Best at what budget?

Best for what purpose?

I can't recommend a good one, but I'll point out some things to watch out for on (for example) this 'un.

Small clips can make it slightly tricky to attach to thick sling points.  I've put big keyring style split-rings on my sling points to make it easier.

Note that the ends of the straps aren't doubled over.  This means they can pull clear out of the buckles, and they have done so on mine.

The elastic ends seemed like a good idea, allowing the gun to be slung tightly and then brought into position without slackening the straps.  In practice, there's not enough stretch to make much of a difference to transitioning, but enough elasticity so that the gun bounces when slung.

I mean, it works, but so does a bog standard 2 point shoulder strap repurposed from a sports bag for the cost of £0, with none of the drawbacks

True that. I've been using the carry strap that comes with the hunting bag I store my kit in as a sling for ages. Works just as well as any 2 point sling on the market.

Thanks for the reply!

I just didn't want to go and spend x amount on a sling and it just give way?

I know there is loads of Chinese import out there, just wanted to know something I can trust as we all know how expensive weapons are.

Again - how much do you want to spend? How expensive is your weapon?

I recommend one you can afford that holds your gun in place.

nothing silly really, but then again one that will keep it safe? so can't really put a price on it, yet again I don't mind paying for good quality?

I've recently paid £170 for my rifle!

Should be good enough and the price cannot be beaten. I recently bought an 8Fieldz JPC from here and the build quality is really good. I had a good tug on the seems and stitching and I reckon I can hang off a cliff without it breaking.

Postage to UK is just under £12 so you might wanna pick up a few other bits to off-set the cost.

OK, so while you may think you've paid a lot for your rifle, you really haven't. Any "airsoft" sling will do the trick. Once you start paying £400+ then I would suggest a decent sling like an actual magpul ms1, ferro concepts Slingster, bfg vcas etc all around the £50-£70 mark.

airsoft is just like every other hobby- you can have oodles of fun on the cheap or spend thousands on impressing strangers with your gucci kit.

for example today i had the mg42 up against a standard m16, guess who got hit within about 15s?
