On a slightly less Battle-catty note… how often do you play at that Hells Pass site? I’ve been watching a few of your videos and I think I’ve convinced myself that I should drive up to Derby to have a go at shooting you!

Game time is limited at the moment as I'm trying to heal my arm before and after tattoos but if you had a rough idea when you were heading over then I'd try my best to be available 😉

Had an awesome evening at ZedMart last night. Forgot to bring a change of clothes for my top half so ran around in a hoodie I found in the van until I nearly dieded of heat exhaustion. Ended up playing in what I dub “Office Tactical” for a bit…

I ran the Infinity all night. Hop was set for 0.36’s but I was using 0.28 tracers. Once the Battlecat slide is in, I think that’ll be my dedicated indoor pew

 

How did your game on Thursday go? Saw your video where you and Kyle got shot in the back, that guy was super speedy!

Thursday was brilliant thank you, going to cut the footage into a "bite size chunk" montage of the best bits but probably without the "trap beatz". Yeah speedy boi really got us and was a plague that day, congrats to him as well as our team was 3 "experienced" players and 3 newer guys. Him and his other 2 buddies played aggressive, fair and fast all day.

 

I've about come to the same conclusion for a dedicated indoor machine, even bought a tester bag of 0.2 tracers as my mind is telling me indoors that wind isn't an issue so why not get a faster time to target?

 

You have completely ruined me though, I am thinking a 4.3 AM frame is needed to really put the icing on the cake.

I've also just picked up a Gold Match and very tempted to send it to Mike Cripps, so he can fit a black AM Limcat slide with Gold enameling etc.

 

How much would that negatively impact the cooldown side of things though?

If you change out the BBU at the same time for something lightweight, the increase in mass of the side will be offset by the decrease in the BBU

 

Limcat c.70g

TM c.40g

 

CCT BBU c.18g

TM BBU c.43b

 

I’d be tempted to get a AIP 120% set in there at the same time.

 

Steve - been typing out a reply to you at work. Once I’ve done a few deliveries and service jobs, I fully intend on finishing that!

Also, Kyle keeps telling me he’s sure that 4.3 parts will be coming from Airsoft Masterpiece once they drop the Battlecat slides

Kyle at HCH would easily and happily do the same for you buddy and I'd argue the customer interface is significantly better as well. Nothing against Mike, he is a little to the point at times which is kind of nice when you want to just smash an order in but Kyle is a lot more chill and really takes pride in his work.

 

The Gold enameling is just some paint he drops in and rubs the excess off, really nothing to it, nail varnish works just as well (in case you fancied a go yourself).

Blimey, what a week. got kit ready for tomorrow. Couldn’t decided what to take so both my higher end Capas are in the stack of kit heading to Finmere tomorrow. 
 

Ive grown very fond of the “surprised Pikachu” face on people when a guy pops out from behind a tree and tags them from comfortably out of range of their AEGs with a pistol. Makes me feel warm and tingly inside  The Limcat especially seems to send Geoff’s 0.36’s a long way in a straight line.

Steve, Kyle is the bad influence. Every time I buy something I think is pretty swish, he sends me a picture of something rare, discontinued or so nicely done that it puts me to shame! I couldn’t believe that even his grip safeties on the Silver and Gold Battlecat he did were AM, that thing must have cost a small fortune! 
 

Like you, as soon as AM have 4.3 STI frames. The Battlecat 4.3 is having one. With the Mi3D outerbarrel and the primary adaptor having a lightweight Guarder body, it’ll be a seriously lightweight build that’s going to be my dedicated indoor pew. You’ve made me have an epiphany regarding BB weight indoors, why am I shelling out on .28 Tracers when the max distance for a shot is going to be under 20m and without wind? As you’ve suggested, the reduction in time to target might even just give us the edge in the split-second nature of CQB

 

Very annoying to see AM’s Facebook update the other day was a valve tool and not the effing 4.3 slides.

Oh yeah. SS Airsoft have factory images on their website, the ones AM use to advertise with and I think it's battle flair are receiving stock this week.

It’s going to be a fun few weeks. With the Battlecat finally happening, Tanuki Works having the V4 of their KC02 adaptor incoming, Getting Ruger trades cut into my KC02 and getting a GHK G5 internal HPA/AEG mag converter there should be plenty to keep me occupied.

 

Ill have some photos of new toys that are basically porn soon 

 

Do need to buy some EPM-1’s for the G5 though. Where did you find the short ones @Steveocee

Patrol Base of all places. I tend not to buy from them as they usually are expensive, expensive for delivery and take an age but they were really good.
