You have to sing whilst wearing it. Equally as terrifying haha

5 czech belt loops and a m60 backpack with straps. CSLA 1960s impression is now 90 % complete - just need a shovel, canteen and vz58 (when ones released haha).

Used the money from gear/gun/eBay sales to buy two 40 round kwa vz61 magazines and a bottle of gas from Milspec Solutions. Brings me to 3 extended mags and 1 short mag - 140 rounds total. Enough to be skirmishable as long as I don't get too trigger happy haha

complete noob here so please be gentle (thats what she said)

Welcome to the forum mate! P90s can be brilliant depending on the brand but being a bull pup they shoot further than you think. If I wasn't trying to downsize my arsenal I'd probably have one of them myself. Like Chock pointed out - a pistol is a good choice for CQB. Even a cheap springer is enough at a push since most engagements can be very close range. I wouldn't recommend throwing a plastic knife at people though - most sites don't take too kindly to it and may see you banned for doing so. -
That mk46 is a thing of beauty clumpy, very jealous haha

Tokyo Marui VSR. Have a lot of upgrades available for them and are one of the easiest rifles you'll ever have to maintain. Stock fps of 280-300 but easily remedied with a new spring and stronger spring guide. The stock hop up is great - TM hop ups seem to have that bit of magic in them that makes the BBs just go further. Add on top of that a brilliant build quality and precision barrel (6.04 I think) as standard means you'll have a rifle that will last a fair while. I use a clone of this rifle (Well MB02) and have had no issues with upgrading/part replacement. Set up wise it's personal preference. My current set up is a simple belt rig to store mags for my sidearm (a KWA vz61 machine pistol), rubber knife (for safety kills), a TRMR (+ blanks) and two spare sniper mags. Very light and keeps me mobile since I need to be able move from point to point as quickly as possible. Also means I don't have unnecessary gear catching on branches/brambles. Ghillie suits are another matter of personal choice. I personally don't use one - the terrain at my local site is too varied for an efficient ghillie suit. Plus my style of play is more geared towards recon than sniping - the added weight of a ghillie outweighs any benefit it would have in my eyes. That said, at a site with more consistent terrain they are brilliant bits of kit - if the person using it knows what they're doing with it. Common beginner mistake is to not make their added foliage match the area where they are.

It's for my kwa vz61 mate, doesn't have a battery

Welcome to the forum mate! Feel free to ask questions but check the search bar first - it might have already been answered before haha

Real steel surplus Czech army vz61 wooden grip. $25 from the US (with shipping) which works out so much cheaper than buying a replica grip for some reason. Brought it because I don't like the black grip on my vz61 - wooden looks so much nicer
-
Now that you've pointed it out, I can't unsee that haha Looks good mate, but obviously without seeing the terrain in which you usually play I can't say how efficient it will be.
-
Pretty good quality the ones I got - just needed a quick polish and they looked like new. Barely any scuff marks/wear on them.
-
Plus if it shoots, you can guarantee people will shoot it back

All I can see is the blank space that needs filling

Czech Needle Pattern m60 jacket Vz61 20 round ammo pouch - £17 off eBay Just need to find some matching trousers - thinking DDR/East German ones as the pattern is very similar - and my new impression will be mostly finished. Only issue will be finding a pair in a size that fits. Edit: Annnnd I ended up buying some strichtarn trousers. Size too big, but easily remedied with my awesome sewing skills haha

Vz58 Leather Ammo pouch. £8 off fleabay. Gonna use it for storing the 40 round mags for my vz61 - they don't fit securely enough for me in regular vz61 pouches.
-
Which? The Ushanka or the boots? The Ushanka was a regular biddable item someone had listed. The jack boots I brought off Sfrankish. Has a lot of your older surplus gear on there from a mix of countries.

Not often I like something in multicam, but that does look really nice Al.

Yeah 350 is the dead on limit. The strictness of them sticking to it depends on the marshal running the chrono. I've used a new gun there that was hitting 351 but since it was a new gun they allowed it - obviously that might not happen for you. If you've got the space/ammo to run through then it's worth a shot (bad pun!) but there's no guarantee it will settle in time. With regard to the pistol, I'd wait a bit and get the UKARA if you're worried about it being two tone. Another option is to get a rental gun for the day which defies the point of having your own rifle. Or buy a cheap spring shotgun - they work great at this site due to its tiny engagement distances. Personally I think your G&G will be fine. Just put the hop up a smudge and run the Blasters in it. I don't head to the towers that often (even though it's my closest site - MAW in Melton Mowbray is more my style of play) otherwise I'd loan you my back up rifle if I was going.
-
Is it a new gun? Most tend to need running in with a few hundred rounds before the spring settles. Also the fps limit for the towers is 328 (like most F&O sites) with an allowance of up to 350. Over that and they won't let you run it at all. Stock G&G rifles tend to settle around the 330 fps mark. It may just be the BBs you used initially - if so I'd stick with the Blasters. If you're REALLY concerned then get a tech to drop a 90 or 100 spring in it. P.s. Take some pyro if you're heading to the towers. If you don't have it you'll get slaughtered. I'd even say drop the rifle and run just a good pistol at that site! Very close quarters.

For most of my guns I run ASG Blaster Devil 0.25g for indoors and Fireball Biodegradble 0.25g for outdoors. Both seem fairly similar in terms of quality with the Fireball ones being significantly cheaper. For my sniper rifle I have had a lot of success with Zeroone's 0.4g BBs. They have a bad rep for every other size they do, but I've never had any issues with this size. At £7.99 for 2000 rounds it's very cheap compared to other sniper ammo.

Real Sword SVD or a Zeta Labs MkIII Mosin Nagant Both are seriously beautiful guns, simple to operate and maintain.
-
If I was starting again I'd get one of these for under £150: http://www.taiwangun.com/en/cm-028s?from=listing&campaign-id=20 Would ask them to downgrade the spring to around 320 fps to make it site legal. The rest of my money would be spent on batteries, mags and a sling.

Low or mids, since reloading is a lot more badass than winding.

Nope, still ugly.
