ASG 'Blaster' BB's Breaking in mid air!

So i picked up a bottle of .20g ASG Blaster bbs yesterday and this morning, after doing some maintenance on my aeg, i took a few shots at my target at the end of my garden and to my horror i saw one or two bb's disintegrate in mid air or on impact.... i immediately emptied my mag and put the bottle away. Im not sure whether all the bb's are like this or if it was a 'one in a million' chance sort of thing. Has anyone had this happen to them before with these bbs?

Also, i am contemplating on getting a 6.01/6.02/6.03 tight bore barrel, will these bb's fuck it up/jam at all or will they be okay?

Thanks

Blasters are all I use, they're generally accepted as one of the best BB brands.

Any and all BBs will smash on impact with something solid. With the exception of those new Bastard BBs that are made of the 3rd hardest element on earth...

okay now i feel like a complete moron. cheers ed, making me stand up to my name. xD

If in doubt it's always more sensible to seek the views of others than to keep quiet and later regret.

Of course the others could be complete muppets as well in which case you're screwed :D - btw I've had no problems with Blasters either

Yeah, they shatter on impact with each other even against something fairly soft sometimes.

I've always wondered if an aluminium air seal nozzle could actually break a BB, so thanks for that info, Mike.

I think madbull really missed a trick when they stopped manufacturing white BB's any heavier than 0.3g, but otherwise i'd say they're about the same, maybe a tiny bit more consistant than Blaster, but not as good as Blaster Devils.

The only time i have seen any deformations (cracks/dints etc) in a blaster (i use the 0.25's) was from my G&G L85, as the hop/barrel was miss-aligned :( and the spacing/alignment ring is missing  .

Other then that they seem pretty stable from my usage, aprox 36000 so far ;):D:D

^^Try shooting them full-auto into a sticky target. You'll see 'em shatter then, I promise you.

Never had an issue with Blasters, despite only having used about one bottle. I mainly use Bulldogs, but I've never experienced Blasters breaking mid-air. No idea what could be causing it for you :o
