Just been hit with another wave of spam threads. 😪 I'll keep reporting them as I see them.

mAh multiplied by the C rating gives the maximum continuous current the pack can provide - It directly relates to the power output. eg: 15c X 1300 mAh = 19.5A (continuous) 25c X 1300 mAh = 32.5A (continuous) 10c X 3000 mAh = 30.0A (continuous) A lower C rating is often used to 'throttle' the power to the motor - hence 15c recommendations from some manufacturers/techs/retailers. However, 15C on, say, a 3000mAh pack will allow the motor to draw up to 45A which could be enough to nuke the gun at some point.

I'm slightly embarrassed to say I did not notice that bit of functionality. So many clicks wasted over the years. 🤣

I know you are 'retired' so I wouldn't place any expectations on you - but we need more moderators that frequent the forums daily. The last couple of days have been rough.

I've reported everything I can find. Gets a bit messy around the classifieds as they have posted a couple of adverts in each section so I might have missed one or two.

Looked more like tape residue on them to me. They were probably wrapped in tape to indicate they were the knackered guns on the rack and not to be handed out to the punters. Just a guess though. Actually, it looks like guns it’s on the guns that not have the stock folding button. Probably taped the stock folded to stop it flapping around.

Classic Army G36s - so hard to get these days. Definitely one of the better G36 models. If I hadn't spent all my pocket money - I would have a couple to make a 'good' one. Shame the UMPs are Umarex Sportline (S&T OEM) with their bent stocks.

Cyma Platinum-based AEGs do not come with those nasty batteries or chargers that are often bundled with the cheapo guns.

I know where you are coming from - I get 'gun-crushes' where I try to convince myself that I NEED a particular model or platform - only to lose interest (if I buy it) or move onto the next 'cool' thing that my Ape brain wants. I'm on a 'H&K' thing at the moment - just bought a boneyard UMP and hanker for a G36, despite owning and selling both platforms in the past.

It's a weird one with King Arms. Their premium stuff is really nice - at least the couple of KA blasters I've had hands-on with, but in trying to compete in the low-end market, they made some epic compromises with the Ultra Grade. Mould lines everywhere, upper receiver that bulges out in the middle, Plastic buffer tube and charging handle etc are just the things that stuck out to me. I hear the Gearboxes, whilst outwardly featuring many of the same internal gubbins as their premium offerings, have nowhere near the love, attention and QA applied to them in the factory. The Ultra Grade platform is also used for the Tippmann Recon and some of the CAA-branded stuff from ASG.

Umm...ok. Some baffling decisions made from both sides methinks. I'm guessing you are referring to www.exmachina.uk / @EX_MACHINA? Well, he's had no social media posts since Nov-22. Time to cut your losses and move on - I would wager he won't be back. Given timescales, I doubt you'll be getting any money back you may have paid him either. A harsh lesson learnt.

That's an interesting idea - but it could be weaponised to bin off posts that the mob just doesn't like, even if it doesn't contravene any rules per se. Remember Mr No_Face? I think more moderators is the answer. I reckon supporters such as yourself act as the 'hiring board' (if they don't want to throw their own name in the hat) - I assume you have your own forum section ring-fenced from the masses where such discussion could be held? Just another brainfart.

@proffrink Thanks for the update. This forum is a fantastic resource and has a very good core community - I hope this can be sorted soon.

Mental this morning. I have reported as much as I can (20 or 30) - but it was like whack-a-mole with new threads springing up. Classifieds is a mess. I nominate @Tackle , @Rogerborg and @rocketdogbert - three of the most prolific forums users ATM that use the forums daily. Doesn't even have to a full-blown moderator status - just a 'mini-mod' role with the power to Nerf spam threads. Handbag fights that need an adult to intervene would still be be covered by @Jedi_Master No Mr Borg - YOU are the hero we need right now...time to don the cape.

Most Impressive. Just need a Glock 19, HK417 and a L129 to round things out. Oh, and a sterling. 😜

Brand new you say? Did you buy it from a UK retailer? Did you buy it recently? If yes to both, stick back in it's box and send it back under warranty. Don't dick around trying to fix it yourself.

@Jedi_Master Just a random brainfart, but would it not be worth adding another Moderator or two to the forums? After the influx of dodgy accounts and spamming of the Classifieds, perhaps some extra resource might be handy? No - I'm not volunteering - but there are very well established, high post count members that visit daily that would probably be very good in the role.

I would say £95-100 if you apply the 2/3rds rule of thumb. At £120 - you are only £40 away from a brand new one - unmolested and with a warranty. And that waranty is very handy for these particular guns.

Yeh, I had a Lonex BO Dynamics LT595. Pretty decent. Unlike the LT595, the sportline models have a weird barrel setup - no receiver threads or 'proper' outer barrel - there's a moulded receiver extension that holds on the outer barrel via a grub screw and the rail clamps onto it. Means you are pretty much stuck with the proprietary barrel and rail system. They are also sold as Tippmann Commandos. Decent guns otherwise - I would have one.

Having seen several of King Arms 'Ultra grade' model in the 'real' at the Zero One showroom - I think would buy a Specna Flex series instead. The general fit and finish was a bit disappointing for such a well established brand.

Just noticed that it's HK416-sized in rail height by the looks of it. That will somewhat restrict options to swap out the rail system.
