  1. Yes - the weight is more down to the hop in the gun and the environment you're pewing in.... outdoors you want a .25 or .28 really otherwise leaves become a deflector screen, and Bush wookies might not feel the impacts. If you're indoors, then I see no need to use anything more than .2s. With increased weight comes increased cost too. There's a thread with a spreadsheet somewhere on the forum with links and prices - I'll see if I can find it. Here we are:

I purchased this brand new and before I'd even pulled the trigger once, sent it off to Luke at Negative Airsoft for him to turn into the best lightweight DMR it can be. Because I don't know about you but personally I think it makes more sense to have a gun you can actually shoulder repeatedly and carry around all-day. This has all of the reach but far less heft than some of its counterparts, such as the SR25. It's had helical gears, bushings, piston, piston head, nozzle and tappet plate spring, in order to optimise its performance. However, the most significant (and expensive) internal upgrades come in the way of the Perun AB++ MOSFET and Warhead Brushless motor. However to further increase the always sought after range and accuracy, I installed a ZCl inner barrel and Maple Leaf Macron+Omega combo. The Airtech Studios barrel stabiliser is the the icing on the cake in that regard. I tested it yesterday and set the hop so it was so it was starting to lift 0.36's at the end of my 30M garden (it definitely wanted to stretch it's legs way beyond). It was giving me a consistent 313/1.64J - which is perfect for my regular site. I've found you can affect this number by using a different weight of BB, so you need to apply more or less hop. For example it was giving me 1.88J when set for a 0.32. Alternatively you could just change the spring, as this does have a quick change spring. Albeit the type where you need to remove the gearbox first. It's only been skirmished about three times and then stored in a high quality rifle bag (not included). In fact it hasn't actually been skirmished since Luke last opened it up. So it's in excellent condition both internally and externally (although yes, some minor marks may still be present). It will come in its original box with an extra G2 90 round mag, which has the follower that activates the stop on empty feature. Honestly I haven't decided yet whether to include the V7 stock (which was nearly £60 by itself) or the original. Link to Negs video where he's doing the bulk of the work: (it's been back to him between then for further improvements and health check). Stated price includes PayPal fees and Parcelforce 48 courier. Please PM me any questions, as I don't get notified of anything asked on the listing.

As per the title, this is not a piece which has been bashed around an Airsoft site. Because of this it's in excellent all-round condition. Nit-picking you'd notice minor paint wear on the rear sight. Nothing else stands out as I look over it, but I've taken photos from a variety of angles in natural lighting, so the potential buyer can see for themselves. Please note, this was previously listed with real walnut grips included. That is no-longer the case, this will now come with its original plastic ones. The price has been lowered to reflect this. I believe these really are the pinnacle of Airsoft revolvers. My understanding is that the frame is made from metal and barrel from plastic but honestly, the finish is of such high quality, I couldn't even say for sure what's what when holding it. Holds 14 rounds, so definitely skirmishable if you're so inclined. In that environment it would definitely make up for anything it's lacking in range and accuracy, by the sheer awesomeness of getting kills with a revolver. Stated price includes PayPal fees and postage. Please PM any questions, as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

  5. Your options are: -Pay more for the LPC with ROC buckles (quick release cummerbund), placard front and built-in admin pouch -Pay less for the DCS but no quick swapping of front pouches and you've got to do the big velcro ritual for the cummerbund every time UK-T's pouches names are way overly-specific tbh. Double pouches with flaps for AR mags will hold at least one of every other common type of mag. If you're on a budget I'd go for this and you're literally set for anything you'll likely to ever actually use in one fell swoop. https://www.uktactical.com/product/warrior-dcs-m4-plate-carrier-combo-with-5x-556-m4-covered-mag-pouches-2x-utility-pouches-18873#?variant=209 I think WAS may be moving all (or at least a portion) of their production over to laser cut stuff since they setup in the UK, so it may be worth grabbing the non LC line stuff if that's what you fancy sooner rather than later. Just a guesstimate though.

Bought this new to go with some new camo I wear. Only worn once in the house and decided I didn’t like it so it’s never been worn in the field or had anything attached to it size is a large can post or deliver (within a close enough area)

  8. Thanks, I told him to just use the terrain or branches to hold the gun up. Anything that makes it notably heavier I think is bad news, one of its key things is it’s so light. I’ll get him to try again and see what he says. Great idea on the pouch, I’ve used something similar for camera lenses in the past.

This was only briefly fitted, but never skirmished with it on. Unfortunately one of the rear sight Allen screws rounded, so there are some marks on and around the rear sight block, from where I had to remove this. However I tested it after and everything worked as it should. I've tried to capture overall condition accurately, by taking photos in natural light. This is a very high quality one piece CNC upgrade for the AAP-01. Not only does it look and feel great, but it gives you a top and bottom rail for lights and optics etc. Stated price includes PayPal fees and tracked courier. Please PM me any questions, as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the listing.

  10. Friend picked up the Perun equipped AK-12 a good few months ago and he's ran it through the ringer and it hasn't missed a beat if that's anything to go by. I've heard the zenit styled PE PP-19s are awesome too, so I can't see them the PPK-20 being any different. Their PP-19 has a 250mm barrel and the PPK looks similar in size so I'm assuming it's the same? Not quite sure on that one honestly
  11. i am in West Drayton (close to heathrow) are you in london as well? . . , . Amazing tips, guys! Thank you! is that one in cobham, surrey still open? Ive messaged them but no reply so far… anything in particular that I should look for when buying my first pistol/rifle?
  12. I apologise for the terrible photo but anything I took with the rear camera was too big a file to upload. Considering I didn't use an undercoat (the grey just peeled straight off) and it was cheap matt black wheel paint from poundland, this hasn't turned out too badly.
  13. Ahoy and welcome. No need to over-think it. Find a site near to you, and book a rental package. If you enjoy it and reckon that you'll stick with it, then you think about purchasing options. Renting isn't as expensive as it looks though. A rental package is typically £20 more than a walk on, but you'll get through £10 or so worth of BBs anyway, so it's really only £10 a day to rent a gun and support for it without investing anything yourself. Waiting the 8 weeks / 3 games before getting a site membership / UKARA number will give you time to cadge a go on some guns and figure out what you want to buy. There's no need to go as a team or with anyone else. There will be a brief for rentals covering the basics, and airsofters tend to be a friendly bunch. You'll easily enough get talking to folk on site. Just ask someone about their guns and gear and see if you can get them to shut up.
  14. The fake bolt lugs? Yeah they don’t do anything but you can transfer them from the old one if you are really fussed. The GM nozzles are good and the three pack of rocket valves for modding are cool too.
  15. SCAMMER! Do not buy anything from him , took my rif I recently got from him to be assessed at patrol base and not one thing was right . Nothing was what he claimed it to be and was done at poor standards to the point as when i put in a battery it burst into flames!! It took him 2 whole weeks to send his end of the trade after he said he’d send it the same day. Then to top that starts selling parts from my end of the trade before he’d even posted his ! 18. <but-why.gif> The X-ASR just does trigger protection and (maybe) allows for more current slow. However, it also likes to pet its lip if you are running a meatier motor and spring. Something like a Perun AB++ gives you far more features. Motor and/or run 11.1V. I like the Big Dragon M140 as a decent improvement over stock motors for not a lot of money when bought direct from Ali Express. Heaver BBs, clean the barrel and maybe fit a Maple Leaf bucking (e.g. 60 yellow) and omega nub. The stock M90 spring in the Specnas can benefit from being swapped out for something stronger, but air seal uber alles, and I'd always recommend buying a chrono first before doing anything that might effect the muzzle energy.
  19. The main benefit for body worn type cameras is so that you get an impartial view of events. Ppl are awful for providing evidence, of anything. Let's have them everywhere I say
  20. I go with twist the hood from the bottom until about half remains and then fold the resulting “pocket” over the twist. It’s possible to secure it with the draw cord but almost anything else is easier! If you use the hood as a tie out as well it tends to avoid it somewhat. I’ve linked an old video by PackRat556. I have no stand for the phone to film and a video explains this much better. I don’t use reflective sheets quite the way he describes. It is a moisture barrier but you need an air gap for it to reflect heat so an air pad is needed. If you have a fire it would be more effective as the back wall. My technical support agrees. Next chunk will be general tarps and a ridgeline you can change easily. Plus a few useful but cheap accessories. Then maybe something on hygiene! The cat walked mud in. 🙄

I offer SOFTWARE for Arduino stopwatches with a second counter for Airsoft, Paintball game - Capture Point game mode. Project description: Domination Timer is a device - a stopwatch for sports such as Airsoft, Paintball, which allow you to measure the time of occupying a point with a resolution of seconds. The stopwatch is equipped with a 16x2 / 20x4 LCD character display. After switching on the device, it is possible to switch between menu items on the display using the rotary encoder - KY-040. Through the items, it is possible to start the Domination Timer game mode, which responds to user buttons (inputs), or it is possible to set the time of team occupancy before the game in the configurable mode. This parameter represents the required length of holding the button until the team successfully occupies the point. This configurable parameter is implemented for the number of seconds. The second configurable parameter is the automatic end of the game to reach a certain number of hours of the stopwatch with the UNLIMITED option - when the stopwatch counts to infinity, or after the maximum display time on the display - 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds. Stopwatch is using Arduino microcontroller (with AtMega chip) or a it can use that chip stadalone. Chip controls whole Domination Timer settings, logic of stopwatch etc. There are 2 teams in the game - RED team and GRE team, which play against each other and occupy the imaginary point that is formed by this device - Domination Timer. At the beginning of the game, the display shows the times 00 hours, 00 minutes, 00 seconds for RED team, GRE team. Button Domination Timer uses button input for the action of occupying a point by a team member, as well as for input of a referee entity. Thus, a total of 2 buttons for 3 system entities, the switching buttons connected in the INPUT_PULLUP mode are used. Pressing the button feeds the GND signal to the Arduino digital input terminal (Active-LOW switching signal). Switch buttons are used, not switch buttons (they would not react to the system logic, all software would always be "pressed"). The configurable Domination Timer responds to the length of the press, which is set in the configuration menu via an encoder. It is required to hold the button for a given time. The system does not respond to short presses. In the extended version, it is also possible to set point neutralization (stopping the time of the active team at the point if a member of the other team holds the button at least 50% of the required time) The times are displayed on an LCD character display measuring 16x2 or 20x4, which communicates with the control microcontroller via the I2C bus. If a team member of the RED team occupies a point by pressing a button, a buzzer is launched, which announces a change in the point with a short beep. Then the RED team's LED at this station will light up and the display will start adding time for that team. If the point is occupied by the GRE team and the team member presses the appropriate button, the buzzer sounds again, the GRE team LED lights up, the RED time is paused and the time of the GRE team that occupied the point is counted. The referee must stop both buttons at the same time to stop both times. Times are stopped until the point is reoccupied by some of the teams in the system This type of input is thus suitable for starting a break, but it can also end the game for its evaluation. In the case of the COUNTDOWN game mode, the combination of both buttons is intended to stop the countdown time! The new game is implemented by resetting the entire Arduino board via the RST button, or by disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply. In the menu it is also possible to configure the activity / inactivity of the buzzer, which can also be included in the game. Domination Timer game mode uses a buzzer to announce the current occupation of a point. Eraser does not exist in this type of Domination Timer. A second game can be implemented in the system - countdown, which allows you to set a minute countdown while it must be stopped. The player stops the countdown by holding both buttons for a certain time (based on the configuration menu for the length of pressing from Domination Timer). Configuration menu is divided into: Start of the game DOMINATOR (2 teams) Setting the time for filling a point (how long the player should hold the button - X seconds) Set maximum game length (unlimited / X hours) ON / OFF detector in the game Countdown setting for countdown game (X hours) Start of game COUNTDOWN (1 team) All times and settings are stored in the EEPROM memory of the Arduino, they are available even after disconnecting and connecting the power supply, it is a non-volatile memory. The transcription limit is at the level of 100 thousand. The display is limited to a maximum of 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds. The 16x2 and 20x4 LCD display is fully compatible. Hardware inventory: Arduino Uno / Nano / standalone AVR chip AtMega328P LCD character display 16x2 / 20x4 I2C converter for LCD display 2x buttons (switch) 360 ° rotary encoder - e.g. KY-040 (or similar) 2x LEDs Optional - buzzer I offer the program in .hex machine code (compiled firmware), so you can't edit or change anything of webapp. The project can be tested in advance in a test version with a measurement of max. 1 minute for each team. The program in .hex can be uploaded to Arduino via the AVRDUDE tool, or Xloader, which has a graphical interface for easier control. Firmware is available for I2C communication address of LCD display 0x27 or 0x3F. More about project: https://martinius96.github.io/Airsoft-DOMINATOR-RFID/en/dominator-encoder.html Alternative contact: [email protected] Shareware version of project: Project can be tested for free in shareware version that i available on project website. It have some limitations, like... Maximum game time 1 minute in DOMINATION game mode. After this time both times will be paused. Also there is not possible to use COUNTDOWN game mode. If you don't have hardware yet, you can try it in Wokwi simulator: https://wokwi.com/projects/345627939761554003

Cyma CM041 H MP5 in great condition, used for around 3 skirmishes in total but I'm slowly becoming a GBBR convert and want to free up some funds for a new purchase/upgrades. These are great RIFs out of the box and have a lot of great reviews. Apart from the Cyma standard mosfet is made from cheese, but this has been replaced. Running on 11.1v Li-po's this is shooting around 25rps and is reaching out to around 60m on .28s-.30s. Internal upgrades of: Rocket O ring air nozzle Perun V2 Hybrid mosfet Maple Leaf Macaron 60 deg bucking and Omega nub Wired to Deans Comes with: 2 x Cyma polymer 130rnd Midcaps 1 x Cyma 500rnd Hicap I'm open to swaps. Mainly looking for SMG's/GBB's as a preference and not particularly interested in anything 'speedsofty' (sorry, just not my thing).

  23. On the cooker side of things, heard great things about alpkits bru kit, which is a copy of the jet boils and are about £50. I was always a fan of a hot chocolate flavoured protein porridge just before sleep, generally meant there was hot water for a metal bottle with a sock around it to act as a hot water bottle. Anything that helped me get good sleep in the 4-5 hours of rest I'd get was very welcome. Wet clothes were removed, but important clothes I'd have to wear again were generally added to my sleeping bag to dry them out (or at least keep them warm, warm wet clothes were better than freezing wet clothes).

picked this up about a year ago, have yet to actually mount it to anything for longer than a few minutes, to test. Doesn’t quite fit the aesthetics of any of my builds. Works perfectly (actually slightly better than my HW exps optics.) Holy Warrior are the MVPs of Chinese repro optics. Doesn’t really get better than this, unless you’re willing to drop the £850 for a legitimate uh-1 g2. selling as I need to downsize.

  25. Agreed, I'll use just about any gunk in a gearbox, but for sliding parts, only lightweight oil (3-in-1) for metal to metal, or silicone lube for anything involving plastic.
