  1. Hey guys, I know we already have a dedicated section but it's mostly used for site reviews, which I love reading from down here, especially Asomodai's ones, but I reckon it'll get more visibility here. I'm interested in hearing how your day went, whether it's a simple skirmish, a full day themed event or a hardcore milsim! In particular I'd like to hear anecdotes, something in particular that made (or broke) your day, or even just some venting because of one or multiple unpleasant events, maybe a super long range shot or if you snuck so close to someone you managed to tap him on the shoulder. These kinds of things Lemme start this absolute shitshow by telling you (I don't care if you don't care, you sit there and read) my day. So, today was the first game after the summer pause, it gets quite warm here in summer and people prefer to roast themselves on a beach rather than play with toy gnus, I was very excited as I took my new specna for a spin. Due to the relatively low numbers we invited another club to play with us (which from now on will be called "cheater club" but I won't bore you with the explanation), we ended up being 18 people, 12 of us + 6 of them and some randoms thrown in. The day started well, with the two first games being a little slow paced due to "the others" playing for the first time in the highest part of our field. Hit calling was generally good until the last three games. The first one of these three saw me sneaking up to 4/5 metres of an enemy sniper, who was unaware of my presence as he was focused on pinning down my teammates. Flick the gun to semi and let off a couple of shots into the only visible part, the head. Both BBs impacted. And this is where it all goes to shit. The guy visibly flinches, turns towards me and ducks into cover, to pop up later with his pistol, but I'm still there waiting, this time with the fun switch on, and let off a small bursts that gets him right in the forehead. Still flinches and dives back into cover. At this point I'm pissed, I hold down the trigger to keep him down while moving to the side to get a better shot, as we were separated by a small ridge. At this point half a flash mag has been dumped. When I get really close to him, must've been 2/3 metres at best, he pokes out of cover and lets off a nice full auto burst from his CO2 pistol in my neck. I'm not Shouty McYelly, so I call my hit and walk away. Game ends and the guy comes out of his little trench, bleeding with visible welts on his forehead. Didn't feel bad for a second about it. Also quite a few people were watching the scene so I didn't even need to say or do anything as it was pretty obvious what happened. The game after I'm on defense, I set up an ambush on a small side path on the left hand side of the objective and spot a 3 man squad coming my way, I let the first one pass and unleash hell on the second and third guy. The second enemy dives into cover while the third, a good 10/15 metres behind the other two, is still in the open, so I instantly direct the fire towards him. Now I'm not 100% sure I hit him as he was a good 40 metres away, but my gun does reach up to at least 55 metres, I was shooting down from an elevated position and the spread was still torso sized. Nonetheless, the target at first stands still in surprise and then runs away. Meh. Follows a nice exchange of bbs with my club's president (the first guy) but then I'm overran and eliminated. Still a bit puzzled by this "incident", but again, might have misjudged the distance but it seemed like I did reach that guy, as when the game ended he told me my bbs were zipping past him. The magic of airsoft and round lightweight ammunition. Then the last game of the day, we send the whole cheater club to defend a small chapel, we as attackers have two advantages. Range, because we are starting from the high ground, and terrain knowledge. We split up in 2/3 man teams as we always do, my mate and I decide to go on a huuuuge flanking maneuver that gets us behind the objective. At this point it gets ridiculous: We emerge out of cover right next to a girl who was looking at the opposite direction, none of us saw her (new nickname, Eagle Eye lol) until she moved a few branches. On the plus side she somehow didn't hear us. Great, let's spread out now so she doesn't fuck both of us up with a single sweep. Slowly creeping towards her, I flick the gun to semi, wait for my teammate to move a bit and then I pull the trigger.... Nothing, fuck's sake, the gun locked up. She notices us, turns around to shoot us but we're already behind cover: me in a dip protected by a bush, my teammate on the opposite side of the very tree she was using as cover. I draw my pistol, pop out of cover and fire 4 shots, hitting her in the side of the mask (from 3 metres, clearly saw the bbs hitting) as she was looking at my teammate. I dive back into cover, she turns around towards me and my mate puts 4 bbs in her side while she lets off a small unaimed burst between us. Note that this took some seconds so she had the time to call the hit, but she doesn't until she took my mate's balls (lul). The hit was called, but suddenly she starts yelling that she hit both of us and ran to cry about it to our club's president. I stare at my mate, he stares at me, we both shrug and keep playing. We both end up being taken out by her boyfriend, who got himself into a really cheeky position and was almost invisible from where we were (imagine a huge bush with the tiniest of tiny holes in it and a barrel barely poking out, good luck spotting that), good play by him and we complimented. A rollercoaster of a day, which started with the best premises but ended in disappointment. How did your day go? Did you have the same bad luck as me? Did you have a great time?

  3. Has anyone any experience with this type of hop up? It’s a golden eagle m4, I have installed a new hop rubber and bucking, but the bb’s still curve upwards. (It was doing it before installing new rubber) pew was a pre owned purchase. Apart from that it’s great fun and reliable. I have attached a pic of the hop assembly. I’m fairly sure I’ve installed the new hop and bucking correctly. Is there anything else I need to look out for? I’m using .20 bb’s do I need heavier weight? Thanks

Selling my VFC M733. It runs insanely good at around 300fps. I fitted an NPAS which can be turned using an Allen key to adjust FPS to site limits. Be mindful of this and ensure you adjust accordingly. Please also note that the bolt has some worn screws on the top from where the factory decided to loctite the damn things and I needed to dissemble the bolt to install the NPAS. This doesn’t affect functionality at all but I’ve taken the price down being mindful of This damage. Most people tend to buy a VFC steel bolt anyway which I would recommend as these factory ones will eventually wear down. minimal wear on the outside apart from the barrel having some marks from having a torch mount and the stock. it comes with x4 30 round gas mags which are in good condition. Bear in mind that 2 of the mags are leaking gas which I haven’t got around to fixing as they have sat in a box for ages so it will come with a VFC mag repair kit accordingly to fix that issue. It will come with the Ferro Slingster as well as the cheap holographic, suppressor and accompanying flash hider. It will also be posted with a pretty nice gun bag to boot. I won’t be parting anything, what you see is what you buy as a package. and please no messages asking to hold it or wait. If you don’t have the funds, don’t ask to buy it. Happy with collection but postage is on buyers dime.

  5. I'm hoping someone might be able to help, I've had a keyword search through the forums but can't seem to find anything relating to the current problem I have with my MWS. I'll insert a full magazine into the rifle and pull the charging handle back to get it ready to fire. I'll fire one shot and then the bolt gets stuck halfway through cycling and won't fire any more. The gas doesn't vent out of the magazine when this happens either. I don't think it's the loading nozzle as the first shot ALWAYS leaves the rifle as it should. This happens with all of my magazines. The gun is stock and I'm using 144a gas.
  6. Remember that airsoft batteries are much smaller (fewer cells) than in the videos above. While they can spit fire or pop it wouldn't be as violent as seen in those videos. I think charging a 7.4v battery in an old cooking pot (without lid) would contain any fire as long as there isn't anything flammable too close. 11.1v Li-Po's would need a slightly bigger container but not much. This also shows how important it is to get a GOOD intelligent charger that would stop charging when the battery is full or if there is a problem.

  8. Cheap brands and optics will have laughable parallax and performance issues, especially the eotechs and other fancy scope types. If you shell out a bit for a vortex crossfire red dot, you'll never need anything else. I have this and a sparc ar and they are both top notch. That being said, I recently went for a vector optics maverick gen 2 which was about £60 on sale at opticswarehouse and my god this thing is quite amazing as well. The parallax effect is pretty much unnoticable when shifting my head, and I've used it for several games days, even on my sniper rifle for fun, and it has held up very well. Would recommend that specific sight, can't vouch for the others.

Hi, ALL! 👋 Not being able to do Airsoft.... decided to make a video and post my intro on YouTube.... my 1st vid, so don’t expect anything fancy and go easy.... like a Rookie starting Airsoft! 😂 Sort out a link properly when I can, just set this up a few days back.... 😜 Look forward to getting back on the field, when we get the all clear! 🔫👍 Lastly I do have a status update on the topic! Any positive feedback, always welcome! 🤔👍 💷GAMBLE💷 Heres it is: 😎👍
  10. Yes. They use OEMs to manufacture the items, then the companies get them branded for their own products independently. Neither make anything themselves specifically. Hence, they're in the same manufacturing location, because they're the same product from the same OEM. And this means that warhead *is* a rebrand regardless of any juxtapositioning. Easiest example of this in recent times is Nuprol. They don't make anything themselves either.

Selling my Genuine Eotech 551. Clearly you can see its in used condition but works perfectly. Priced to sell. Not looking for anything silly for it, its used but functional and does have marks all on it but no delamination of pain. It had to be grinded a tiny bit underneath to fit my ICS Rail but does not affect functionality at all and has a small "custom made" spring in the left battery compartment as old one fell out and was lost but again it still works perfectly well. Paypal (buyer pays fees) or bank transfer only. £100 ono.

As per the title this hasn't been taken to a game day, in fact I haven't even played since purchasing it a few months ago - hence the reason for sale. So it comes with everything it would as new and is in more or less the same condition. For those who don't know, this is the premium bundle which includes an extra mag (complete with matching grey cover) and the quick detach suppressor. I've been the first to doubt Vorsk's products, I certainly wouldn't choose one of their Glocks over a TM. However this seems to combine the performance and reliability of the Japanese KSC System 7 internals and more solid, modern externals. In the few times I've used it for plinking, it's always locked back, even after bursts of full-auto and fires right up around the 350fps mark on a 0.20g. Even the stock is far more solid than on many other SMG's I've had and has a useful built-in pivot feature. Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Please PM me any questions, as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

  15. Why is the UK market for good programmable lipo chargers (like the Turnigy Accucell 6) so barren these days? I can't find anything decent for a reasonable price (unless I AM expected to pay £90 for one...) Anyone got any recommendations?

  16. You can't go wrong with either TM (only if it's P90+, don't spend money on bone stock P90's because trigger is ass on all of them...) or Krytac. I own an Alpine (which is pretty much identical to a regular Kry P90 minus the side rails, colour, and low profile rail kit) and one of the best P90 I ever handled to be honest. Adjustable trigger is insanely good. 50/200 rounds magazine is a nice touch as well. Doesn't shoot on empty. It's just on another level. They don't need anything to be upgraded. Marui runs forever as long as you leave it stock. Yes, Krytac has many proprietary parts I think that's the only downside to choose over Marui. Never had Novri P90 but their customer service has a horrible reputation just bear that in mind before you jump into one.

  18. I thought it might be useful to have a phone mount on my plate carrier so that I can use the Ares Alpha app to see my location, that of the objectives etc. So I got myself a cheap mount from AliExpress that protects the phone and holds it securely in place (in landscape mode) on my chest. I can then simply open it up slightly, see my location on the map and close it again. And then I started testing it: To unlock my iPhone you swipe up from the bottom, however the mount has a strap over the phone to hold it in place and you can’t do it without sliding the phone out. ❌ Face ID on the iPhone only works if it can see your face but I’ll be wearing a mask. ❌ Ok I enable ‘unlock with Apple Watch’ but the phone will not do it when in landscape mode, only portrait mode ❌ So I enter a passcode but I would have to take off my gloves to do that ❌ When the phone is unlocked I can’t actually see anything as it is too close to my face and I would need to wear my reading glasses to see anything detailed. ❌ But apart from that it really works nicely😂
  19. If you mean a road-legal 250W electrically assisted pedal cycle, I would thoroughly recommend them. I use mine for a 12 mile (each way) commute with an 800 foot climb, recharging during the day so that I can use full power both ways. It means that I arrive without being soaked with sweat, and turns the climbs from a nightmare into a breeze. I ride a Halfrauds special Carrera Subway, bought on the Ride to Work scheme as a salary sacrifice, which brought the cost to my pocket down significantly. Not the lightest, but disk brakes, bolt points for luggage racks, mudguards and sidestand, the same power as any other EAPC, and reasonable battery life - I've done 40 miles on minimum power, but that was with some pushing on beyond 16mph where the motor actually cuts out. You'll quickly find a riding style that suits you, either using the motor just for hill climbs, or putting in the minimum pedal effort to keep it at the cut-off limit. I'm at about 2500 miles and ~125 charge cycles, and am starting to see some slight range loss, so I'm doubtful that it will make it to the claimed 500 cycles. Temperature also plays a part - like all battery tech, they don't enjoy the cold. The front wheel is quick-detach on the Carrera, and I do occasionally sling it in the back of my car, but if you want folding and portable, the MiRiDER gets a lot of love from its owners. One thing, there's a consultation ongoing about increasing the maximum power to 500W (constant) and allowing twist-and-go without type approval, so you may want to hang on and see how that works out. Anything more... pokey... than 250W sustained / 400W peak is technically a motorcycle like any other, with all the licensing/registration/VED/MOT/insurance/helmet laws that go with that. However, there's observably very little policing of pedal cycles, or electric transport in general. Most DeliverEats drivers ride Allegro emotorcycles with 500W motors and twist-and-go throttles, which are essentially what the proposed new limits would cover. However, that would move us out of alignment with the EU limits for EAPCs, so it might end up getting shelved.
  20. Evening all, long time no see 🖐️ - hope you're all well! So, I'm only noticing now the price jump between .32 to .36 gram BBs, as I've never actually used above .3 myself. Anyone know exactly why that is? Off the cuff, I can think of three possibilities: - Less sale and production volume of .36 + sold. So, to justify production they need to sell more (there is probably an economics term for that lol) - At that weight they need to start incorporating a heavier core to the BB that adds more weight than the standard plastic / ABS can create? So a more complex production? (I think I'm just plain wrong here, never heard of anything like this) - The final reason I could think of was that at .36 grams the industry considers you to be moving from common AEG weights into single shot sniper rifle territory, therefore less ammo is consumed, and a higher price is justified. The most stark and easy to see example of this is with Geoffs, where there is very gradual incremental price rise from .2>.25>.28>.3>.32 and then a massive leap from .32>.36. We are talking £14.29 & £17.99 for 3k .32 Standard and Precision respectively, and then a whopping £38.79 & £52.29 for .36 - not a jab at outdoortactical below, as the pricing seems to be pretty universal across the 4 shops I checked who had Geoffs and the trend does also seem to apply to other brands too. https://www.outdoorandtactical.co.uk/?post_type=product&orderby=popularity&s=geoffs+BBs

This solid case comes in tan and is only showing light signs of wear from the several times I've used it. So plenty of life left in it, but as I haven't been to a skirmish in over a year, it's just taking up space. It's made from a durable polymer, with some natural flex but not like creaky ABS. Both the wheels and handle are reassuringly well engineered and the springy wave foam is easily removable should you wish to replace it. Specs from Nuprol's Website: Nuprol Large Hard Case is designed to keep your airsoft guns protected while not being used or being transported to and from the game thanks to its durable casing & inner wave foam. Features: IP67 Dust & Water Protection 4 easy closing latches to keep it shut. Wheels on the bottom with a handle at the top to easily pull the case along. Side handle to carry by hand. Inner padding on the top and bottom to hold the contents secure and protected. 2 Padlock holes on front edge. External Size: 109×39×15cm (42.92x15.35x5.91 inch) Internal Size: 101×32×12.5cm (39.76x12.59x4.92 inch) Weight: 5.5kg Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier (which at this size and weight isn't going to be cheap!). 22. Hey all! We are a Scotland-based airsoft team (with a page on this site!) and I'd like to introduce our YouTube channel. Our newest video is from a recent Halloween charity event where the team came dressed as holy men (a Cardinal and his Monks), taking our role seriously in an effort to inspire our team to victory. We wrote a small piece about it on our website, too. We're not professional video-makers or anything, the channel has a small following, but we enjoy playing the game and hope to share some of the fun via Youtube. The channel's got plenty of gameplay footage from a bunch of Scottish sites, such as Section 8, the Depot, Area 66, Enemy Down, the Fort, and Fife Wargames, for anyone looking to check out any sites in advance of their visits, as well as a few trips into England to places like Dirty Dog and Level 2! We've also been lucky enough to feature in a few of the famous Scoutthedoggie's videos, like The Stargate, Krytak Trident LMG in action, and Royal Huntsman! Hope you enjoy!
  23. Looking at it online it looks like it should take regular hi capa nozzles. It's not got any fancy RMR cuts or anything and I believe Army is the OEM making them.
  24. I put the mag in, pull the bolt back and the magazine empties into the gap left by the bolt. There's nothing I can see to stop the bbs from just shooting out into the empty cavity, and I can't find anything online that says I'm missing any parts. I'm stumped, and I want to use this tomorrow at combat airsoft.
  25. As I said, it's either back to school syndrome or post-purchase regret. This is honestly one of the best (or worst for the seller) examples why you should always consider rental for starting out and never spend big on anything you have to two-tone.
