ok so: yeah would need to sand. What is expensive? On patrol base isn't it like 7 quid a can? My mate can happily pay that for maybe 4 cans... it just depends on if they are better than halfords. Money won't come into it, he just wants the best lasting and looking. cheers mate

ah ok cheers ian. Still a bit fuzzy but I get what you mean, generally. So a mate wants to paint his vsr. It is black but was originally two tone red. Should he sand first? He also wants a tan underlayer with green on top, and maybe a different shade of green so light and dark. What would you recommend colour wise. The painting is easy enough, however I have not yet found a good spray paint (although I haven't bought many) How does krylon work on plastic in terms of sticking and in general as a paint, and how durable is it? When I see dusting on guns they all say they use krylon. Does it give this effect or do you have to use white spirit for that effect, in which case krylon should be good right? Finally how many layers do people do when they paint their guns? TL;DR 1) should I sand? 2) recommended colours for green with a tan underlayer? 3) Krylon any good (please read that paragraph, a lot of questions in there) 4) How do you paint your guns?

Have you swapped out any of the internals and, guessing its an ares, how were the stock internals? Picture wise, nomally just take the url and put it into the picture image on the dashboard, however that didn't work so I copied the "IMG" on the right side. WIth this forum you can delete the URL part seen here (delete this) and it will look like [img ]http://i1117.p hotobucket.c om/albu ms/ k 591/rikk ilous/IM G -20141 0 17-WA0 000.jpg[/iM G] (added spaces to show what it should look like) All you need is the IMG part pretty much, just looks tidier

thats why you should use photobucket, it allows any size. Make an account, upload the photos then get the url of the photo on photobucket, and use the pictures URL feature on here to put it into your post

so you can do it through photobucket, or at the top of the page, you can go into the proper reply adding, and there you can add photos as attachments. Photobucket is easier though

personally, black ops was one of my favourite cod games, however cod 4 etc, I never was that good at, but it was a great game. black ops was where I loved SnD. Black ops 2 was the last straw, I have a hint of nostalgia, however selling my playstation was the best thing I have done in terms of grades.

yep I have the same one, fits in the front handguard of an m4 and just fits if you know what your doing in the magpul moe handguard. I swear it will last 12k+ shots - maybe up to 15k. I don't count but yesterday I shot IDK 4k+ bbs and the battery had gne down from 8.4 - 7.7 in terms of charging which only took 30 mins charging, and I wasn't using the highest setting. Seriously good battery. I got it off of component shop. For continuous discharge, no idea what it means but I can use the battery no problem, and have never got below 7.5 (not sure, volts? when you plug it into the smart charger) anyway I just top it up before a skirmish, and it lasts ages, doesn't get hot and is very good I LOVE IT!

so the amoeba is made by ares. I believe they do a UK version - 260 fps or something, however I thought their US version was like 400 fps - don't quote me though Ares do very nice externals and sh*tty internals, however there isn't much on the amoeba as far as I believe, it could be good. I remember rock climbey dave doing research on them, maybe send him a PM. No idea about the perfomence but I have always liked the G&G rk103 evo, looks quite tacticool in my opinion. G&G guns have a good reputation and mine seems to keep going, I have put quite a lot through it and have never re shimmed, touch wood still runs nicely. It looks like the GC16 has knock off magpul front handguard and stock, but I believe I saw one yesterday at a skirmish, and it seemed to do well. Quite a good price for a metal gun, however it will be like a combat machine inside, which is no bad thing, still very good quality. I have never used one however, again don't quote me on this. at the end of the day it is your choice, go with what suits you. Also check out G&P if you are looking for a metal m4

yeah, in my hast I forgot to say that a few of the people are pretty unfriendly. It's a shame, I find arnies to be better however you need 100 post count to be able to post in classifieds which is a shame, and hardly stops scammers, unless they are that lazy...

well every gun has flaws. its a great gun, and tbh you probably won't have problems but when/ if you do start looking to upgrade that would be were I would go first

is that the G&G top tech? If so, and I'm not trying to put you off, but there have been quite a few instances where it burns out. Also it hasn't exactly been made out as being good. If I were you I would look around, and maybe get a tech (if you don't feel safe) to upgrade the mosfet to a better one, a lot of members know good ones. That would be what I would do still great guns btw

2 questions Q1) why do people use those glow sticks? the only reason I can think of is to tell which team you are on? I just can't understand why though Q2) best scope that looks good on an m16 carry handle? seen a few but have no idea what they are called. thanks guys

well I run mag 190 rounders fine in my cm16, however not sure about a hk416. they are good though

is there another thing with the battery, that you haven't plugged in? a small white connector?

so is this charger a smart charger? Basically you will want to plug the balancer in. I'm not 100 percent sure however if you overcharge cell 1 then it will be very bad I believe. This is why the balancer gets plugged in to balance it. That might only be for nunchucks though, don't quote me on it
