  1. Start a custom fibreglass helmet business and you'd be onto a nice little earner there mate haha! Like an earlier poster said - I wouldn't have known a difference without the caption.
  2. If you can get hold of one let me know haha I think it's dependant on where you get it from - some places in the US refuse outright to ship gun parts internationally whereas some will make you do the legal legwork to acquire it since it's technically part of a firearm. Edit: Depends on who looks at your package when it comes in and their definition of what it is since "component parts" that work the gun (which could include the pump on a shotgun) are restricted whereas "accessories" (which could also be the shotgun pump) aren't. Gotta love our import laws and all their vagueness.
  3. Had a look at the usual suspects (fire-support, Zeroone, etc.) and no one seems to have them in. Might be worth ringing fire support and seeing if they can get one ordered since they're the main distributor of ICS stock in the UK.
  4. Or start throwing it when you're bored - never ends well
  5. Same here, optics have their place on shotguns even if they look wrong on some models. Makes it easier in a straight up firefight than iron sights to stay on target. Unless it's a secondary for room clearing where it needs to be kept minimal - but at that range if you miss then you're quite crap haha
  6. Heresy! AKs are pretty enough without rails haha
  7. If he's wearing a wire then it's hidden in a place no one wants to venture into haha
  8. Welcome to the forum mate
  9. The only thing I don't like about that is the extending stock, like two said it should be a fixed stock
  10. Here is my pride and joy, the one gun I know I will never sell on. My Maruzen CA870 that is finally built how I want it: 6.05 inner barrel (stock), installed an adjustable hop up nub since the 870 has a fixed hop, Maruzen CQB mount base, G&P M870 fixed stock and the iron sights off my TM High Cycle AUG. This is now essentially a CQB legal sniper rifle with a faster rate of fire, affectionately named "Princess" haha
  11. G&G Combat Machine 16 or an ICS Sportline M4 are decent platforms to start with. Both are reliable and sturdy guns that can be obtained quite cheaply around £150. Think snuff had a metal ICS for sale on here. Edit: Here it is! http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/21617-ics-m4a1-full-metal/#entry151263
  12. Very CQB you say? Me thinks I'll be leaving my aug at home and running my shotgun instead on the 5th July. Might also invest in a grenade of some sort haha
  13. Angry because the fixed stock for my ca870 has arrived, but upon trying to install it I have found I need screwdriver that's approximately a foot long since they didn't use the obvious method of having the screw go through the pistol grip - instead it's at the bottom of the actual stock :/ Non airsoft related: split up with my missus of two years the other week. Bit miffed still about that.
  14. Gym, MMA, video gaming and being outdoorsy (hiking/camping/trekking). Used to mountain bike a little but I gave that up when I split up with my ex - she kept the mountain bikes, I had the car and snakes. Think I came off better haha
  15. I can see that going down well with the people who live near airsoft sites haha
  16. Few places you can get them though be warned these guns shoot really high out of the box: G608 Model http://www.airsoftworld.net/jg-g36c-assault-rifle-g608.html http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft/jg-g608-g36c.htm#.U6cGCIm9LTo G608-6 "Tactical" Model (uses M4 mags) http://www.airsoftworld.net/jg-g36c-tactical-airsoft-assault-rifle-g608-6.html https://jdairsoft.net/jg-g36-g608-6 Other brands you could consider: Umarex H&K G36C http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/Two-Tone-Umarex-Heckler-Koch-G36C-Sportline-AEG_A1DF48.aspx#.U6cGcom9LTo https://jdairsoft.net/umarex-hk-g36c-sportline-blue ICS G33 (uses m4 mags) http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/ICS-G33-Airsoft-Rifle-DE-Black_A1BA81.aspx?nh=124118#.U6cG9Im9LTo ASG G36C https://jdairsoft.net/asg-g36c Out of all of these I'd go for either the SRC G36C Gen III if I wanted a "pure" G36C model or the ICS G33 if I wanted a "hybrid" style. Both guns are fairly solid, cost under £200 and are reliable. If I was forced to choose one I'd go for the ICS as it has a more consistent track record, doesn't need downgrading (330 fps average) and magazines are more plentiful. Sure, purists will sneer at you for not having a "proper gun" or being a "wannabe m4" user (my mate has been accused of both with his) but it's a brilliant gun.
  17. For G36C you can't go far wrong with SRC. Just make sure it is the Gen III model you buy since the earlier Gens were prone to internal failures/breakages. For other options you could try looking at second hand rifles on websites. Couple of months ago Landwarrior Airsoft had a bunch of ex-hire JG G36C rifles for £60 (Grade 1 condition) and £40 (Grade 2 condition) which is brilliant for a starter rifle - sadly all sold but even I considered getting one haha.
  18. Haha welcome to the forum mate! Quite a few ex service players around (not myself) so you're in good company
  19. Off topic thumbs up to you mate for being in Game of Thrones, very jealous haha
  20. This is why I brought the KWA version. Was a very stury sidearm and had a lot more positive feedback than the SRC. Don't have it any more as I had to reduce my armoury, but was a great little gun. Only issue I had was the small magazine size (10 rounds)
  21. Haha reminds of when I used to convert cheap spring shotguns to fire BBs instead of nerf bullets when I was younger. Can imagine it being a very cheap build project. I'd have personally done it in one of these:
  22. Haha that was my first response, but it was eclipsed when I saw the breacher The market doesn't need yet another M4, but that's a debate for a different thread lol
  23. This. Sadly some people would stoop that low though :/
  24. You do realise this is a uk forum right mate? Very limited on the support we'd be able to give in a different country
