  1. Hi All, Tried to search but couldn't find a topic on this Recently picked up a Gas M870 shottie that shoots in either 3 or 6 shots When I chronoed at home was putting out 5J on green gas on 3 shot - I've tried then to chrono with just 1 bb which was still showing 2.5j until I moved slightly further back (2-3inches - oooh errrr) from the chrono - then was getting 1J. I assume this was the unspent gas also exiting the muzzle and entering the chrono - skewing the data. My question: How do most sites chrono shotguns on the day? Want to try out my new toy - but dont want to be hit with a silly 20m MED because the chrono isn't reading right Cheers!
  2. Yeah sorry, definitely 24. Did double check both my AKs, neither of them have adapters like the Cyma's do. Very much appreciate the SRS adapter link, that is exactly what I was planning to make and somehow didn't come across it in my (admittedly quick) search

Looking to buy one of the iconic early GWOT eta Paca Body Armours, original or reproduction. TMC, Toysoldier, Flyye and PANTAC all made decently coloured reproductions so please search your cupboards!! thank you

  4. Yes, its likely the battery isn't powerful enough. Look for a 7.4v LiPo with the highest mAh (How long it lasts) and C (Max burst power) rating you can find that will fit in the battery space. All the usual places I would look (Turnigy/HobbyKing/ComponentShop) seem to be out of stock 🙄 But remember you'll also need a decent charger to make sure charge is optimal. Do a search on the forum as chargers have been discussed before. Also consider changing connectors to DEANS (T-plugs) for best current flow. EDIT THIS battery should work (check size) THIS charger (or similar) is the most basic THIS charger is good and a good price but note that it needs the DEANS connector on the battery.

Hi all, I am looking for a KJ Works 24rd gas magazine with the flat bottom as per image. This is purely as an aesthetic piece for my Inokatsu 1911, so ideally something non-working but would be happy with functional. Please let me know if anyone has one lurking in a boneyard pile or spares drawer. EDIT - I have been kindly informed by fellow member @you can`t shoot me that Tokyo Marui 1911 magazines will also do the job - so widening the search to include those. Thank you to them for the PM 👍 Needs to be the flat base plate version

  6. Great build, wasn't there one recently? tompairsoftwantgbbrifle, if you search in the classifieds you mine see something you like...
  7. Hey there I'm posting this thread to see how many people would be interested in AK to NATO thread adapters. Either 24 or 22 down to 14ccw for NATO muzzle devices. I've got access to a lathe and need one myself as one of the AK muzzle brakes I ordered is in 14ccw so disappointingly doesn't fit my AK. Had a quick google search and most results either came up out of stock or overpriced for what they are. It's completely possible I'm searching in the wrong place but regardless, is this something any of you lot are interested in? -Small note to mods, not selling as of yet but if this takes off I will take this to the classifieds : ) Maybe you're in the same situation as me or you think you'd like the look of your Russian RIF with that NATO can (looking cool is 90% of this hobby) or you feel like doing something just outright cursed to your AK. The other way is also an option, 14ccw up to 24/22. Just here to gauge interest at the moment so no promises. Thank you for any feedback you guys can give me. Hell, even some pointers on some that are in stock. If so, I'm UK based. I'm aware of the Ares Amoeba adapters (22 to 14) but I feel like if they did fit AK muzzles, they'd be marketed as being useful for that aswell(?) if you catch my drift
  8. Since that's a Magpul stock and handguard at this point, certainly could go all-in and get the lower. If you search up images of that combo though you'll likely find some to see how it looks, the Magpul handguard is so good that it's almost the default at this point and a lot of people have the ACR type stock as well.
  9. The fact that your auto correct went straight to ARSE probably means you need to delete your search history & cookie cache 😉😏🤣
  10. I stand corrected🤣🤣 Somehow my Google search ignored them. It's a shame the silencer sits above the front sight post so open sights can't be used
  11. So hey guys, I got a though problem with my new wasp piston. I ordered a Rapax RMS 3+, Wasp Piston, and Dampercylinderhead for my SSG10. With the stock piston it works fine, but with the Wasp I need to cock it really far behind like a Overpull. Also i need much force and can’t do a slow pull…. I got the Fluxtrigger. Could this be a problem? Sniper Mechanic said he tested the Fluxtrigger with the wasp. Iam lost with this problem, as I have no more points to search.
  12. Nope. This is a fairly well known issue, the CYMA replica's mount isn't 1:1 so cannot fit scopes properly. the forum search even discovers a post on here 3 years ago covering this -
  13. It would be amazing if some of the new people would use the SEARCH function before posting the same question as the last 20 threads on a particular gun.

  14. I was looking for a hard case for my MP7 and P99 and all the usual shops had ones that were too small or way too big. A search for flight cases and I found this. I thought I ordered it with pick and pluck foam but it arrived with a solid block so out came the craft knife and I've carved out enough to hold everything tight. It looks rough but as it is nothing moves so I might not bother tidying it up
  15. Just spent a month in UPS limbo back and forth with the RIF / invoices showing what it was. (B-11 foregrip for AK74su). Then I get an e-mail 6th June 9:40 Blah Blah Blah "As a matter of urgency, please provide us with your clearance instructions; including: Customs query: Under declaration Item 3, for commodity code 93031000 a DBT Licence is mandatory against document code 9100. Exemption type/document status “XX” is not valid for this document." So do the old googling and customs Gov search. Commondity code 93031000 is for Muzzle loading firearms and 9100 details the documents needed, (a firearms licence) My reply 6th June 10:52 Commodity code should either be 93040000 - Other arms (for example, spring, air or gas guns and pistols, truncheons) Or 93059900 - Parts and accessories of articles of headings 9301 to 9304 (Military weapons/revolvers/firearms/Other arms (for example, spring, air or gas guns and pistols, truncheons) These parts should be exempt as they are superficial parts that can't be used to create a firearm or change a Realistic Imitation Firearm into a firearm. Code 9020 - This product is exempt as it does not meet the definition of a firearm, component part of a firearm, ammunition or a restricted firearms accessory as detailed in domestic firearms legislation. This exemption covers items such as - Air weapons not subject to control or restriction under domestic firearms legislation. 6th June 16:15 Get the e-mail for Import charges are due for this package. Select Pay Now (where available) or pay at delivery. Delivered 10th June. One day it took to sort it all, i was raging. I'll be adding these numbers to my RIF declaration and purchase comments in the future.

  17. Tons still in armouries, still used, but fallen out of favour I'd say for sure. I had a search out of my own curiosity, and most pics of A3s don't have them, especially with infantry blokes - who are amongst the small portion of the forces using the L85 but also given some element of leeway in configuring it. In the pics where the grip-pods are mounted, I personally reckon it's mostly because the person was told they had to have it - which I'd say is most UK service people when using TES A2s. Foregrips in general don't always get along with AKs, which is why there's a few funky ones from ruskie brands that stick out at weird angles, so that's a specific issue in the OP's case and it's exacerbated because foregrips with integrated bi-pods are always the longest/tallest of all types of foregrip. While the real grip-pods (the GPS design that the US and UK have issued) are 'ok', they're still not the most durable thing which is unavoidable due to the design, so then when you make a replica with typical airsoft materials you usually end up with something very flimsy. I'd wager most people who've ever attached a bi-pod of any kind for a functional purpose vs emulating something real, have ended up taking it off again not long later, since they're usually in the worst place to add weight (near the muzzle) and are no assistance in terms of accuracy with guns that shoot minute-of-barn at their maximum effective range. They have niche uses of course, good if you're going to stay in a spot you can rest the gun for 20+ minutes and just cover one narrow alley, but not a ton else.
  18. You can get rough locations by typing the number on google. Information brokers like 192 can be used to search for people's info. The guy has probably used info that is publicly avaiable and likely isn't a "l33t" hacker. Probably some angry bald man who failed highschool. That said, watch your social media and where you post your info etc from now on, and retroactively, because they can all be traced
  19. Apologies if this is in the wrong section I am looking for indoor ranges to play with my 14 year old kids. We have played UCAP Bunker and UCAP HMP Dorchester. Both very good sites however we are looking for something new. Google search didn't seem to offer much unfortunately so I would rather ask pepople in the know. Preferably full auto sites.
  20. You're gonna be sat on this for a long time at that ambitious price. Sticking some attachments on a RIF and replacing some of the easier to replace internals does not a build make, especially when you're leaving two of the biggest weaknesses of the platform to chance still in the form of some internals for the sleepy trigger and the standard backplate that is known to break. Marui MP7 - £300 retail Metal front rail kit - £15 I've seen these for Angled grip - from a fiver to £35 depending on what brand it is Laylax (nineball) 6.00 power up barrel - Shit barrel Maple leaf autobot 60° bucking - Shit rubber Steel sear *unfitted - Fit the damn thing Pro arms 130% hammer spring *unfitted - You don't want to increase hammer tension as it's gonna ruin gas efficiency Guarder enhanced nozzle - £30 Pro arms 130% nozzle spring - Tenner Racegun steel Surefire muzzle brake - ??? If you think it has value take it off and sell it separately, or expect to pay 50% or less of retail when bundled in on a RIF Racegun steel Socom46 silencer - As above VG6 offset mount - As above Short stroke buffered - Ahh yes because I love further ruining gas efficiency, increasing the likelihood of missfeeds and/or nozzle damage Lightly polished bolt - Pics? Because judging by the rest of your 'build' you've done a ham fisted job of this and you'll have introduced more issues than you've 'solved'. ModLite OKW version high power search beam light (powerful) - Ooo, powerful, expect a chunk off retail on this when chucked in with a RIF, if you want anywhere near close to retail, sell it separately. Dual switch (DBAL / light) - Well done Blue laser DBAL (too powerful for games) - Don't put it on an airsoft gun then ??? Unity riser - Sell it separate if you want anywhere near value. Romeo6T multi reticle optic with flip caps (Evo gear high quality clone) - Ahh yes, Evo Gear, well known for their spotty QC, you're probably expecting 'UK Retail' for this rather than £90 or so you can get them from ali for lmao Daniel Defence swivel mount for sling - ??? If you think it has value take it off and sell it separately, or expect to pay 50% or less of retail when bundled in on a RIF 4x mags (1 permatex gasket sealed mag) - Well done you're selling 3 mags and one boneyard one you haven't fixed properly. 14mm CCW threads adapter (any tracer or silencer etc) - ??? If you think it has value take it off and sell it separately, or expect to pay 50% or less of retail when bundled in on a RIF Even being generous and valuing the MP7 at 70% retail, your various attachments at retail with no money off, the 'upgrades' at retail with no money off and all four mags at retail - despite one of them being boneyard in reality - you're at £478 minus the various attachments that are an unknown quantity/of unknown value. You might wanna think about why stuff you're listing keeps failing to sell through, hint, it's your crackpipe pricing, £265 for a £150 USP with a £20 Surefire on it is a particular highlight.

  22. Hi! Apologies if this has been answered previously, but I've had a look through a bunch of threads, read the classifieds banner, done some google searches and had a look through some of the legislation, but couldn't find a definitive answer. My understanding is that anyone selling airsoft weapons is personally responsible for verifying that whoever they are selling to has a VCRA defense, whether that be through UKARA registration or otherwise. I just wanted some guidance on how people generally achieve this? From what I gather, it's not possible to search the UKARA database as an individual - only registered retailers have access. Do I need to ask for details of where people regularly play and then verify that with the site operators? Could I be held liable for just accepting a UKARA registration number from someone if I don't have any way to confirm if it's valid?
  23. A Google lens search shows it was listed here but the ad was deleted. I'm guessing it ended up here at some point
  24. Rather predictably, this morning saw me at Airsoft Plantation, where I met up with around 180 other players for a day of slinging plastic at each other. After setting up and chronoing my recently overhauled and upgraded QBZ 97, which was shooting slightly hot, comparing guns, discussing the pros and cons of gas and gearboxes, and listening to the safety brief and the first game brief, our team set off for the mortar pits, while the red team went to the village. We had two lives, while the attackers had 10 medics, upon whom they had infinite regens. Their objective was to get three smoke grenades, which were carried in an ammo box, to their respective targets in the mortar pits. They could not open the box to find out where the objectives were until they were in the mortar pits and, if the player carrying the box was hit, they had to hand it to the medic who saved their life, who would give it to the next player who regened on them. I initially took up a position behind a berm towards the left side of the mortar pits. The enemy took a while to appear but, when they did, the recently upgraded SR47 showed that the work that I had done on it had been worthwhile; it was popping BBs out to a great distance and had a much improved trigger response. I got lots of good hits before being hit, whereupon I fell back to the bunker, from where the SR47 carried on as it had started until I was hit again, this time by an enemy player who had sneaked around the boundary berm on the left. I joined my other deceased team mates along the back of the site to watch the fun, which included a brilliant piece of work from a rental, who took out several of the enemy before being hit. Eventually, of course, the attackers achieved their objectives and, after a short visit to the safe zone to reload, the game was reversed. In this iteration, I was one of the medics; our attack was pretty direct and we pushed into the mortar pits, taking a lot of hits along the way, which kept us medics busy when we were not shooting the enemy. Our smoke grenades were set off at their targets in a time that was four minutes faster than that of our enemies. Hip hooray and tally ho, as Blackadder's Lt George would probably have said. The next game was a fallback using most of the site. The red team had to transport a casualty on a stretcher, which was a four person lift, from the far end of the woods to the border bridge, then to the town hall and finally to the plane in the DEA base; at each location, they had to set off a smoke bomb that was located there. They had infinite regens on a marshal who was 30m behind their rearmost player, while we had one life in the woods, another in the border/village, and a final one on the far side of the firebreak. We set up a two layer defence in the woods and I found myself being part of the second layer. The enemy's attack was quite slow, taking a long time to break down our front line, who were well supported by those of us in the second line. Eventually they did so and, after a bitter fight, we were overwhelmed and I made my way back across the border bridge. I decided to make use of the boundary ditch, which is largely sheltered by bushes and small trees, as a good location from where I could easily move back and forth and pot enemy players as they advanced past me. As some of you may remember, I have previously written about the different types of mud at AP and this location offered me a completely new variety to admire; it was reddish brown, clearly indicating that a different soil stratum exists along the far boundary, very smelly and extremely glutinous; I was as happy as the hippopotamus in the song by Flanders and Swann. This plan worked rather well as I was able to shoot passing players from the ditch and then scuttle along it to another position without being seen. Eventually, I heard a shout of "Game Over"; the enemy had timed out without reaching the town hall. Lunch followed and the somewhat filthy appearance of my boots and trousers was in contrast to everyone else in the safe zone. After lunch, the game was reversed, with our objectives now being limited to getting the stretcher and its casualty to the border bridge and the town hall, setting off their smoke bombs. The group that I was with formed the right flank of our attack in the woods, moving along the boundary and getting into lots of engagements with the defenders; although we took casualties, we worked well as a team and overran them reasonably handily. We then got somewhat bogged down at the border ditch and bridge due to a stalwart defence by the red team, which we we eventually overcame, but not before I twice had to go in search of the regen marshal. As the enemy had taken heavy casualties fighting at the border, we were able to push into the village reasonably rapidly, getting the casualty to the town hall and setting off the smoke bomb there. At this point, I had to leave as I needed to get home, sort out my kit, have a shower, and then get to Desertfest in Camden in time for Slift and the truly awesome, overwhelming and weirdly uplifting Earth. It was a typical AP day of airsoft, with well designed games, great play and lots of fun; it was played in a good spirit. I am not sure if I will be playing next Sunday; I am going to see Soft White Underbelly (aka Blue Oyster Cult) at the Islington Assembly Hall on Saturday evening and the thought of getting up early the next morning is not particularly attractive. Weapons used: Hurricane Kit SR47 MP5A2 (most of the externals are SRC, except for a CA SEF trigger group, and it has a mix of internal parts) ASG XP18 Commander (CO2) Drinks consumed: Water Tea
