  1. Buy a M110 spring, fit it then chrono to work out starting fps. maybe run 1000 bb's / cycles through it, leave compressed in the aeg over night. then chrono. at this point you can either try taking a coil off or you can short-stroke 1 tooth. another option check to see what if the spring guide and piston head have a thrust bearing installed, if one is missing you can perhaps install one with the M100 or remove one of them with a M110, that might make a small difference. Either way 325 fps is perfectly respectable, sometimes it's better to leave as is As @Rogerborg says Airsoft isn't an exact science, spring designs differs in how they are rated, add to that all the other variables involved etc.
  2. you sir have a compression leak either in the hop chamber / rubber or in the gearbox. chamber problems are easier to work on but gearbox issues you'll have to open her up. have a youtube search on "aeg compression tests". as roger says could just be something as simple as replacing or lubing orings
  3. those double o-ring piston heads are just another thing to go wrong and don't give any real performance issue. Same with having a thrust bearing on the piston head and on the spring guide. My guess SA are trying to improve reliability and that's what you want on a £140 gun, returns eat into profit so badly with AEG's
  4. the E&C V2 Trigger Switches are pretty decent, they generally work on most shells. I've not come across one in which they didn't work but you have very odd problem here. brand new AEG's don't really have this issue. if the shell is getting pinched then you might be able to fix with a small washer on the screw by the trigger block
  5. Battery is in the PEQ? Was there any particular reason for not running a stick battery on top? The print quality looks decent enough, what kind of options are there in the 3D printing world to get better quality? I've seen some of the resin 3D printers and the quality is very good but heard the plastic isn't as strong? @Samurai I think I would prefer a version without the stock, maybe worth doing version with and version without.
  6. @Alimcd oh no lol ...springs do go through some real abuse. ZCI does seem to be one of the better after-market springs. The new Gearparts springs so far doing well. Japanese military grade steel seems to do the job.
  7. standard hk post seems to be the slowest, just have to sit back and wait
  8. Ordered a rif and other parts from HK, arrived in a week with standard e-express, no problems. Seems all of the smaller stores haven't yet signed up to the HMRC scheme, consequently my bits all arrived with no charges.
  9. better to use the website buddy as it's much cheaper on there. instead of the sorbo pads go for a £2 set of AOE washers, much easier to fit. as i said you may not need to fit them, there's a lot of debate at the moment etc.
  10. Grab something like a CYMA 15 tooth or Rocket 14 tooth to replace. You might want to correct AOE with some spacers, it's not 100% necessary but it's something I would do personally. I'd also epoxy down the rack, again that's just me. Thread-lock that gear screw and the piston head screw just to be on the safe side. The height of pistons actually vary slightly, generally around 0.5mm. From the looks of your piston, it's similar to the E&C design which is one of the larger bodies. It's about 0.6mm taller than the XT / Rocket pistons I've got
  11. you said SHS, i sell Rocket ones 🙂 bent spur gear shafts can happen but I've not come across it for a long time. the spur gear definitely isn't getting caught on the case right? - check there's no separation between the layers of the spur gear - check all teeth are intact, no burrs or anything like that - do you have another shell you can test them in? - have you got another set of gears to try? If not send em back to me and I'll test them here, occasionally I do get customers where shs / rocket gears just don't work for one reason or another, generally we swop to a set of ZCI and that fixes the problem. it's very rare but it happens
  12. post up a pic of the inside shell just to be on the safeside, if you have another shell to test the gears would be a good idea. also post up a pic of the gears, are they legit shs?
  13. "check with your customs, it's your job to contact them - you left the EU!!!!!!!!!!!" Did that actually say that word for word? If so it's pretty bad. What info did the tracking number give? Who was the courier?
  14. I was surprised they got the go-ahead for this. Friend of mine used to work there as a prison guard, 400 players does sound quite a lot, difficult to judge though. Only 5 mins from me.
  15. @shadowfacex good start indeed, have you thought about creating an account system where a site owner would register and then they can add, and then edit their site details, price, opening etc. Saves you from having to edit the info yourself.
  16. I run a plastic gun in the morning and then just go home 🙂 I'm even lazier
  17. Massive production costs together with low margins I imagine. Also licensing costs for the Taiwanese and Japanese perhaps.
  18. Man that suck, some of the EU orders I've been sending out have arrived in perfect time. Ireland, NL etc. No delays at all. This is with Royal Mail as well. No RIF's of course. Some Polish guy on FB got his TG order in 3 days using a private courier - might be worth looking at in future
  19. Although slightly different to couriers like DHL, UPS etc, EMS have the right idea, they just suspend the service when it becomes too difficult to meet time scales. It's not a perfect solution, they sometimes aren't the best company but I get the feeling greed takes over at UPS.
  20. @RebelScum Does indeed seem to be a UPS thing. I got my EMS, FedEx and DHL parcels in usual time. What frustrates me is the lack of transparency and communication. They don't even offer a webchat function. They make you wait on hold for 45 minutes. Service has fallen through the floor yet their prices have risen. They don't even offer any service guarantee anymore and haven't done for nearly a year.
  21. Did you pay your charges yet? I normally pay VAT and duties etc direct to the driver on delivery however looks like they they've switched to paying before delivery now. However their whole payment process isn't geared up. Even their way of informing you of payments isn't that clear. My packages came from China though so slightly different. Got a vague message on the tracker to say charges need to be paid, but no link to pay or instructions. So called UPS support and was told "ohhh ignore that, just pay the driver" . So I wait for another week, no movement on the tracker. Called support again, got Steve from Delhi 🙂 on the worst quality line. He said I had to pay now, so paid over the phone as this was the only way to pay, arrived next day even though tracker said parcel still in China. Seems they are overwhelmed, but still taking on packages.
  22. I know it's a bit of a kick in the nuts but £15 for a courier is still a pretty good price for Poland to UK. As for the rest it does all depend on what is on the CN22 label. The fees they originally quoted you didn't make much sense so maybe they are holding it to re-asses. Just a waiting game at the moment, I've a couple hundred motors stuck with UPS god knows where for 2 weeks now.
  23. Were you charged any local VAT? I suspect just like when you order from HK, that due to the amount of parcels coming in not all get stopped. This is especially true when going through the national carriers like Royal Mail / Parcel Force / EMS
  24. 800GBP? Do you have a screenshot of the actual invoice? Interesting to see. Very strange, "government charges" can't be VAT and Duty, too low. VAT alone would be £160.
