  1. Are you able to provide (for a reasonable charge) pickup in a 5km radius (not for this event)?
  2. Well, speaking like David Peterborough/Bill Oddie while the squad is sneaking, or standing up in the middle of a gunfight, or such and such. Cliché Vietnam Movie Military Journalists - clueless. Or Guy with camera who calls hits just like everyone else. These are not questions
  3. Don't think it's that bad, this thread is first for "novritsch aim cam", 5th for "novritsch aimcam". Course, maybe there's people who buy things without a basic google search.
  4. Do you do embedded press for civilian roleplay?
  5. Wow, not seen that much curse in a single post on this forum for a long time...
  6. Anyone got a photo of the G&G 0.25g BBs in brown or green?

  7. Kudos for answering, there was zero sarcasm in my post, but it wasn't a serious question. Just a joke because you explained [why] everything else. I broke my first blaster bottle.
  8. You're not giving enough information. For starters possession is too ambiguous. Not to mention intent is most of the law, strict liability offences are few - and without other information it appears to be those you're asking about. So it depends on whether the gun in question is convertible, and whether it is of a type requiring a license. Now if you mean in the street, it still matter which law it's covered under and that depends upon whether it falls under the firearms acts (which, with case law and other documents, provide definitions for whether it will or not) or the VCRA. If it can't fire real lethal ammunition, or be made to do so, it's just a RIF like any other.
  9. Ooooh, very interesting, but why coke bottles?
  10. Police officers are not lawyers! Also the answer depends on whether the blank firing gun in question can, or cannot, be converted to fire life ammunition.
  11. I use these: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=valken+wire+mesh+ear+protection&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=btnBVcDGLcP7UK_ZspAI
  12. Anyone know if there's a Blowback MP-443 pistol for airsoft?

      Doesn't exist.

Don't think so, maybe one might have been made by some obscure manufacturer but nothing by anyone reputable.

      Thank you! There's a NBB Co2 version :/

  13. Do you know what [brand] you bought? Some pistols are viable for skirmishing indoors. Certainly give you a taste for the sport without spending more money.
  14. I agree with you completely. Wouldn't stop me using one though. One of the big 'things' with airsoft that has never made sense to me, is the partial realism of the sport: "you must use RIFS", "you may use midcaps" - the hypocrisy. No critique to you beast, or anyone else, as I do agree, but it seems all airsoft players pick and choose what elements of non realism they are willing to put up with in their kit, and others. Many without noticing the double standards they impose on others. Either go full realism, or don't, but it should not matter what the other guy has (visually speaking), yet practically speaking - why were hicap magazines even invented, I won't use them and i'd love to play realcap games, but I don't speak a peep when out playing airsoft. Realism and airsoft (skirmishes) are two things which do not go together.
  15. Rubbish indeed. I don't feel picked on or anything. I just used qualifying terminology that I thought would indicate that I did not believe what I wrote and it was not picked up on. I said I "believed it was related to" and put question marks in, I did not intend to posit any of that post as fact. Believed by me or otherwise, but there a LOT of vocal people on the internet who do believe it. I should have used a better word than arguing, though. My bad.
  16. I'm not arguing whether something is or isn't only the peculiar fear that it is. But huge swathes of results from internet searches on over voluming HPA airsoft guns, reach the conclusion I mentioned above: that a heavier BBs have (accelerating) forces acting on it for longer than lighter BBs in an overvolumed gun. That a perception exists that it is [allegedly] easier to achieve with a HPA gun is the main problem. Whether or not the problem actually exists is not something these people seem willing to contemplate.
  17. I believe this is related to the heavier BBs spending more time in the barrel, so you can set the air volume up to accelerate them rapidly (and for longer), but when you put a .20g BB in, it leaves the barrel so fast that the over volume is not noticed? The net result is HPA guns should be chrono'd both on 0.2g and on the player's intended weight?
  18. From what I read, the pump would overheat and be dangerous before that. It's more like 15 minutes (not all at once either ) out of every hour for a day on a weekend. In terms of money, and if you have the fitness and the desire to exercise in that manner I think a pump is the best solution. Unless a site had a pump, its not economical to visit airgun or scuba shops. Plus I believe for the 3000PSI 13 CI tanks you get 3 to 5 shots (Polarstar JACK) per stroke of the pump to a max of 1200 from the tank.
  19. If the gun is accurate, with tight spread it's even worse as higher rate of fire is not actually going to increase chance of hitting, in my opinion. You can for 4500 68CI ones too. As you would expect, it gets harder once you pass a certain PSI/BAR, Based on youtube vids on this subject, I'd say that the problems start somewhere around 3000PSI. I believe the consensus is about bodyweight, after a time you need the actual body mass to be about to operate the pump. Thankfully these pumps, contain multiple cylinders operating as pumps on the fore aswell as backstroke.
  20. I don't have any plans to get larger than 3000 PSI tanks. If every fill from a store costs £6-10 (transport costs included, but time excluded)... Beesting are going to start stocking them this month, yay.
  21. Ditto, my last game someone sneaked up on me, to within 5 meters, and then shot me in the side 7 times on semi, I shouted (loudly and politely) and they apologised later, I guess they were not using their sights properly. I can't say what ROF I would have if I had a HPA, but I can say it would not exceed AEG levels unless the gun was in burst fire 2-3 shots. I'm that guy who takes the time to draw a pistol to avoid hurting people!
  22. I want to go HPA, but until I have a 2nd gun 'shell' I'm not going to disassemble my only AEG to make it. In my view, I see it as taking a gun consisting of something like 15 factors to tune/have go wrong, and reducing it to barrel and hop up unit (2). After the initial outlay £550-700* + AEG body, expenditures will be kept down. Unfortunately I had to spend more money that I would have liked on footwear(£320) to correct a disability. So I budgeted myself out of HPA until I can afford another AEG. *Polarstar: Engine+FCU (£250-400), hose/regulator (£140), Battery (£10), Stirrup Pump (£120-160), Bottle (£40-200). In other news, the most recent Polarstar FCU firmware added a trigger lockout, with values from 10 shots a second to 1 shot every 10 seconds. For snipers and other uses.
