  1. JC how is the jpc in terms of sizing. I'm quite small
  2. Not sure if I asked but what are people's thoughts on the flyye 6094 pc?
  3. james, that just means you have to sand down the inside a bit surely, so it fits in?
  4. Interesting choice how much did you pay for it, you may be into recoil territory. BTW dmrs are normally 450 fps max
  5. quite an interesting video on the 416:

You're either telling porkies about the jamming or nobody at your unit knows how to maintain A2s properly :P

well, they are probably quite old, and thats probably true, but I just said my experience was they jammed. They probably weren't cleaned very will tbh

  6. I can see what you mean, I just think he may not know that fps doesn't equal range. If he tricks a chrono, then I would be more worried about his life...and what he would be doing with it (not saying he is going to)
  7. you'd be surprised, all my guns are RIFS, with no laws broken. What are you implying then, obviously take it into context, he's not going to go around killing people... how is it fishy if he wants an RIF? He could try and scare people with it, however then why wouldn't he just get two tone and paint it black, we can't stop him. I can see your point, but I don't know where yu are taking it. First you talk about him not wanting skirmish with it, as he said but then your talking about him lighting people up. How could he skirmish with it if is hot? true about the DMR however. BTW who's he going to "light up like a Christmas tree"?
  8. not really imo. Everyone wants an RIF, who wants to be stuck with two tone. And whats 400 fps going to do, good luck killing someone with it. Maybe he doesn't know fps doesn't = range. He may want to turn it into a DMR, who knows. I reckon he didn't know fps doesn't equate to range. I may be wrong, its just my thoughts
  9. if hes doing a DMR build he will I can tell you now it isn't a plastic gearbox. They don't know what they are talking about. G&G guns have all metal gearboxes, all of them. If you want to spend a little more money but a sperate face mask, and battery and charger.
  10. on the standard carbine hand guard, yes you can get a rail section for upper and lower. also, the magpul hand guard has rail sections you can get for it. Finally magpul do a grip called the MVG that attaches directly to the moe handguard:
  11. right. If you hate two tone, buy a two tone gun (all will be explained) and then once you start skirmishing if you can, you have a valid defence to own a black gun, just not UKARA. This means you can own black guns but not buy them. Umarex re-brands stuff, some of the more experienced members may know who originally makes the g36 (probably good to stay away from it though) If you want a g36, SRC make good budget versions The ares is new, and ares generally have crap internals, however it could be quite good. G&G cm16 all the way! great internals for price, mine can out shoot a number of other guns at my site, and people comment everytime they see it, saying how good it shoots. The polymer is very strong from my experience as well. I have the carbine, so I could add a magpul stock and front handguard, and there is plenty of room for a lipo.
  12. rail wise, DD do an L85 rail, check out the madbull ones. SUSATS are available, I don't know much about them. IDK much about the gun, however I think it has blow back which people were worried might go wrong, but I'm sure you can disable it. I think it is in competition with ICS, who seem to make a very good l85. The iron sights are horrible aren't they. I will let someone who knows what they're talking about do the talking now, probably best
  13. Well, my mate is in the same kind of position, has had his gun for less than a week, and has so far spent 600 quid plus, with more to come. It's not cheap, however he's looking at twice the range of an aeg and awesome accuracy, or so he says
  14. Glad it's been resolved, guess it brightens up your day a tiny bit...
  15. its what I read when someone else posted something similar to the OP. I don't actually own one so I can't comment, but hopefully I will be buying one soon.
  16. sounds like your having a bad day. How the hell does that happen?!
  17. Ok, so for that mark you would have to add a bit more on for a G&P, they are very nice externals and good internals to go with it. Also, I don't own a metal gun but people on here say the novelty wears off. A Combat machine is great though, I have one, very light and very nice (the polymer is better than pot metal it is said which is cheaper metal used for some metal guns). G&G and G&P are full metal GBs. That gun you posted, is in america. I didn't click on the link but you have to add import, duty and handling fees, which will bring it over the 200 mark. Also a decent bttery and charger (lipo) will cost £40. Two tone, two tone... I don't have UKARA (under 18) and I HATE two tone. the law is strange however, and certain boffins on here who know the law back to front - inside out, have told me that as long as you skirmish you have a defence, like UKARA. However, for buying black guns you need ukara, however when you get the gun and skirmish, say you have some pictures of yourself doing so or if your site owner is willing to tell a copper you do play at his site, then you are allowed a black gun. This means you can buy the parts that were two tone in black. I know you say lack of local events but if you can get yourself to skirmish once a month or whatever you are fine hope that helps (please tell me if I got anything wrong)
  18. . People seem to make the mistake of buying a jbbg special as their first, happened to me ages ago and that's why initially I wasn't going to carry on. A combat machine is awesome though, mines keeps on going
  19. what are the advantages of the cpc over the jpc
  20. What about the crye jpc. Seems affordable and looks pretty ergonomic, what are people's thoughts? Oh yeah and the flyye version as well, aor1 <3
  21. I think he means BBs not midcaps. Have you tried other BBs. What about cyma or classic army mid caps?
  22. Polarstar with magpul aac and tm mk23
  23. bit of a stereotype, in 14 myself and take every hit, even for I am doubt. In fact, the older people at my site are the ones who haven't taken a hit In the past, maybe because they got shot by a "14 year old"... As posted before though, get some guns, maybe do a few garden battles with them, but you should always choose at that sort of age. I only say it is a bit young but by 11 they should be dying to go, and I'm sure she sites allow 11 year olds
  24. I believe second hand. I am using a nunchuck actually, probably the same one as you. Will have a look at fitting differently
