A(nother) Cyma AK from TaiwanGun.
£61.
I mean, come on...
-
X-Site in Lane End (Buckinghamshire) run Saturday games.

I wasn't able to make the opning day, but will probably be there for the next one. Any feedback from those that DID make it?

I'm in the process of rounding up the troops so hopefully we'll be able to make it. I have that "new site" dilemma though - what loadout? May need to go shopping ;-)

Interesting.
This is around 20 minutes away from me so I think I'll have to grace it with my presence.

I have 2 Mk 23's. I stupidly lost the suppressor from the first, so my cheapest option was to buy another full kit. Basically, my replacement suppressor came with a free pistol and a spare magazine.
Used it in the cold last week, and one fill of gas emptied 2 magazines of 26 rounds each. Can't recommend it enough.
And did I mention that it's massive?
-
And you can get them from Taiwangun (highly recommended)
Enjoy!

Personally if I wanted a specifically silenced pistol I would get a TM MK23. They are decent guns and outside of spring sniper rifles are the quietest gun I have come across.
And it's a proper man's gun ;-)

MK23 at Taiwangun

Cheap as chips and hugely impressive. And also just huge.
Other than that, I'd recommend anything from Tokyo Marui.

Wow! I genuinely didn't realise it was The Mall - just thought the feel was similar...

You had me all excited for a while there. Nothing on the website, but I hadn't come across them before so Scoot and Shoot are now on my list of retailers!

Would have loved to do a load out from the Zulu film (1964 and as a red coat not a zulu )
Already there, but sadly lacking an airsoft Martini-Henry. I looked into converting one, but they're horribly expensive even for a wreck. Project stalled while I examine the potential for a Dredd loadout...

Lt. Col. William Kilgore and Capt. Benjamin Willard from Apocalypse Now...

Bugger. Hadn't spotted that.

Before anybody says it, I know all about the site I'm linking to, but I'm wondering whether the LAM unit here:
http://www.onlyairsoftguns.co.uk/157260342.html
would fit my Stti Mk23 (which is a clone of the ASG version, which is a clone of the TM one).
I know it's likely to be a piece of rubbish, but let's be honest - it's all about the look, isn't it? For £12, it's probably worth a punt anyway...

I just bought a new suppressor for my Mk23 to replace the one I lost at The Mall a few weeks ago. Just £25 from Taiwangun, and it came with a free pistol and magazine too!!!

Wear what the hell you like. The only times what you wear should come into is if its too thick to feel your hits or if your playing milsim when dress is part of the game. If its a normal skirmish then you can wear your girlfriends underwear if thats what floats your boat.
I hate people who think you have to go all army to play airsoft because camo and correct blahblah uniform really matters when your shooting at each other 30 meters apart with plastic balls fired out of your toy gun. Wear whats comfortable, suitable and most importantly what you like sod what anyone else says.
Don't get me wrong - not being a gear snob. I just hate hoodies. I think they look horrible and really set my teeth on edge.

Can only endorse the CYMA AK series. www.taiwangun.com will see you right (if you have UKARA).
