So been working today on L115A3. Doing it based on ones seen in Afghanistan theatre. Now all sprayed up and weathered. Given a light dusting. and carboned up the flash hider. Just need to find/make the correct style suppressor.

Hahaha, and even then the family keeps on growing. Since then. Now have a sterling smg and a colt model 602 issued to sas in borneo. For the L129. In term of parts... yes. Its bang on. Genuine lmt stock, lmt front qr mount.... etc. But I'm still to get the correct trades done. And remove the ambi bolt release. In fact theirs quite a bit of work to make it even remotely close. But I no longer have the time and money like I once did, to get this collect anywhere near as accurate as I once did. So will stay as is for a while.

Nothing too exciting compared to other prints. But a prototype L115 dovetail to picatinny scope rail. The grey one is the 3d print. Last pic is it compared to a real rail.

Had this printed for me. But the correct simrad rail for the British L115A3 sniper rifle. Spent ages smoothing it down, as was made from mfj. Then painted it to look metal.

Short answer, the mags will not be cross compatible. Also ARES don't do a Fal. They do the L1a1. Despite the L1A1 and fal looking the same, the mags are actually different. KING ARMS actually replicated that with theirs. So the king arms fal mags won't work with the king arms L1A1.

Handguard I got from octagon airsoft. Torch is a SL20, which I got off ebay. Genuine hk mount I got from Zib militaria (but have since closed down!) Torch holder was custom made by a guy called Steve leggett.

As already mentioned. When you talk to anybody about the SAS MP5 of the iranian embassy seige. Those that know always mention the top mountes torch. So is always associated with it. Plus in the sea of mp5s out there, its the most unique and interesting, and far less done. Because most people just like to copy either the sure fire torch version or the navy seal sd with m4 ris mounted on it....

Would love to have something like this....

But never come up, and last one that did was silly money. So may just write that off. As seen deacts cheaper. But kinda defeats the object of it all been airsoft. It depends on the brands. The TM sig E2 bits will not fit the normal, or vise versa. Mags are a different story. The E2 mags will fit the normal 226, but not the other way around.

Mine started as a TOP M249, but has external upgrades, Replica flash hider Guarder steel gas block Guarder steel centre block Guarder steel cocking lever Guarder steel body parts. G&P steel bipod ANGS top cover, This is being worked on to actually have a working round indicator. Genuine rear sight Genuine box mag (period correct) Genuine stock (not fitted yet)
