  1. You are correct, LCT have never produced their own optics yet. However they did have have an advert back in 2016 which showed LCT AKs with a number of accessories, which of course, lead to speculation that LCT may produce their own. Here is a page with said advert https://popularairsoft.com/news/all-lct-airsoft-ak-parts-accessories
  2. I wonder if LCT will produce their own optic like the one shown in the AD?
  3. Have LCT give a price estimate yet? Also that QC gear box looks very interesting.
  4. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

Looking to see if anyone has a complete AKM wood kit that will fit/ can be modify for an E&L AKM in the UK before I order from HK. If you have a set your looking to sell please pm.

    NO VALUE SPECIFIED

  5. I see, 1500-2000bbs it not a small amount but then again determining the brake in period for Airsoft replica's is not an exact science. Personally I would say it needs more bbs through it, I can't give an definite number as I have never counted but 4000+ maybe more depends on the manufacturer. But as you said you're committing to internal mods then hopefully other forum members may be of more help then I. Good luck with your build.
  6. With regards to internal modification, I cannot personally say as I have never worked on TM ebb AK'S However if you've only play a few games and only put a few hundred to a thousand rounds through it, you may want to consider holding off on internal mods, and give the AK a chance to break in. All brand new AK's I have had, have a break in period where intial performance is OK but after a few thousand rounds in my experience there was a noticeable improvement. Just one thing to consider, as it may save you time and money, but it your kit and money so it down to you.
  7. Very nice AK. But is there some sort of engraving/etching on the left hand side of the receiver in the second picture?
  8. That is an interesting point, while I believe it would limit the market if they put it a rpd or pkp prices, they could very well do that since they are currently the only large airsoft manufacture making a genuine milled steel svd and possibly other variants looking at the box. Especially since Real Sword has not re-done a rerelease of their gen2 SVD.
  9. It will be interesting to see what price they decided for this? The past build up for the lct svd, people on social media seem to be thinking £450-500 mark but I am personal thinking it will be more, possibly looking at a similar price to that of the Limited Special Edition lct type 3 AK47 £650.
  10. I believe the op likes the look of the STKBR folding stock on the LCT stk-74.
  11. If I remember correctly, E&L essential series is a rebrand/reboot of their Force Core series which was a collaboration with Gunfire Poland. In short E&L externals with more economical internals. The Force Core series were very well priced for full steel AK externals around the 250 euro mark on Gunfire when they had them in stock. However the 3 Force Core I had did have a few QC problems, such poor blued finishing on the steel parts, missing cleaning rod, rear sight leaf spring just general fit an finish was a step down form E&L own brand of AKs But I used them as conversion kits anyway so it was not a real issue for me. If you not already seen it there a external comparison of LCT vs E&L gen 2 vs E&L essential on reddit, which gives a brief review.
  12. I need some help as my Google-Fu has failed me.

E&L did a series of AK called the PMC, basically AKs with Zenitco style rails and AR buffer stock tubes most were built on AK74 and AKM non-side folding pattern receiver.

Does anyone know if they sold just the rear AR buffer stock tubes assembly separately?

  13. An interesting but also a bizarre way of AK stock fitment. Is the polymer faux wood stock very flexible that it needs such a support?
  14. Then they are all Izhmash mags then, fairly common but still pretty nice if your looking for a certain a aesthetic. As for the trench art/ marks that down to personal preference most popular are the mags with the Cyrillic, but you never know. Well good luck with your sale hope it goes well.
  15. I must admit it is still quite hard to tell. In the pictures they look like matte plum from Izhmash due to the finish and arsenal mark. Although some do look like true black mags, but I thinks down to the lighting. As for the trench art/ marked mag I am assuming it the last picture? Not sure if your part of the Northern Pact community FB page but that may open up a larger market for your optic. Hit the nail on the head there, custom guns are always down to the individual taste.
  16. Sound like a good plan. If you can that, could help pricing and more so the selling. As currently most stockist of NPO mags are out of stock and are waiting on re-stock. There are still the private sellers who still make and sell converted mags but they generally come a premium, due to the hand select nature. It can sometime be difficult to sell Russian/comblock optics, especially if it set up for the proprietary side mounting option when compared to pic rail ready optics.
  17. If you do decide to sell, I think you already put forth as mentioned in your description the best possible option which would be to split if your looking to move items on quickly. For the E&L I am assuming it a gen-2? The lowest I seen for E&L aks74u gen 2 in the UK was £299.99 and the highest £339.99 now the important things is that was when they were in stock. A lot of UK shop are low/no stock on E&L aks74u gen2 currently. So there is a supply issue currently (that may change in the future) but that does not necessarily translate in a demand for the E&l aks74u gen2. As for pricing I would go along this route personally: If you return the aks74u to its original configuration with one NPO plum mag and no extra’s, and taking into account the internal work you done which I find is always tricky to put a value on due to the personal nature of modifying guns. Then I personal would price it at £320-350 PayPal fees and postage you would have to work out yourself. If you sell the aks74u in the tactical config with one mag, the original muzzle booster, replica SOTAC 2DPS flashlight, the internal work and the Bulgarian style flash hider I put it up for £350-£420. PayPal fees and postage you would have to work out yourself. The NPZ Pk-1 personally I would sell separately currently going for £458.90 brand new from https://kula-tactical.com/1p63 not sure on postage to the UK or the import fees. They do pop up from time to time on eBay for £350 and private Facebook groups. So a £300-£350 if you want it moved on as it is a niche optic and current production so there are a fair few still around. PayPal fees and postage you would have to work out yourself. The NPO plum mags can be a tricky one lot of factors to consider such as coloration, marbling pattern, trench art and overall condition. I can’t really tell from the pictures. But as a guess £15-£20 per mag. PayPal fees and postage you would have to work out yourself. As for the LCT pbs4 with tracer are currently £130.99 from Patrol Base https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/lct-pk-259t-pbs-4-silencer-with-tracer-unit So not really sure £80-£100. PayPal fees and postage you would have to work out yourself. As for the two sling not sure. Obviously these are just my opinions on price but that the starting price I would look at if I was selling. But its your kit so your choice. However at the end of the day it will only sell for what people are willing to pay.
  18. Sadly the receiver is die-cast zinc and only the receiver cover is steel, according to TM own advertising time stamp 0:51 for the info.
  19. I am impressed with the fact that the wood furniture is actually plastic interesting to see how well it holds up over time. The pistol grips looks like a decent faux version of a bakelite pistol grip from the pictures I have seen. I wonder if it looks as good in real life as it does in the pictures?
  20. Good look with your search, you could also try and put a wanted ADs on the classified on here for the parts.
  21. LCT kits will fit with minor modifications Unfortunately the one you linked is for ICS AKs and they have their own proprietary set up and will not fit LCT, E&L pretty much any VFC based system.
  22. Again they are very similar if not the same to the first one you linked just a different finish, also the hand guards look like AKS 74U hand guards, but with work they can fit but you are also buying a rear stock which is no use to you with your particular model of AK. Cold War collectables has some parts and UK based and maybe able to order you a set I have personally bought from him a number of time so he pretty good. https://www.cold-war-collectables.co.uk/parts-department/soviet-weapons-parts/ There are a number of UK military surplus sites that sell AK parts just have to keep an eye out for them. Also a chap by the name AJ Egan Walsh I believe used to/ still does sell surplus parts on FB and Instagram I believe he based in Ireland not too sure if he still selling. Esty sellers also have some very good surplus parts but they come at a premium and from outside the UK but are very good got the hand guards on my E&lL AK from a seller on there.
  23. The parts you link may fit with work, but they have some weird cut-out at the rear and protrusions that will most likely will need to be removed to fit properly. It also appears they look laminated but looking at the other images, it would appear they are made of machine-pressed-formed wood like Chinese Chu wood, which is prone to cracking so. I personally would avoid this one, especially if you are buying from Evike due to total cost but it your rifle so your choice.
  24. Well in the case of surplus parts. It down to using a hand file and test fitting (multiple times) and filing away material from the rear lower wood tab that slots into the lower receiver. In some case the front and side portion of front end of the lower handguard where the handguard retainer slides over and lock in place. the upper hand guard may also require this as well. You also have to be aware that if you get early wood surplus 74 handguards they some times have a spring steel metal part at the rear,(see red outline part in pic) this means that the handguards will not sit flush with the receiver and there is a visible gap, but that how it meant to be so don't remove to much material other wise it wont fit properly. There are video on YouTube that better explain this visually than me typing it all-out. Surplus parts can be a mix bag due to condition and manufacture.
  25. Genuine surplus 74 handguards will fit but do require some work to fit correctly. My E&L AKS-74 with Russian surplus 74 handguards.
