If I get some time this weekend I'll desolder the control board, plus break out my tactometer to get some RPM readings
-
I recommend no AB or pre-cock for now, I'm out of Perun's at the moment so can't run any tests, as soon as my supply gets in I'll test. For anyone desperate to run those I suggest waiting till the 2nd batch arrives (if indeed I do decide on a 2nd batch). @strykerles Yep the plan is on for shorts. Super easy to convert a long to a short if desperate enough No capacitor that I could see

@Pseudotectonic it doesn't spin when the button is depressed, however if it was me I'd simply remove the motor, connect it to the wires, then set the speed. it's not something you'd be changing on the fly really.
-
@JinxDuh £22 is an extremely good price from what I've seen others charging.
-
@EDcase what sort of machine are you looking to run if from? I was looking at a fibre myself for doing some etching on stainless steel and aluminium. Not cheap sadly.
-
@Lozart woah, an AEG make-over. Let me know how it goes and maybe post a video of before and after please xx
-
Thanks guys, fingers crossed this trial works out fine. If there's any issue at all please get in touch. Also feedback is appreciated. If this batch works out fine then I can continue to keep the price low. I should have a few more by Monday.

Not too many brands use the side screws. CORE Airsoft is the only Chinese brand I know that do. Obviously others.
-
@Rogerborg yep, I imagine rents and rates through the roof. Love how the article starts off "New Paintball Venue", then by the 3rd paragraph the author has already converted over to Airsoft 🙂 And what's a local Democracy reporter? lol....Jezzz BBC at it again. So glad I cancelled my TVL.

I'd say you have the price wrong, too high. You mentioned mosfet but don't mention what type? Plus the stock, red handguard and red receiver parts aren't really a crowd puller - a real acquired taste.
-
@Cannonfodder you've been catfished 😃
-
That's great news, thanks for letting me know.

As others have said start by looking at the hop rubber and chamber. Take a chrono reading if you can so you can confirm the power. Remove the inner barrel, clean, refit and test. Come back with some results for us.

One True BRAND 🙂 You're right, not needed. Most Nitrile comes with decent anti-oil protection aleady. The same Viton / FKM oring is often 5% thicker so it's better used when looking to make up a little extra space.
-
they're all vented, it's what pushes out the piston head oring to create a solid air seal, it's just some have more vents than others but generally it doesn't make much difference. Ideally you need a chrono if doing any gearbox upgrades. Did your original piston head not have any vents?

You'll most likely need to experiment a little with different springs, however it's worth trying what you have to start with if you just swop out the cylinder. Not all M100 springs are equal (you don't say what brand yours is). The ones you often receive with stock guns are poorer quality, some brands use stronger springs in order to compensate for poor compression/airseals. Perhaps a M110 together with a 1/2 cylinder good place to start. Message me and I'll sort you out.
-
i'm hoping to get some new CNC ones made in the spring but it's a tricky thing to machine correctly. Priced around £10, bit different to £3 but super nice.
-
I just got back home, there's a minor pinion fitment issue that I need to fix but the tester has been out with an independent guy so I'll post up his thoughts on the motor later this evening.
-
Ideally you should fit a 1/2 cylinder.

Use a tiny amount of silicone lube on the zci rotary oring to free up movement Try the ec gearbox, nothing to lose. G&p older gearboxes aren't an improvement over ec gearboxes generally but over the years things have changed. My old g&p from 12 years ago was trash for instance. Might run into some fitment issues with the ec though. Personally id just transplant the titan or buy a new perun for the g&p, open it up, check the parts and see what needs to be improved.

Awe thanks. The factory did a cock up so I'm always more than happy to pass on those products at a super knockdown price. Even offering no questions asked return, just want to give people the option of trying a super tight bore for peanuts. Next week I'm hopefully going to test out some MRs with 5.5mm long nubs which I think will maximise the bucking. I had all the intentions of upgrading the website but soon realised was going to probably take me 4-6 weeks instead 😀 migrating all the data was a huge pita. Hopefully soon going to be offering £1.50 shipping again on large letter products under £12.50, I'll be trialling it for 6 weeks.
-
I gave it a good test and got some amazing accuracy out of it. give it a try and see how you get on.
-
thanks so much, I've been cleaning, checking and testing them all before - exhausting. 🙂 was that the 470mm ?
-
full specs will be up on the website in a couple of weeks

Dual-bearing spinny things arrived and impressed to see the difference between brushless brands.
