I'll be picking mine up mid-Jan from CamoRaids once they reopen from the festive break. I for one am very excited, more & more details coming out which shows those who've had theirs are getting to grips, tweaking the hop etc. and getting better performance than initials I'm confident I'll be happy with the performance, besides, it's a Marui & they all come underpowered out of the box from Japan. Whilst it's early days, I've asked the guys at Camo not to rush mine through when they reopen for business - Happy for them to crack mine open and take a look / fettle & add any recommendations Will share any updates as & when the build progresses.

Can't knock the quality of the Airsoft Face Pro products, just his service of over promise / under deliver coupled with some fictitious postage details & verrrrrrrry long lead times is the reason why I now pick up these things from Delta Mike Face Pro

One from last week at Apocalypse Airsoft. Bit of a shakedown for the AKS47 putting some rounds through it & zeroing in prior to a Milsim at the end of the month. No Gucci kit apart from the RIF! - £10 Oliver jumper / £15 combats with knees / Gloves £1.99 / boonie a cheap eBay jobbie at .99p & a chest rig sourced at a bootfair for less than a tenner. What doesn't come out in the pic is I'm wearing a tan mesh snood with metal mouth guard sourced from Delta Mike Face Pro - Solid piece of kit, nice & stretchy so covered my neck, lower face up to the bridge of my beak, over the ears tightens up with the fastener on the back, worked really well & a decent compromise vs. face mask or being hard & not having any Face Pro. Loadouts don't have to be expensive (which nicely contradicts my usual Peacocking posts!!)

£20 + £3 postage was what I paid from Delta Mike Sure Airsoft Face Pro was a fiver more expensive as well

100% agree with this - AirsoftFacePro awful service, response & lead times which is a shame as his products are decent. That being said Delta Mike Face Pro come highly recommended, responsive, keeps a decent amount of stock available & generally has his mesh snoods to you within 48 hours. Well worth a punt

One of my more expensive investments, taking my love of Tags that step further & went for the Tag Innovations ML36 launcher with standalone chasis. Been rolling Op4 for a few years now, so thought it prudent to finally roll out with an Op4 primary! Been mulling over a TM Type3 AK for some time, was never 100% on the standard wood (look) stock. Recent trip to my local Marui supplier I spotted the AKS - Like the idea of the sliding stock, makes this feel a bit more compact & bare bones set up. Looking forward to putting this through its paces in the coming weeks

I'll play devils advocate & state this is my local haunt & go to site, visited other sites in Kent which have their own plus & minuses, but enjoy Apoc on a regular basis which keeps me coming back & being part of their regular Milsim series. As stated site is huge, they only use Zone 1 for Sundays - Zone 2 is opened for Milsim events, good that the site owners have a vision to continually reinvest & develop the site, also for us regular Milsimmers who attend the site there's been some great FOB development as well. Numbers have regularly been +100 for some time, a quieter day is more around the 50-60 mark, was there recently & were 200+ in attendance UKASA pitch not as much now Shame about the comments regarding Martin - He can be quite a marmite chap & I get it, that being said I like the guy & always got on with him. Marshals are good guys & generally if something is bought to their attention they deal with that on a case by case scenario. Equally us Skirmishers / Players are often a unique breed, maybe Martin has succumbed to that & adapted 😁 Toilets I agree but I generally like to clear out prior to an event to not have to succumb, however that being said bucket-flush over portaloo any day for me!! Site is never going to be for everyone, hence Kent having a decent selection if Apoc isn't for you.

I posted a picture recently of the TLSFX Mortar & bangs which I acquired - After reading this I'm somewhat disappointed I wasn't pulled up on the throwback to the 60's table cloth on show!! Anyway - Back on topic, invested in some TagInn Multi R launching shells, ditched off my green gas variants & opted for C02, added some Kydex TRMR holders which do the job perfectly. Looking forward to playing around with these, but need to hoover the office floor first!!
