ruskitseller Posted Saturday at 20:09 Share Posted Saturday at 20:09 (edited) Hello! Very pleased to see Rule 5 introduced - good idea. Nice one forum chaps! But just to clarify and be crystal clear for us who are...not sure of a polite way of saying it but I am one of them!: I am guessing the new rule means all current adverts (even if they have 6 days left on them) will need to be taken down and resubmitted with the date and username? I will be doing this anyway so no dramas Will old adverts from tomorrow be taken down automatically? Does Rule 5 apply for wanted adverts? Just some scammers have used that as a way of opening up a trade to scam (on other sites anyway!), but not sure what you would actually take a pic of for that Thanks Edited Saturday at 20:40 by ruskitseller

(I wouldn’t have read it as retrospective on the listing, but you’re right that the rule applies as of tommorow for all sales/swaps - which can be read to mean any live advert) Question 2 - the fuller rule refers to sales/swaps. Therefore no verification picture needed for the wanted listing - but responses offering to fulfil the want would need a verification picture Enid_Puceflange and Tackle
Head Moderator Jedi_Master Posted Saturday at 23:02 Head Moderator Share Posted Saturday at 23:02 Any advert posted after 01 Dec will need to follow new rule. So if you re-post a current (expired) advert, you will need to include a new photo with username and date. Adverts will not be automatically removed on 01 December. Any current adverts that cross into December are fine, as they will expire within 7 days of the rule change. Wanted adverts are not sales/swap so do not count. However, anyone should do due diligence if responding to an offer from their Wanted ad or being randomly solicited. Tommikka

It's not as if the new rule isn't well advertised and that way they'll learn quicker Tackle
