LOL I honestly have to admit it does sound a hoot this cant wait to get going

Hey All, A new guy to the sport it has really started to catch my eye over the last few weeks and im just trying to drum up some interest with my mates at the moment to come join me on a day! This seems to be my nearest club ( unless anyone knows better im around Grove park/Bromley area ) I have also found out that I need a license to hold the realistic looking airsoft guns which isnt a problem from what I understand i need to attend 3 events in a year then i can apply for one. I do sadly have a few questions ( sorry ) Are their rules to what and how many guns you can carry/use or is it to your discretion If you are hit are you out of the game/round ? Clothing i assume most people just use military clothing for the games? Anything else that i should be aware of? Sorry for the questions Cheers Brian
