I have had this smersh for a number of years, it was intended for a MVD/ Russian Counter terror operation early-mid 2000s loadout but I never got round to completing. Now it just resting in my cupboard and I am clearing out parts I don't use. Although I am not 100% keen on selling due to how hard these are getting to find. I believe it a late SSO/Sposn 2004-2005 type 3 smersh, it is made of oxford material in the mustard colouration. It in very good condition no stains, rips or tears everything is genuine surplus, no repo parts on this rig. The set up is: 2 AK 4 cell AK pouches with internal dividers to carry a total of 8 mags, 2 grenade pouches on either side of the mag pouches for a total of 4 grenades and 4 cells for ROP-30 flares. 1 buttpack. 1 vertical vog under barrel grenade pouch set holds 5. 1 Radio pouch. 1 side arm pouch I believe is for the aps pistol but it will fit a WE makarov. 1 belt in the same mustard colouration. 1 set of suspenders in the same mustard colouration. I am looking for £265 ono which includes UK postage and PayPal fees. Please note I will not split this rig so please don't ask.£265

Not sure if the price is a typo or the actual asking price but £6,300.00 for LCT VSS with a Mancraft PDIK words fail me. https://prefired.co.uk/ads/lct-vss-dmr-hpa-mancraft-pdik/

I did not see that eBay listing thanks for the info I shall adjust the price.

While normally you would be correct. However currently wgc shop only have the King arms GP-30 for pre-order https://www.wgcshop.com/products/king-arms-gp-30-grenade-launcher-for-ak-series So seeing as wgc don't have it for sale at the moment and with no definite date of restock and combined with my preliminary search to see the current going rate of these gp-30 and with many place showing out of stock. I believed the higher price was justified, due to the condition it in, and it already being here in the UK so no international postage fees or possibilities of import and custom payments, which you have to pay if ordering from wgc or any other shop for that matter outside of the UK. Combined with the fact that currently no UK shops have the KA gp-30 in stock. I believe I am reasonable in my asking pricing, I am of course open to pricing suggestion and negation. In the end the market will decided and I will adjust prices accordingly. That one of the good things about this forum, we can have civil discourse (for the most part).

Make: King Arms Gun/Model: GP-30 Accessories: one 3 cell 40mm grenade pouch Condition: Excellent FPS: N/A Splits/Swaps/Part Exchange: N/N/N Price/Payment: £175-ono Pictures: yes Quite a rare item currently and in excellent condition never skirmished with original box and manual. This is King arms take on the real steel Russian GP-30 Obuvka 40 mm under-barrel grenade launcher. This launcher is made of aluminium and steel with a polymer pistol grip. It takes standard airsoft 40mm shower shells, 40 mike mike and stand alone tag shell launcher with tag round. Another unique feature of the King arms launcher is that it uses a universal mounting system, so instead of relying on the bayonet mounting points of an AKM or AK74. Meaning it can be mounted on any AK with a 16.3 inch barrel such as type 3 AK47 or a Type 56-2 for example which traditionally can't take this style of under-barrel grenade launcher due to different bayonet attachment. The perfect solution for someone who wants the the aesthetics of the Russian GP series of grenade launchers, combined with the practicality provided by the use of standard airsoft 40mm grenades, all in a portable packaged that is mounted onto your primary rifle, so you don't have to lug round an RPG-7 to have Russian/combloc fire support. Any question regarding the KA GP-30 please pm. No returns accepted.£175

More bits that I am clearing out. D-boys GP-25 This was a going to be used for a taggin set up with their proprietary vog shell for RU Chechen wars loadout. But sadly I could not find the tag vog shells and I have been told they no-longer make them, so I just kept it as display piece/ social media "likes". However it is just gathering dust so thought it be better send it to some one who will get more use out of it. The gp-25 is in used but very good condition still has the sighting system in place and not broken off, the safety works, as well as the dud shell extraction button. The attachment point are all intact and simply fit over the bayonet lugs of standard AKM, AK74 and AKMS, no other external mounting options (i.e. zip ties) required as show in the picture's it is fitted to an E&L AKS-74 which is not for sale. Comes with two 36rd shells both hold gas. The gp-25 operates like the real steel version. I am looking for £80 all in that includes UK postage and PayPal fees or nearest offer. No returns accepted on this item.£80

Something to consider is Partizan-M camo, it is very good for UK woodland in my opinion, and its reversible so you get summer and autumn camo in one suit. https://mancraftuk.com/product/partizan-m/

Appraise more of my extensive collection PT2: Rifles and gear.
Sniper780 replied to Asomodai's topic in Appraisals
In my opinion I would say your looking at £100-£120 all in. As you point out the current global events are restricting stock, but unfortunately it current gen ( has been seen in use by Russians involved in Syria) and not the more desirable Avizant, Oxford version's which are always in very high demand. You may increase your total if you sell the smersh in the AK set up and split the svd/vss mags off separately, but that depends if you want the work. -
Mini/Small chest rigs for 3x 7.62 AK mags?
Sniper780 replied to Asomodai's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
These modified chicom rigs maybe of some interest to you. https://www.hubcityoutdoors.com/rigs-and-plate-carriers/type-81 https://www.hubcityoutdoors.com/rigs-and-plate-carriers/type-56 -
The miss aligned fire selector is common niggle on well used RS type 97&97b and as you said reassembly on the unit or damaged/broken gearbox selector rack gear set , if yours are fine then there no problem just something prospective buyer and collector look for. As for the max estimate/offer of £280 reading that did give me a chuckle, I would be interested in knowing where you asked to get the 280 estimate? If they were both really well used example with non of the original parts, accessories and box or worse irreparably externally modified, then that would be a fair estimate but yours are two extremely nice example's. If you do decide to sell them good luck, they are currently ( at the time of typing this) very rare but a niche and in some respect date weapons but reliable and solid non the less, I am sure the right buyer will know what you have. I shall be keeping a close watch on the classifieds.

In my opinion for the Type 97 I wager you could ask what you want due to the condition it in, but possibly looking at a base price of £480-500+ just judging from the pictures you posted, if you are willing to hold out for the right buyer/collector. I know a few people in the US who are rather keen for the 97. I am assuming it does not suffer from the fire selector miss alignment? As for the Type 97b they can be slightly more tricky to sell they just don't quite have the same draw I find compared with 97, put in my opinion they are rarer due to that factor. I would say a base price of £480-500 give or take. The spare parts a always nice to have for a longevity and I know airsoft world has a fair few RS type 97 parts at the moment, but they do sweeten the deal. Internal mod are really down to the prospective buyer as to whether they add value or not.

This exact question is doing the rounds of RU/Combloc Airsoft social media group. In my opinion it's down to the player, but if you have RU patches and unit Identifiers maybe best to remove them for now. Unfortunately I only have RU kit nothing from a particular unit and no digital flora but still distinctly Russian. So I may have to adjust and see. What's also interesting is that when the conflict in Ukraine, first started with Russian involvement in the break away regions in East Ukraine and Crimea. I noticed a lot of people wanting to do the little green men/ polite people kit and a lot of Shops around the world were happy to stock & sell the kit, even though the RU forces were involved where some would say they should not be. There also RU involvement in Syria another interesting kit that a number people wanted even though the Russians were supporting President Bashar al-Assad. So the question is has Russian kit always been a bit of a mine field for reenacting/Airsoft?

Why yes the Police can be a bit clueless at times .
Sniper780 replied to Druid799's topic in General Discussion
Have/did Border force seized and confiscated your parcel, then send the police round to have a chat, or did they send you a letter saying your goods had been seized, then send the police round? Also will your item be destroyed? -

Having a parts clear out and this is first up. Real steel Russian SVD stock set. The stock is a laminated Russian SVD stock finished in the iodine orange, this stock is most likely a take off from an in service SVD, as it has the receiver number of the rifle it was paired with inscribed on the side, and two arsenal markings on the top (see pictures), it also has the leather cheek riser and also a bakelite end cap both in very good condition. The overall condition of the stock show sings of use which adds character, and saves the buyer from having to weather it themselves which can always be hit and miss. The two forend piece are also of the laminated type in the iodine orange finish, they do show wear on the steel fittings but wood shows very little signs of use. The colour match for this set is extremely close and quite impressive consider they are take off from two different rifles but beware is not 100%. Important note: This stock set will fit GBB and spring powered SVD with minor modifications however this will not fit an AEG svd with out serious modification, and is not recommend for someone who is not confident in diy. Looking for £170 all in no returns accepted.£170

Oh yeah are they about this sorta stuff? They are one of many FB groups that focus on RU/Combloc stuff, but NP has been around for awhile, so it has a fair few post and articles, that covers a variety of interest on the subject. So you can search in the group and more of than not, you can find info you need or it can point you in the right direction. Such as kit list for units in conflict's. Which helps when you're looking to buy items.

A good place to start if you're looking for info, inspiration and possibly places to buy for Russian/Combloc kit. You might want to join the Northern Pact Facebook group.

The Cyma universal AK side optic mount fits and sit quite low, but if you already have one and have tried it and it not to your liking, there is the ZenitCo B-13N for the SVD that is a low profile optic mount . However I am not sure if there a airsoft reproduction version out. The only other svd low optic mount I know of is the F.A.B. SVDM, NPZ Alfa and the Patriot M47 siderail.
-
It certainty does, but it has that soviet aesthetic.
-
Did some modifying over the Christmas break. Added a weathered GHK akm wood kit bought off a member on these forums, to my E&L AKM and also added a side rail optic mount to my 7.62X39mm LCT RPK to make it somewhat resemble a RPKN

I heard that comment/story on the FET FB page, regarding another company buying out RS. But I always take talk of such things with a pinch of salt, since no one has yet to confirmed or deny it. As for the type 97 fiasco that has unfortunately been on going for years and there has been some really shady/out right criminal practices going with that.
-
Unfortunately the market is in their hands at the moment, regarding full steel SVD and it variants. Unless RS re-release their SVD/Type 85 or if E&L ever decided to release their SVD that they advertised ages ago.
-
That fair, I have never seen a military 1P29 with tritium still functioning plenty of the civilians UPO-1 ones have it thought, there use to be someone in America who had/made replacement insert, not sure if they are still doing that. However having a genuine military variant is nice to see. Is it a fairly resent acquisition, or did you manage to buy it before the price rise?
-
All most certainly, Nuprol tax and the airsoft shops who will have to add to the price to make their money. I wonder how much the magazines will be? I have all ready seen a post on the Airsoft reddit lamenting the price (Obviously this for a Canadian shop but it may be a potential indictor for the UK when they are in the shops.) With regard to the spare parts front LCT are normally fairly good on that point WGCshop carries a lot of spare parts both internal and external. The slim motor is also an interesting development.
-
Interesting I imagine UK price are going to be quite high, especially with noprol I believe being the exclusive UK distribution agent, and they add their tax on top of the RRP.
