bobbling
Just wondering if anyone kept a tally on how much they actually spend on their hobby? Does anyone still own and use the original kit they bought, or is a case of buying new gear or upgrading all the time if funds allow it? So basically I just want to know what everyone has spent so far?

Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted September 15, 2010 Supporters Share Posted September 15, 2010 currently on same kit as when I started (1 year ago) and only due to lack of funds due to guns soaking up my funding spent on guns £500? ish spent on gear £100? spent on ammo - don't want to know :/ probably £100 spent on visting sites £150? yeah. best thing to do is: 'never keep track of costs on a good hobby'

abbadon101
Considering I built one gun that cost £550 in total and bought my sopmod that set me back £650 I think I might cry if I really looked back through it all. I am probably looking at about £3500+ now and I have been doing it 2 years. Hmm I think it is best I don't dwell on this especially as I bought a Hurricane HK416 last week...... this doesn't look good does it.
Ex-STAB-Inf
Honestly so far: about £10 on some extra 58 water bottle pouches and £3 on a flecktarn Field cap for the summer and thats it. However in the new year when I can fully kick start this awsome hobby it shall go up somewhat - £130 on a CA Sportline M15 - approx £20 on a decent battery for said AEG - £30-40 on a few extra mags - £???? on a M1911 (however not sure to go for gas or electric yet

Supporters Rock-climby-Dave Posted December 3, 2010 Supporters Share Posted December 3, 2010 marui do an electric one I believe personally, I wouldn't get a sidearm for now, spend the money on mags, BB's and a lovely red dot

Sam1454
As I have been involved with the cadets for over ten years both as a cadet and an adult instructor, also involved with the territorial army most of my kit is multi roll multi purpose but all kit and weapons I'm looking close to £5000 in those years. Worth every penny

Supporters Matt! Posted February 27, 2011 Supporters Share Posted February 27, 2011 i think fishing would of cost a ###### site more! The cost of professional rod's and even pole rods is far greater than an airsoft gun dont forget line, reels and bait! Its a hobby who gives a ###### how much youve spent if you enjoy it
taroslice
i agree with matt... if its a hobby, why care how much you've spent. A great hobby! ...but expensive lol I myself have taken up the hobby for about 3-4 months now. Already spent approx £1k On guns, gas, bb's, tactical wear, and accessories.
