I had that issue with my G18 the other day, I put it down to the cold weather! I ends up running it on green gas for the day and it was stunning! I got home, refilled it with 144 and fired off a few shots in my garden and it was fine again. What I'm pointing at is, is your gas getting cold?

What about the TM MP7? Aren't they supposed to be the most efficient GBB SMG?

Don't worry, I bought 2000 .4g King arms grey BB's! I shot 30 before buying a bottle of Nuprol .43's! Worth keeping though. The enemy has a harder time seeing the dark colours too!

I just zeroed my ASPUK VSR, Impossible in my back garden. I paid a local gun club £5 to use their 100 meter range. I zeroed at 65 meters, then moved back to the 100 meter mark to see how much the BB dropped and vise versa I moved forward to the 50 meter mark to see how the point changed. It's well worth doing it properly. I'm going to be taking all my pistols and AEG's down there to set up! £5 well spent

Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm trying to find a Sight that will fit my Scar L . Sounds weird but my holosight will not tighten up enough to grip the top rail! (Can you buy spacers?)

I don't know if you can do that? I was thinking that was the issue, I've done what DX115FALCON has said and the pics are superb but that's because the camera can take it's time. In time lapse mode there doesn't seem to be a control for the shutter speed?

OK guys so I have my gopro mounted to my fast helmet by the NVG mount. I've been trying out the angle and it's all looking really good One question I need to ask is, I have it set on Video + photo, set to take a pic every 10 secs whilst simultaniously recording. I've tried this and the vid quality is perfect but the pics are mostly blurred! is this normal? I was thinking it may be using a slower shutter speed as it's "Time lapse"??

I'm pretty much going for the same settup, I also have the NVG Go Pro mount so it's fairly stable on the FAST Helmet. I'm going to try the Bolle' Cobra goggles though, I've sprayed them with anti fog spray (The stuff you put on motorbike helmet visors). I can't stand mesh although it's what I've used up till now as it works!

Not actually bought anything but I've sent my VSR to ASPUK to have it turned into a 500fps beast!

Thanks for the super quick replies! I've bought myself a pair of Bolle' Cobra's (I have some anti fog motorbike helmet spray) which will aid in sweat clearance. I was thinking of a neoprene face cover, I know they're not ideal and were meant to be used under a mesh face mask. I did think of the fencing style mask but I can't BLOODY stand the fact I can't look through my sight properly! I also have been considering the Wiley X goggles, they have that bit of nose protection which will make the difference in my case but are so damn big!

Hi all! Last Sunday I went to my 4th Skirmish, in honesty I was having a rubbish day (Shooting wise) didn't get one hit and to top it off I got shot in the forehead by what I think was a heavy BB from a sniper. I've taken hits to the head before but this was something else. I normally wear Advancer or Mesh glasses, wire face shield and a Baseball cap (Camo of course). As I was using my new VSR I had my cap on backward and the shooter made a superb shot dead centre on my forehead! Felt like I'd been hit by a bloody brick! Anyways, on my way home I realized I had a golf ball sized lump and a splitting headache! Looking back on it I think I had concussion! Not very nice... So out of this I noticed several things, my advancer eye pro doesn't fit snug around my nose (I have a big hooter) and TBH I don't want to take a hit like that in the ear or any other orafice! Can I start a "What do you guys use" thread? I prefer the see through facehugging style glasses and I'm looking at getting one of those mesh face masks that covers my ears. Also I will be using a gopro mounted on a FAST helmet so hopefully that'll be a good combo?

TBH I've sort of put the gun on the backburner till I know more about it all! £300 is a lot to spend on upgrading less than a week after i've bought a brand new gun but I'm getting the feeling that this is what everyone does (?) BB wise, what should I be aiming to use on a TM VSR running 500 fps?

It's an easy choice for giving me a reliable 500fps beast!

So, Thh other day I thought i'd take my first steps into the whole world of Sniper rifles. I thought it best to go for a decent product so I bought a G Spec VSR 10 by Tokyo Marui. I set the gun up with a scope and zeroed it to about 30 meters. Today I went to my local sight and VERY quickly realized I was underpowered! Other snipers were hitting me with ease and I couldn't get a hit at all! I realise that out of the box you're talking about 300 fps and I know that most sights have a 500 fps limit on these things. I looked at the ASPUK site and worked out that their way will cost me £130. -90 degree EZ Trigger + Piston set -Steel Spring Guide -M150 Spring -High Engagement Hop lever So is this the "Norm" for upgrading these things? I know that I could just bung a M130 in it stock to achieve just over 400fps For all the goodness that TM provide it seems like all I'm going to end up with is the plastic lower shell?

TM VSR10 Gspec & 3 mags. GOD I love this gun!!!! No upgrades as of yet but I can't believe the build quality! Taken it out for it's first battle tomorrow.

Arrrgghhh!!! So, a week later and here's where I am. I took back the lovely gift frommy wife and bought the Hero 4 Silver. The basic one doesn't do what I want it to do which is take a pic every 10 seconds. Also, I was really concerned that the lens might crack. (The Basic Hero cannot be removed from the case). Anyways.. I got all spendy and paid out for the 4 silver. Problem is the memory card! I have on order the Samsung Evo 32gb which doesn't look like it'll now be any good! If I plan to record at the default 1080p 30 fps setting will it still work?

Most of those mounts don't say it can be used with the hero (basic model) is that because it's new? It looks like it should fit!

Is that the same of any of the gopro cameras? Are they prone to damage from Bb hits?

Just got from the wife a GoPro Hero (Just the basic Hero). I have no idea about these things so what am I going to need other than a 32gb Card and what looks like a helmet mount (To attach to a Fast helmet). Do I need to put it in a case? (It's already om a case but I can see the lens being cracked in seconds) any help appreciated!
