my airsoft site is entirely based on WW2 although there are no restrictions on weapons or loadout for normal game days (apart from the fps limits) but milsims are strictly WW2 loadouts as far as i know. they will accept modern weapons but single shot only and i think they limit the amount of ammo taken for the day. i assume that with so many ex squaddies playing, the ammo limit is largely ignored with inventive ways of hiding extra somewhere. i know from experience that the SA80 will happily hide 6 cigarettes inside it
ICS L85A2 arrived today with 3 mags and no battery. the connector is not compatible with my G3 battery
20 x CO2 capsules (with belt) have been posted to me
minor upgrades to my ASG pistol on sunday so a new spring and hop rubber are now making it more efficient thanks to the resident pistol competition shooter
to be honest, I am wondering if I should buy a standard copy to play and pass on the pip boy edition to a more passionate follower of the series. For me it is a novelty item but it could be a valuable addition to a serious collector. It is not like I would actually use the phone holder anyway. Or wear the t shirt (I think I am getting that too)!
authenticity! This is why I have been very picky about finding the right ICS L85 to match my loadout. It must remain externally authentic which could be L85A1 or A2 since I personally transported my squadrons weapons to Warminster for refurb/upgrade. No rails, ACOG, vertical foregrips etc because they were not in service when I served
you might like to consider a used gun. Most airsofters are responsible adults and take very good care of their kit so you would be unlucky to buy a dud. Choose your ideal gun, ask about which brand to look for then check the classifieds (once you have a UKARA) for the one you want. I have bought 3 guns from people and not one repair has been necessary
I didn't fancy a two-tone or throwing money into airsoft without testing it first. Solution: Rent from the site until I was able to buy a RIF. Rental guns are RIFs. There is your answer to USING a RIF without a UKARA
a similar conversation came up at todays skirmish. It seems that they dont get vandalism as such but they do get regular visits from thieving gypo scum even though nothing of value is ever left on site
£250 dropped to £200 after discovering this fault. I have taken a chance on it so I will receive it on Monday or Tuesday. Frenchie (tech guru) is aware of a job coming in
the one in my profile pic is the site patch and on the front I have a subdued union jack with a poppy in the middle. I have a subdued st Andrews cross on my right arm but I am considering sewing a TRF onto the original MTP patch instead, especially now that I have finally bought a stable belt to use in skirmishing
