Look around for a metal hop unit for a better airseal and consistency. The stock g&g is plastic but can swap out for a prowin for about £20. Stock barrel is pretty good as long as it is clean. Before buying anything, i suggest you disassemble the hop system and wash the bucking in warm soapy water. Also clean the barrel well(with no bucking on) with a solvent to remove grease and dirt and then polish. As mentioned heavier bbs, .25 or .28 are needed. You could also look at R hops, flat hops, G hops and more. If you dont want to do that, maybe look into an h nub with a firefly/marui/prommy/g&g green/guarder clear bucking. If youre looking to upgrade the barrel to a longer one, you could also get a suppressor and put it in that. ZCI and madbull and lonex are all good, cheap barrels

Thanks, wasn't aware of that. I will buy a few buckings then, I'm looking at trying prometheus purple or firefly soft along with a flat nub(firefly or prometheus?) Sorry for diverting the thread to the op, I've heard great things about the cyma aks, great inside and out, and all they really need is the usual barrel clearn etc to perform very well
-
Just wondering, with a flat hop how often do you need to change the bucking or how do you know when it needs changing? is it an obvious performance drop?

Yeah, i saw somewhere that said use 25c as a minimum. Something else, can anyone find a link on here where somebody used a dummy garmin gps on their stock to hold their battery. I have tried using the search function but cant find anything.

Thanks, i actually just bought two of these as the component shop ones were out of stock, and i needed to order soon. http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__67731__Turnigy_nano_tech_1200mAh_2S_25_50C_Lipo_AIRSOFT_Pack_T_Connector_.html so hopefully they will fit, i just wanted to know what batteries anyone else had stuck in the buffer tube of a combat machine

I agree somewhat with that, it is down to the buyer to make sure theyre getting a fair deal and its recommended to make sure that the seller has some feedback and a reasonable amount of posts to ensure they're not a scammer. Anything that is ridiculously priced is usually pointed out by someone on the sales post, in 'macks airsoft dreamers of the week' or a status.

Just found these from googling dpm ubacs. Theyre in your price range but not sure about shipping http://www.cadetfactoryshop.co.uk/acatalog/Viper_Special_Ops_UBACS_Shirt_-_DPM__26.95.html http://www.cadetdirect.com/viper-spec-ops-woodland-dpm-ubacs

Hmm or that. Definitely the easiest bit of advice to listen to in the thread

Heavier bbs is definately the way to go. I use .25 or .28. From what ive seen those cymas have great external (and pretty good internal) quality for around £100 from taiwan gun and with a few things, can be a beast of a gun. As for what others use sp00n, if josh is referring to billericay it is mainly aeg users, rarely is there someone using a gbbr. If you were there last weekend josh i must've seen you, only one person with a g5.

Hi all, im thinking of getting a ctr/moe stock for my cm18. I am also switching to lipos so want one that is able to fin in the buffer tube. I usually have the stock near full extended so it doesnt matter if it wont retract all the way in. Also must be deans. I was wondering if this would fit? http://www.vapextech.co.uk/batteries/airsoft-batteries/li-po-packs/airsoft-7-4v-1300mah-30c-lipo-battery-vapextech-lp301/ http://www.vapextech.co.uk/batteries/airsoft-batteries/li-po-packs/airsoft-7-4v-1450mah-20c-lipo-battery-with-case-lp207-vapextech/ Also would 20c too low? i know higher c rating doesnt mean better but just some advice Thanks

Yeah just unfortunately have to wait a few months until one of us can drive, but will hopefully attend one day. We are specifically interested in airsoft plantation also in billericay if anyone has information about that one. -

Right thanks for that. Had considered one of the okto eight milsims but will have to wait until one of us can drive(even more possibilities then ) awa seems to be similar to the usual woodland and is a bit far so may skip that for now. Shame about that lack of cqb sites too -

Oh right, their website and Facebook does suggest that they are just a shop now with occasional events at fingrinhoe ranges. Hadn't looked at awa, will read the review then -
Im in Essex looking for different sites to try out. At the moment we haven't ventured from billericay and while it's a good site we want to try others out. I know a bit about dragons lair and hope to go soon. Has anyone been to or know anything about airsoft plantation Gunsmoke or Colchester bunker 39 Or recommend other sites(Yes I've looked at websites and fb but want real experience) Specifically: Price General review Attitude to u18 Fps limits Safe zone facilities Thanks

In concept I think it's a good idea, but you would need to have a large arsenal to demonstrate the repairs etc. at the very least you would want a few different versions of gearboxes as well as more parts to go with it. This could mean that the cost could run high unless you limit it to just the weapons/gearbox types you own Like as you mentioned the l85

Agree with you and UKARA debates often spiral out of control but: Yes it could be argued that it may be slightly bending the VCRA, but somebody with a real firearm is less likely to hold up a bank with atoy gun. I think it is simply a matter of proving what the RIF is going to be used for and the person is not going to be a dick with it. Whilst yes, having a firearm licence does not prove that you will be airsofting with it, it does suggest that it will be used sensibly by a person possibly more responsible around firearms and RIFs than your average airsofter.

In stock here mack http://www.socomtactical.net/misc-items-and-one-offs/proper-ukara-licence.html To the OP: definitely look at a vsr/bar 10 or alternatively a well/warrior l96(mb01) Both of these rifles have numerous upgrades available and are the most common sniper rifles seen out there. Obviously if you want something different, you could look at an A&K or King Arms SVD
