rj1986
Now this begs the question does this prove this was a new batch, or were these kept in the warehouse *because* of this and someone just forgot or okay’d it to be sent out MistakenMexican

MistakenMexican
In case people have missed it. guarder have been busy posting updates on new gen5 upgrades. Their lightweight BBU will be less that 10g 🤯 I reckon we’ll see complete new generation lowers with trades by the end of the year. i also reckon it will be quicker to buy and assemble a complete guarder kit than wait for Marui to reproduce a gen5. the last 2 gen4s I’ve built have been complete guarder builds and they’re almost drop in kits. So I imagine the gen5 will be similar. Mr Dellski and Jacob Wright 1

I wonder if they could do a new 22.5. I'm sure they've already thought of that if the legal stuff is hampering 17.5 Edited March 10 by rj1986 Mr Dellski and MistakenMexican

I'm sure they've already thought of that if the legal stuff is hampering 17.5 Expand rumour I’ve heard from within the retail industry is that they’ve sorted out the legal problems (which weren’t actually legal problems but production problems) and they’re back at it. we might be waiting a bit for the gen5 as it’s more onerous to produce compared to the others. But who knows. Personally, I’m waiting for guarder to start selling complete lowers, nozzles and blowback units. Then I have everything I need to build them without a donor. Rails and drop ins are fine, but something like a trigger box is just not worth the agro for me. Even my ngrs's go to a tech just for the ease of not having to dick around with it. I hear that when you open an NGRS, the soul of a Japanese Airsoft tech leaves the receiver. You have to sacrifice another one to be able to seal his soul back into the receiver when closing it, otherwise it will never work again. You can find them on AliExpress of a couple of quid for a pack of 10. They’re a b*stard to get back together as the repair o-rings are approximately 0.4mm thicker. However, so won’t leak again as the fit is so tight. alternatively you could try soaking the OEM orings in boiling water. I find this is an urban myth personally… but several people swear by it. It apparently expands the oring back to its original size. Enid_Puceflange, Jacob Wright and Mr Dellski 2

It doesn't work that well for mag base hold by pins(works better on base fixed by a long screw, like WE glock mags or hicapa mags),but it still holds for a long time Jacob Wright

A liberal application around the inner edge of the magazine shell, then fit the base and insert the pins. Wipe off the excess and leave to cure (typically 24-48hrs). I’ve used this bodge on a few gas rifle mags with awkward o-ring sizes and it lasts a few months. With any of these bodges, they eventually fail. Popular Post MistakenMexican
Few bits of glock news: firstly it looks like TM have announced a new production date. Hopefully that means if you had a preorder with impulse, you’ll get yours! secondly, don’t have photos to hand, but guarder have teased on Facebook they’ll be doing a gen5 G34 and G45 based off the gen5 mos platform 😍 Edited April 14 by MistakenMexican Daveoc33, Enid_Puceflange, rj1986 and 2 others 4

They seem to have better gas stored and gas output compared to the old mags. I find my older glocks run much better on the newer mags, so whilst they’re quite expensive, they seem worth it. They’re still heavy compared to the guarder, prowin and TTI mags. rj1986

Popular Post MistakenMexican
The new agency arms slides just landed on my doorstep today 👍🏽 pretty happy with the first one! shamless plug, but I’ve started recording some of the tech work I do, and as a result, I’m in the process of publishing a few tech videos on the gen5 MOS.
