johnnyj Posted Thursday at 18:09 Posted Thursday at 18:09 Not seen this posted so sorry if it has. A friend shared it with me the other day https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16uprpJwTq/ It's an interesting concept and I will probably grab a gearbox to play with Diemaco 1
Austeyr Posted Thursday at 18:11 Posted Thursday at 18:11 The amount of wear that will induce 😳 Cannonfodder 1
johnnyj Posted Thursday at 18:15 Author Posted Thursday at 18:15 If it works will be fun to have a moving bolt but I have so many questions lol I want to see some internal photos
BigStew Posted Thursday at 19:49 Posted Thursday at 19:49 interesting even has a fake bolt with locking lugs. so proprietary hop unit unless it retracts into the bolt. better be made out of some heavy duty material looks flimsy. Austeyr and Cannonfodder 2
Emergencychimps Posted Thursday at 20:33 Posted Thursday at 20:33 (edited) I was expecting to make some pithy remark about the lack of innovation.....but actually it looks like an interesting middle ground between a gbls das and a standard version 2 gearbox. AK47frizzle Posted Thursday at 22:49 Posted Thursday at 22:49 pretty much the dbls in a cheaper form, really interesting and tbh, for a while, I thought that this was probably going to be the next novelty in airsoft: actual electric blowback with instant trigger
The_Lord_Poncho Posted Friday at 15:13 Posted Friday at 15:13 Two pairs of wires coming from the gearbox (but none of them seemingly motor wires).... Perhaps, even if it is compatible with a standard hop, this won't be a simple drop-in?
Cannonfodder Posted Friday at 17:24 Posted Friday at 17:24 Looks nice but I can't help thinking there's going to be a lot of wear and tear on those moving parts. Combined with having quite a few proprietary parts this could cause problems when it comes to fixing or upgrading
Encore Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I'm excited about this. It mechanically the same as the AAF (American Airsoft Factory) gearbox with a different FCU. I loved mine until the FCU died and will look to pick one up as soon as they are available in the UK. The stop in empty with any kind of aeg mag including a hi cap was worth it alone imo. Anyone got any idea which UK retailers are gonna be stocking this? It's already available in Canada to buy with airsoft depot so surely just waiting for the shipment to arrive to the UK?

Yeah the TM recoils have chunky gearboxes though, the E&C is barely there. If it is s reperpoused gel soft gear box interesting to see hoz it handles Airsoft power.
