I've just got a vest and I'm looking for a long sleeve top to go under it and some trousers to wear during a days skirmish. I've looked on loads of websites but I'm lost as there is too much choice. Ideally I want a cool (temp, not the look) top so I don't get too hot and them some trousers with built in knee pads but I don't really want to spend a fortune just yet as I'm quite new to the sport. I'll be playing outdoors in woodland and my vest is OD, I'm not really fussed about the style of camo as I'm not going down the route of a specific loadouts just yet (plenty of time for OCD to kick in when I'm more serious/when the wife isn't looking) can anyone point my in the right direction of what to look for or what to avoid? Ive found these but at this price I'm very suspicious they will be crap http://airsoft-club.com/shop/tactical-gear/clothing-bdu/combat-shirt-pants/combat-shirt-pants-a-tacs-fg-camoelbow-knee-pads Thanks Berto

This isnt homophobic, but its a question about it

Unless you are trying to have sex with someone, I don't see why anyone needs to mention or refer to someone's sexual preference at all. -
Is there a list on here of international sellers? I've tried searching google but usually only find the UK sellers.
-
Cheers esoterick. No need to be a smart ass airsoft_mr b, I was just asking a question. I see like lots of pictures of people in the field and of loadouts etc so though someone might be interested. A simple no would have done and probably caused less offence.

Is it ok to sell non airsoft stuff here? I've got a dslr I won at work and I've no interest or talent for photography so it's wasted on me, just wondered if I could pop a for sale thread up and avoid getting fleeced on ebays fees. Berto

Hope so, the goggles only cost £10 on eBay!

So I've just bought some ESS V12 goggles, I can sent my inserts and prescription to this glassesdirect and they will put new lenses in the inserts that are my prescription?

Aye, it's the raider shirt I've got. Looking at slings on Amazon for some ideas Thanks for the help guys
-
Thanks for clearing that up dude! So a 3 point sling and Molle belt sounds like the way forward.

I've been looking into slings and vests and it's a bit of a mine field so I thought I'd ask for some advice. I've got a g&g cm raider and I want a sling to support the gun, what's the difference between single or 3 point slings in terms of supporting the gun when running around? Also vests, ideally I want some way to carry 3 or 4 spare m4 mags, my g26 pistol and its spare mag and possibly a spare battery, what's best for this? I'll be outdoors in woodland. Also is there anything I should be carrying for a day skirmishing that I've missed out? Thanks Berto

As above, I'm down in the midlands for a few days and was wondering if there were any good shops to visit while I'm here? Thanks Berto

Not got any sorted yet but it does go to show how people experiences differ using the same equipment. I might get a few different mags to test what works, no point throwing £50 at a bunch if mags to find out they won't work 100%. On a slightly different issue, where is best to get a good RDS? I'm not a fan of the bulky ones like this: http://www.taiwangun.com/en/holo-mod-2-type-sight-black-acm?from=listing&campaign-id=19 I prefer this type: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/194879/ncstar-tactical-reflex-red-dot-sight-circle-crosshair-with-4-moa-dot-circle-with-4-moa-dot-1-moa-dot-crosshair-with-4-moa-dot-matte

Try battlefield 4 instead of cod, I find it a much more grown up game, there are tanks and less screaming kids than cod. Plus being able really tweak the weapons adds a deeper level of immersion that the usual generic attachments you get in cod. Did I mention the tanks? I've had my xbone for over a year now and as a simple, turn it on, play games, abuse my mates and have fun, you can't beat it.

so it sounds like I can stike gold with mags or end up up a certain creek without a paddle. I think I'll try a couple of cheap ones and see how I get on.
-
I'll not bother with a flash light then, not got a local indoor site. Might buy just one of each mag for a test then, unless some come up 2nd hand and are worth a punt. Or I could go hi cap and not worry at all, or both. Depends on how much money the wife lets me spend.
-
Cheers cheeky vimto, that's exactly the sort of thing I was looking for. I like the idea of an angled grip but until my wrist is 100% I'm not risking it. Do flash lights really make much of a difference btw? Or is it mostly for show?

Thanks guys that's a great help

I've just bought a G&G raider and I'm looking to get a few spares etc but I'm a little lost on what will fit or work with the gun. I'm looking for a couple of spare mags (ideally mid cap), couple of spare battery's and due to a wrist injury a foregrip. Do I need to look for a specific make or will any M4 mag fit? And which battery would people suggest for the gun, I'm not after most power just to ensure I can use the gun for a whole day and which foregrip will fit? It has a RIS I believe, sorry for the noob questions but I've just seen a thread for a massive sale and would love to grab some bargains but not waste money Thanks Berto

Does BB weight affect/amplify wear and tear on airsoft guns.
Berto replied to Sacarathe's topic in General Help
Stands to reason it will increase wear and tear. 0.2g vs 0.25g is an increase of 25%, and condsidering how many rounds are fired in a full day of airsoft img that's got to wear barrels etc out quicker. -
You could get a straw and some bbs, pea shooter style

Was allowed to listen to acdc in the car today by the wife. Not been allowed to do that since I put "highway to hell" on as we drove to the hospital as she was in labour with our 2nd child, for some reason that was "insensative". Today was a good day

good question, i'm hoping contact lenses will fix this but i'm keen to find out too

Gentleman Jack for me tonight, been a busy day shopping and DIY so it's a well earned drink.
