  1. What battery are you using?
  2. I'd suggest not using a motorbike helmet for airsoft as they are not designed for the job. Any impact to a bike helmet can render is useless in a real crash, I'd not want to get shot in the helmet (oh behave!) and then trust it enough to wear it in a ride home. Yes a visor may with stand a single impact from a BB and not crack but it may not stand up to multiple impacts. That are also heavy and running around all day you will be very hot and sweaty.
  3. Try an m90 Spring, if you screw up the barrel there is no going back, but you can always pop the m100 Spring back in
  4. Has anyone tried to use silica gel packets?
  5. That's very true, but the weight distribution and length of barrel from your front hand allows better movement in more confined spaces imo. I like the look of the gun and in 6-7 months time I'll be in a position to spend quite a bit of time and money on a nice gun that appeals to me and the tar fits the bill. I just don't want to waste time and effort researching a gun if it turns out to be a turkey so I was wondering about any opinions people had on the Trevor (tavor) by Ares or if there are any other makes I could look at.
  6. Seeing as my local site is indoors cqb I think a bullpup is a good idea and I like the look of the tavor or tar 21 but it seems Ares are the only ones to make it. I've heard a mixture of opinions on area and wondered if anyone can offer facts not just opinion on the tar, or if there are other manufactures I should be looking at. Or are there others versions with slightly different names that still being a noob I've missed. Thanks Berto
  7. I can 100% confirm these fit as I've got them for my cm16 raider http://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-1450mah-25c-continuous-discharge-cranestock-lipo-battery.html
  8. Whitley bay so not too far. What times do games finish?
  9. Do the games start at 3pm at no limits?
  10. Welcome buddy, I'm from northumberland, not far from Whitley bay. You've got a few different sites: http://www.rifleworksairsoft.co.uk http://www.nscairsoft.co.uk and obviously NTAC. Get out and enjoy!
  11. Just to be picky and having mild OCD with figures etc 9.5/10 would be 95%. Phew, that feels better
  12. 20 points to griffindor! That's spot on BigAl, that's s perfect discription. Western Arms Gold Cup NBB, now I can look for spares etc, thanks so much for the help, I really appreciate such a detailed response. I've got a spare set of plastic "chrome" grips too, but they are quite worn sadly
  13. What are you goals in upgrading it? Range, ROF, reliability, accuracy etc?
  14. I think Hudson might have it, the mag looks very similar. I'll check when I'm home later
  15. I tried google but only got a German website referencing the gun. Not much use to me even with Google translate.
  16. Hi, this is a mystery gun. Got it from my uncle who has sadly passed away. I can't see any manufacturers marks on it. Can anyone identify it? It's got a 2 stage trigger, changeable grips and I'm unsure if it's age, poss 10+ years old. Only marks I could find
  17. I wear patches that either make me smile, (hulk patch that reminds me of my son or Star Wars coffee) or feel pride about (Union Jack). Something that reflects my interests and or means something is ideal. Pretending to be a rank or from an armed force I've never been in seems too fake and belittles the achievements of the real soldiers out there imo. It's like buying a karate black belt and pretending you earned it. That's a big no no I'm my book as I've studied various Martial arts over the years. I am very proud of my various belts, especially my brown belt in kickboxing but I'd never buy a black belt and try and pass myself off as a rank higher than I am. Even to someone who has never studied martial arts and would be unlikely to know the difference.
  18. Please excuse my very basic analogy, I could have worded it differently but on my phone I really couldn't be bothered. But your "dictatorship" analogy was also off. Anyone who buys anything online knows there are multiple vendors and a quick search on Google will bring up loads of viable options. Therefore people have loads of different options to buy this kit. You can't fault a seller for not mentioning you can buy all the parts seperately for less and for also wanting to profit for their work in providing a simple one stop solution. Anyone too lazy to search online when buying something online deserves the price they pay.
  19. depends on how badly I wanted salad. If I wanted it immediately then I'd go for it, if I was happy to wait or look else where then I would.
  20. I dont get threads like these. My reasons being, you can buy a whole iceberg lettuce for 80p in tescos. Or a bag of shredded iceberg lettuce with less the volume Of the actual lettuce for £1.50. It's the same principle, it saves you time and effort and so it costs more as someone else has spent the time and effort to do it for you
  21. Not got a belt sander but a Dremel with a million attachments! Might look into this
  22. Is this hard to do? I'm struggling to find a decent holster for my KSC M11a1 and I think one if these would be ideal. I'm pretty good with making things, make quite a few car parts in carbon fiber etc before. Are there any guides etc?
  23. Just read up on the stippling and undercutting, makes perfect sense really. And looks the dog bollocks!
