I know it's quite old now, but I'm thinking of investing in a G36 system (bored of M4s...) and I've read/heard that the VFC G36C V2 is great fun to shoot. There also some decent 3rd party upgrades out there (Clutch Precision). I intend to use HPA only as I dislike using gas, so the G36's very expensive (plastic) gas mags aren't a factor. Any VFC G36C V2 owners out there who would be kind enough to tell me the pros and cons of this system? I know a lot of people prefer the WE G36, but I'm specifically looking for heavy recoil and the VFC model reportedly ticks this box nicely. Thanks in advance!

Comes with everything pictured including: - ASG CZ P-09 Urban Grey GBB Pistol - 3 CO2 Magazines - Holster Only ever used for plinking in the garden. Always stripped, cleaned and relubricated after every use. Absolutely fantastic pistol with a very smooth action and an impressive kick. Incredibly durable and well built. Designed for use with both CO2 and Green Gas out of the box. It's also very customisable with a threaded barrel to accept tracer units and suppressors, and the raised suppressor sights are removable with a dovetail mount for the option of other sights and/or red dots (RMRs, etc). Whilst the house was being redecorated, this pistol (along with all my other RIFs, gear, etc) was boxed up and put in the loft for a year or so. I have since moved house 2 years ago and my collection still hasn't seen the light of day. It's gutting to see them all go but I'd rather someone else made good use of them and enjoyed them like I once did. Open to offers & negotiation. Can post at buyers expense. Please take a look at my other listings (more to come over the next few days) if you want any accessories, bundle deals, etc too.£100

Novritsch SSG10 Spare parts (can split) weighted piston and trigger unit

Selling up some spares from my SSG10 builds including: original trigger unit (great unit which has usual wear from use but still perfectly working) weight adjustable piston, this has 4 light screw on segments and 4 heavy screw in segments allowing fine adjustment of piston weight for quiet shots also includes 4 air break pins (has some wear to section that you place spanner on when changing over weights but this is just surface wear and doesn’t effect it at all) only selling as I’ve swapped to a super short barrel and this needs a light piston to achieve high joules (negates the point of having this one) I found this a great piston and had my full length SSG nice and quiet trigger unit £40 piston £40 or both for £70 prices include postage and PayPal fees£70

I've had a bit of good luck in finding RIFs I want at a real discount. In addition to the L22 Carbine I managed to snap up a couple of days ago (see further up) I also found a guys ICS L86A2 LSW on an absolute steal. He says the FPS is low so it could be a quick service job but performance overall is pretty poor as it has no ETU and all internals are stock.

While lacquer is good, anything hard-wearing will be oil/spirit based, plus a spray based lacquer may create more issues due to the propellant gases, all of which might lift or disrupt the artwork. I'd be more inclined to look at a tough exterior matt varnish, & gently apply the first layer with a small roller, or laid on with a brush. But literally one thin coat, any attempt to apply more before the first coat has dried & completely cured will feck it up. Good luck

Yeah, needs some hard wearing lacquer. The only advice I can give, you probably already know... Make sure its clean and free from any oils before applying.

These are for big bastards. Big and tall bastards even. Short and skinny bastards need not apply. These are super nice quality 3xl BDU's I got alongside a 2xl shirt and while the shirts a good fit and I'm keeping it, these trousers absolutely smother me. I'd look like Simon Cowel and MC Hammer's tactical lovechild wearing these. Label says 47-51" waist which is accurate, and the leg is 33" which I'd say is also accurate since I'm a short arse and had had plenty of ankle length to tuck into my boots. But Tru-spec BDU's are notoriously generous on the thigh and calves. A taller guy could pull them up and they'd look better, but for my fellow tragic manlets you'll look more like a digi camo zeppelin I'm afraid. They have reinforcements in the knees, seat and groin area, kneepad slots accessible from the bottom, and draw strings around the ankles, waistband and upper thighs with an elastic chord from the outerside of the thigh pockets and also non-elasticated tabs on the sides of the waist. A bit of an oddity outside of the US if my months long search for a 2xl pair was anything to go by. In the end I settled for a well worn and washed out pair of blueish-grey pair instead. Price includes postage and fees.£30

Double Eagle M906C - Internal upgrades / tinkering
RostokMcSpoons replied to RostokMcSpoons's topic in Electric Guns
Hi guys, been a while since I've been around these parts... A combination of being skint through trying out a lower-paid job (in a much better one now thankfully), knackered knees and ankles, and worst of all a bad case of tinnitus caused by a grenade going off right next to me in a very confined doorway in the last game i played... meant I've not played for months. Luckily the tinnitus has eased off back to where it used to be, so as long a as i wear ear-pro i will try again. Anyway, glad to see the thread is being useful still! My beloved m906c has also decided to do something bad to the Falcon ETU again. I think the damned things are very heat sensitive, so a poorly shimmed gearbox or a badly adjusted motor, or just a lot of single shot spamming can cause it to fail. So these updates are good info 👍 My alternative thought is to go for one of those drop in hpa engines ... I'll wait until someone beats me to it so i can crib from their experience 😋 -

Hi, gave a spare rail that was cheaply coated (slightly rough) as a test piece to an artist in the family. She kindly drew a proof of concept in pencil, however I would not know how to protect this while installed. From some brief research clear matte Duracoat, Alumahyde and cerakote were mentioned, though apart from a Jeweller suggesting to heat the metal then apply wax pencils in layers there seems to be no information on protecting artwork on metal. She already has further ideas but not being a professional applicator some advice would be appreciated before I appropriate more expensive parts; sealants for nylon and plastic as well as how to prepare the relevant surfaces, including for paint and watercolour ground, would also be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Bought these with the intent of strapping an exfog unit to them but discovered I hate full seal goggles and my new sawfly lenses don't fog like my old set so wew me. Practically new and unused, only worn for about 30 secs to test fit and adjust the strap once. Price includes postage and fees.£42
